  • Out near Silvan Reservoir, 50km east of Melbourne CBD lies this nasty stretch of steep rough road. This climb is BRUTAL beyond belief, due to both the steepness and the loose and rough road surface.
    The next day riding to work on the flat, I nearly bent my cranks I was stomping so hard.

    I have climbed 26% plus but never that wall

      Nice! I struggled with upper body strength and the road surface was also tough. Lots of fun though!

      @@melbournecyclingsegments7510 the bike I have is a trek fx2 there's a wall in the next town over and yes the segment is called beacon Hill Rd close to 30% at certain points and it has a average gradient of 11%
