Very informative installation video. The design is well thought out and the pickup senses can be installed on the bridge plate for 'X' braced tops as shown on the video, or other bracing systems such as 'Falcate' type top bracing system. This is brilliant!
I build acoustic guitars and I am very impressed with the sound quality of the new LR Baggs HiFi Bridge Plate Pickup system. I will be purchasing this pickup when it is available in May 2023 . The LR Baggs HiFi Bridge Plate Pickup System will be loved by acoustic guitar players as this pickup overcoming the quacking issues that can offer be a problem with under saddle piezo pickup systems. This pickup by itself is a great sound!
I have been using the LR Baggs Lyric Microphone in parallel with other type bridge plate piezo pickup systems eg K&K pickup and then connecting to an external two channel preamp with blend and parametric equation control on each channel. The preamp that I use also has a variable phase control feature to align the two pickup systems in phase together. This setup combination produces a great sound being able to use it in a blend format or separately. However, after listening to this video's sound sample I would expected that the LR Baggs Lyric Microphone blended with the LR Baggs HiFi Bridge Plate Pickup System would be better and an excellent combination for a variety acoustic style of sound such as:
Loud Rhythm Playing with a Band
    Flat Picking
    Lead playing
    Finger Style Playing.
For my setup described above I was able to connect (solder) my other pickup onto the LR Baggs Lyric Microphone print board and use the Lyric's stereo jack connector to send both channels to my preamp. I be interested to know whether it is possible to connect (solder) the HiFi 's output to the Lyric's microphone printed board and then link the 9 volt battery connection together. The aim would be to use one 9 volt battery to power both the Lyric microphone and the HiFi pickup system. I think that it would be likely that one 9 volt would provided sufficient power to run both the Lyric and the HiFi pickup system together with no significant draining issues. I understand making these adjustments to the LR Baggs HiFi pickup would void the warranty.
I just see that there is great potential to use the new LR Baggs HiFi Bridge Plate Pickup System by itself, plus hopefully be able to use it with blending pickup combinations that would result in achieving great acoustic guitar sounds that musicians will love .

Caleb, I just finished the install. I was trying to use this video as guidance. The video is good but it is lacking in several areas. Drilling the hole doesn't have to be done with a half inch step drill bit like the one shown here but starting out small and increasing to half inch is best imo. Remember to use masking tape when drilling into the body when increasing the size of a hole for the output jack or you may chip the exterior finish of the guitar. I'm a retired electrician and have many skills but some folks may not. Also, the clear plate of the jig had to be turned around 180° from what is shown so the two sensors could fit on my bridge plate. I understand guitars are constructed differently and your support team is there to be consulted. My guitar is a new Yamaha FG830. Also, there is hardly any room to get my hand far enough back into the lower bout to line up the output jack. A long wooden skewer or straight clothes hanger can help. To tighten the jack nut from the inside is not going to happen unless you have the right tool. I'm not sure what that would be unless it's a very long pair of needlenose pliers but then you'd have to have skinny arms or lots of luck to feel the inside nut with the pliers. The volume/tone control I was hoping to mostly hide but the interior bracing prevented that. It is partially exposed. To tidy up the wires on the inside there's no way to get it to look like in the video. There's no room if an arm is in the soundhole. I had a mirror and flashlight but you can't see. I was able to feel my way to get it to where the wires didn't show. The metal type clamps with sticky tape, there should be a couple more included plus the wires could use an extra 2-3 inches in length. But I have good news! It sounds awesome through my Acoustic A-20 2-channel wedge amp and new Martin strings. It took me about 3 hours from start to restringing, tuning and playing to putting her in the case. $214 worth? The LR Baggs Hifi is 2/3 the price of my guitar but it beats going without.

Very helpful, got 'er done! To my ears, the D and G strings are ever so slightly lower in volume, but not enough where it hampers the over all sound, which is freakin' awesome! Thank you!

I’m kinda confused with lr baggs product line now. Why would you get this over the lyric? Is this replacing the iBeam, and how is the transducer tech different? Is the Anthem still their flagship even though it’s 13 years old?

The mic on the anthem has some people frustrated and for many percussive players, they don’t like it. I would use this before an anthem if I wanted a cheaper option for percussive that still sounds better than an element. I however love my anthem in my Taylor 414ce and would put that in every guitar I own. I have the baggs element VTC in my new Epiphone and I like it too for what it does, but still thinking of doing an anthem instead

For a pin less I’m pretty sure you could just stick the sensors in the correct spot without the jig?

Anybody know if once comfortable with the LR Baggs HiFi you can remove the included tape and instead epoxy them down like man other pickups like K&K to get better marrage to the sound board (think it could be better vs. lossy through the included tape)?
