    Good video providing some vegetarian protein alternatives. However, animal-based protein like milk and eggs have whole range of ammino acids and are of superior quality. It is definitely required to get protein from wide range of sources both plant and animal based (non-meat) for vegetarians. Some tips:
    1. One can choose good quality eggs (free range hens and not caged/industrial farming-based eggs) that comes at a higher price.
    2. One can also look for unflavored, non-sweet whey protein of good quality which has no to minimal preservatives.
    3. Tofu is another great vegetarian protein source.

      Right answer. In many plant based protein does not have main amino acids, so we should have combination like green moong, chickpeas and horsegram to get complete protein, but we have to take like 50-70gram (chickpeaks+greenmoong+horsegram) of sprouted

    You left out the most important part about protein. The amino acid profile. Lentils have one of the worst amino acid profiles and protien absorption rates. In simple words, Protein from lentils is like an Omni van, and protein from egg, Milk or milk products, meat is like a Ferrari.
    The amount of protein absorbed from PLANT based foods is significantly low and way more calories would be consumed, while not matching the Essential amino acid profiles.
    Guys please do your own research no matter what video you see, even after reading what I'm saying, confirm it again before believing it. Have a good day.

      It's not just the amino acids. But the other nutrition and the way the food is consumed matters. Just the grams or bioavailability doesn't matter but the other nutrients in it matter too. Also I've tried each of the protien sources mentioned above and believe me the benifits received are simply unbelievable. I lost nearly 30 kg, built new muscle mass and though I'm not as fit as I was at that time but this information is 100 cent correct. I tried and them am telling you. Also ha the thing of it being a better source of protien than egg might be debatable but the fact it's an outright lie or it's misinformed is an outright lie.

    I have always appreciated your content. As a doctor and poultry science expert ,i will add few points that you missed. Digestibillity of pulses is 50-60% i.e only 50 g of protein will be digested out of 100 g protein in pulses..Whereas eggs have 92% digestibility.Also eggs are richer source of essential amino acids than pulses.. Moreover pulses increase incident of gout as 40% protein is indigestible and convers to uric acid .
    Also antibiotic resistance is more because of unregulated over the counter sale of antibiotics and self- prescription.
    Do consider these points for your video.

    • @yashbhatewara5846
      @yashbhatewara5846 Před 7 měsíci +2

      broo from that 25 grams body can only absorb 12.5 grams approx cause its bio availability is only 50% and the rest goes to waste means you are having more calories for lesser amount of protein , Paneer is a better option cause the calorie profile are similar and you'll get more protein from it plus you'll also accept that eating paneer is much easier than eating soya chunks because soya chunk's texture is not at all good

    Good Stuff @FitTuber! The only word of caution that I will give for everyone is that horesgram produces tremendous amount of heat. Greengram has the opposite effect of cooling the body, which works better for certain body types. Hence, bear that in mind when having them. For any heavy lentils like Rajma, chickpea, horsegram, add things like amla (other citric digestives like tomato), tejpatta, hing(astafoetida) and cumin to aid digestion. Lentils are starch-resistant high protein food sources, but need digestive help in they are consumed. Can you also talk about amino acid profile of these plant sources of protein in your next video. Do they have enough lucein, apart from milk which is an animal source of protein. Thank you.
