Just received these motors in the mail yesterday and threw them on my 6s Diatone Roma F35. I had so much fun with those motors, I ruined a brand new battery. I highly recommend these motors for a freestyle rig. 🤘😎👍
I agree, maybe I got lucky but I'm still flying these same motors. Been flying them for almost 1.5 year, have had a lot of nasty crashes, I even broke 2 frames and the motors are still fine. 👌
Nicely done mate 👍 great video!
Alright thank you! 👊🏼
Nice and informative video!
Thanks Alain! 😋
Nice rip man. See you in the next one.
Thanks 👍
Hello sir. Would those motors work on my stock cvatar? Or should i use the stock motors further? Thx
Hi, they will fit if you have the 142mm version. there's also a 120mm version which is a pusher. And has 1404 motors, they will not fit this model. If you want to be sure measure how far apart your motor mounting holes are, it should 12mm x 12mm.
Can I use this on an eachine cvatar 6S quad? the Cvatar uses currently 1507 2400KV
I'd say yes, the 2700kv version is perfect for 6s. Just to be sure check your mounting pattern, t-motor f1507 need 4 hole, 9mm by 9mm mounting.
have you bought these motors for that cvatar? i burnt my eachine stock motor and I'm thinking about buying these.
@@xchudyx Hi there, i didnt buy any motoros. mine are still alive after a few crashes. but i suggest get good ones as they will power up nicely and give u more control.
Great motors but im having an issue with them getting really warm, can you make a video on you PID filter settings, thanks!
Hi buddy, sure I'll post them below, but my setting might not be right for your set up. Got a vid on it with settings but they changed a bit since then czcams.com/video/ZPn1yOhAGNM/video.html
you can use this vid for bi directional dshot settings.
My auw is 246gr, if you have a heavier build you probably need higher gains ( p and d gain). I'm running betaflight 4.2.6 now (can't remember what I used in the vid😅) Be careful with the filter sliders, start with default settings and slowly move to them to the right ( together) while always checking motor temps after short flights.
So for my current PID settings, this is using the sliders;
Master multiplier: 0.7
pid balance: 1.1
p and d gain: 1
stick response: 1.7
filter sliders at 1.8 ( both)
Hope this helps, good luck with your tuning!
I am running these motors on a heavy 3-inch build with an AUW of 507g, and they are not getting hot. I am a bit skeptical about the quality because I had issues with clips falling off and some motors that were not smooth, but overall they served me well. They are good but not great.
@@mariossofokleous6075 That's good to know, I've been flying them a lot and so far no issues, but I'll keep an eye on that C-clip! My main reason for choosing them is their size/weight ratio.
Will these motors work on my tyro79 with stock esc?
Hi, yes they will fit, they have a 12x12 mounting pattern. According to the t-motor specs, the 3800kv will pull up to 26 amps. Your esc is rated for 20A, so there's a big chance you'll 💥 fry 💥 it. You could try with props with the least amount of pitch like the HQ 3x3x3.
@@SquareOneFPV what if I minimize throttle out put?
@@robertramirez5043 Sure that'll help, the 2700kv version pulls about 23A, that would be a 71% throttle limit from 3800kv. I just looked at your specs again, your esc is rated for 20A continuous, and 25A burst, so maybe it will even be able without a limit, as long as you don't full throttle it al the time. I wish I could tell you for sure, but I can't guarantee anything... good luck 😋👊
Thanks for this video. Now I know they have c-clips instead of screws on the bottom. So I think I will not use these for my latest 3inch build. It's a pain to change the bearings with these c-clips...
You're welcome 👍.
A lot of people including J.Bardwell and roto riot use these same motors for their cinewhoops
Really? Never noticed 😅. Thanks for sharing.
