How had yours held up over time??
I bought this bag in june 2023, now in april 2024 ive had to repair it three times already
The first time the left strap came off from the body of the bag, i sewed it back on with dental floss, the second repair was the right strap came off, i also sewed it back on with dental floss
And just last week a hole wore in the bottom, i took a large piece of denim the size of the bottom and sewed it over the bottom into the seems, i might need to tweak this repair i dont know how strong it will hold by itself, but sonfar its holding
But the thing is i use this bag literally everysingle time i go out to detect, ive walked many kilometers in it because i dont drive, sometimes with 2 detectors and a predator phoenix shovel, so pretty weighed down
If it dosnt last much longer i might buy it again, but do all the reinforcement before even using it once, and maybe it will hold up better

the led in the metal detector isn't that bright my ultra it does light up faintly enough but for my taste it could be a little brighter like 100/200 lumen that would be great
but that backpack damn that fits more than I have 😂nice

Thanks Leon, interesting review. What is the actual target use for a bag like this ? I see it as an ideal traveling bag. For a actual working/detecting bag it appears rather impractical, way to large and not easy to get to the contents. A bag half this size will do perfectly well for a full days hiking and detecting even with spare coils, spade/scoop, camera gear, etc. How easy and comfortable is it to wear while sitting or kneeling ? A few shots from behind while wearing it would have been useful. I say again this bag looks ideal as a travel bag for all your gear for a weekend or longer expeditions but not as a day to day detecting bag.
Hi Allen, different strokes for different folks. You detect mostly on the beach, for us walking\Hiking up and down hills being able to have a lot of equipment in a bag like this is perfect. I wore the backpack and it felt perfectly fine, comfort is a compromise if you need to detect with a backpack. Yes a minimalist setup is ideal, for those without that luxury this is a perfect backpack. Then as a standard travel bag to keep your gear in it works just as well. Again, some ppl might not need this, for those that do, I tried to show as many features and aspects as possible. That was the goal of this video. Thanks for watching👌
I am no stranger to hiking into remote areas with my detecting gear and certainly won't use a bag that size for hiking wit my gear. How comfortable is it bending or kneeling down was one of my questions and possible pics. Those were my questions. I was/am not being critical of the pack
