  • Are eggs healthy or not? This video is your one stop shop for everything you need to know about eggs. More specifically eggs and overall health. So often i get asked by subscribers and clients alike - How many eggs should i eat a day ?
    I feel that this is another problem that is super India-specific. Nowhere else in the world will you see people freaking out so much about how many eggs you can eat in a day and similar topics.
    Firstly, it should be noted that eggs are not bad for you. In fact for both men and women, they SHOULD be crucial parts of a daily diet. Moreover for India, Sunday ho ya Monday, roz khao ande should be a national slogan! We're some of the unhealthiest people in the world and a lot of that is thanks to the lack of protein in our diets. Eggs are easily the best food for bodybuilding AND fat loss. Yes, i said fat loss. Remember fat loss comes from a combination of high protein diets and exercise. The best food source when it comes to high protein diet is an EGG, WITH the EGG YOLK. So if you ever wondered whether you should only stick to egg whites, i highly suggest you press the play button!     Just recently became an eggtarian. You just can't get sufficient amount of protein being a vegetarian and im happy that I realize this sooner. I was the kind of guy who used to start feeling pukish just from the smell of eggs but i adapted this change after exploring more and more on its pros.

      Same, i was a pure vegetarian. But i started eating eggs after i started with the regular workout. Vegetarian diet is just not enough.
      Although eating egg yolk is kinda hard for me. But i can easily eat the egg whites since it is tasteless and odourless.

      You better workout twice a day if you are taking that many number. Vince gironda has once mentioned that 36 eggs is as good as taking steroids but all that is valid if you workout hard enough twice a day else its just too many unused calories proving to be counterproductive.

    While working out with my own bodyweight, I was having 5 eggs a day and two yolks. I got to see the changes and results within two weeks (without the whey protein supplements). That's because I was preparing my body to lift artificial weights before hitting the gym. I always guide people about HDL LDL and let them know about the benefits of eggs. In my opinion they're the superfood everyone needs. Great video

    I recently discovered this video and thanku for making this. I've showed this to many who say that eating these many eggs will do this or that. I consume 15-16 eggs whites in a day and log nazar lagate hai everytime.

    ive been eating 4-6 eggs a day for months, thought about adding some more to my diet and saw how pretty much every outlet was saying a maximum of 4 eggs a *_week_* 😭 but i also work out so its not like im an office worker just racking up cholesterol and im at my physical best shape so far

    Main takeaway on dietary cholesterol is that it basically does not affect blood cholesterol in any way. These studies he referenced went over months, god knows how a person's activity levels changed over months they were participating, how their stress was. Correlation is not causation. HDL levels would typically go us with any monounsaturated fat, eggs have a lot of it, and if you eat 6 of them, well yeah. But I doubt egg's cholesterol is doing anything to HDL either.
    Cholesterol is not essential nutrient. If you eat extra, your body will convert. If you don't eat enough, your body will make.

    i eat 8-12 full eggs everyday and haven't experienced any problem yet (no factual evidence) . my body adapted to eggs slowly and gradually as i was complete vegan .

    lots of people who are against eggs are vegans. You can argue with them till the cows come home but they still wont listen to the truth. Ive been eating em nearly every day for decades. Im in my 60s and my cholesterol is fine. 4.6 to be precise. Keep up the good work

      But what is your height and weight? I'm curious cause I would like to compare to my father he also eats a lot of eggs. With a little research you can find out the tests the doctors give you are not accurate. Overall health is better than just thinking this one number is what's keeping you alive.

    LDL-c doesn't clog the arteries, man. Clogging of arteries takes place when body repair the wall of arteries which gets damaged due to inflammation by using cholesterol. LDL-c being the transporter, help in repair process by bringing tthe cholesterol in the repair site. Hence, main reason for the clogging is inflation and we name LDL as bad cholesterol. Do some studies to refine your knowledge in this regard. If you are offended, please forgive me.

    I do 5 days a week weight training and eat 7 whole eggs a day. 2 in breakfast and 5 before sleep. It perfectly fits in my macro calculations and calorie intake. I'm underweight and trying to gain muscle, is it good to have that much eggs?

    Cholestrol does not ``clog'' arteries...damage in arteries are temporarily patched using LDL cholestrol, while in meantime the damage is repaired using Vit C

    There are lot of other things you can eat to get protein... Indian culture, enviorment and weather is totally different... We have so many sources of proteins like pulses and all. ,, we are not european or western people who don't have many option of protein....

Great effort and the very intention behind starting the Channel to break fitness myths that exist in an Indian society is super cool. Let me ask my question now, would you advise someone who is aiming for a weight loss and hits the gym everyday to consume 2 to 3 whole eggs in a day ? Will he or she still be able to achieve a weight loss as expected if they follow your prescribed workouts for beginners.

    i just want to clear my doubts please help me regarding the same
    1) I eat poultry farm eggs but lot of people tells me that they are unhealthy & have side effects! should I stop consuming them?
    2) I want to loose 5-6kg weight should I eat Yolks?
    3) Which form of egg is most beneficial ? boiled , omelet , raw , other ??

    Thank you for the great explanation video! How about around 6-7 eggs a day? I'm only have workout in three days at weekend. Is it good to consume that quantity in no workout day?

    I eat 8 eggs every day from so many years. 2 eggs in 4 parts.....
    But I never feel any problem. I,m regular jymer from last 10+ years.

    im told eggs dramatically increase growth and spread of prostate cancer due to the choline. i have this cancer so i can not take any eggs to be on the safe side

    Bro i am having 16 whole boiled egg in a day without having problem. But i workout for atleast 1:30 hr every morning... Jut want to know does this routine make me any kind of unhealthy in future... Plz reply bro plz

    This is impressive +BeerBiceps! Upping my eggs intake :) A small doubt though. We also read in media of how hens are overfed on antibiotics and other meds, dangers of factory hatching etc. How does this affect the quality of eggs we consume? Any research on the cholesterol/health impact in the long run?

      +Jabal Shah glad you liked it Jabal! To be honest, in 2016, unfortunately you can't overdo it with any protein source. I personally keep changing it up just to be safe. but the good news for indians is that in India, this whole injecting situation is supposedly not as bad as it is abroad! should make a video on this topic soon :)
