  • Inspired by the designs of legendary 1920s architect Rosario Candela, 15 Central Park West is an homage to the opulence of old-school luxury apartment buildings in New York. Completed in 2008, the Robert A.M. Stern-designed building cost nearly $1 billion to construct, and has been home to the likes of Sting, Denzel Washington, and Bob Costas.

The building doesn't have laws against knocking apartments into one...that's going to play havoc with the peace and quiet and structure of the building..completely mess it up!

I just realized that I had dinner here last year during my freshman year of college. I was at a trustee dinner for my school and they hosted it here. The wife of the CEO of Goldman Sachs is one of the trustees and took us all out to dinner.

Plaster board!!! Exactly my point. In ten years, the leaks start and everything goes awry. Trump's buildings are the same way. Give me the Dakota, The Beresford, The San Remo, etc Built in grand style and built to last.

I don't care how much money you have. That's just stupid for that place. You can get a beautiful mansion in the suburbs for a year's rent in that dump.

Vulgar, gaudy, pretentious waste of time, space and money. So, you’ve got money to burn and you want to impress your friends. Get new friends and spend your money wisely on other things that need taking care of, like poor people, animals in distress and generally making the world a better place for everyone else. It’s called empathy, and it will make you feel so much better in the long run than massaging your ego.
