I haven't been to Bali but I have been to Labuan Bajo, another tourist spot in Flores, Indonesia. 90% of the tourists were obnoxious, self-centered drunkards who had zero respect for the locals' hometown. These people see anywhere they go as their own personal resort.
Anywhere you go, YOU'RE A GUEST. Behave like one.

And then Covid changed everything. We claimed back our cities and had time to rethink mass tourism. Dolphins in Venice, the cleanup of waste in Thailand, nature recovering and local communities connecting again. Let this be the new normal 🙏🏻

Ignorant tourists who damage ancient ruins and sites should be immediately fined thousands of dollars and banned from ever visiting the place again. There should also be guards constantly patrolling the area to make sure no damage has been done to the remains. The amount of tourists entering the place at a time should also be heavily restricted.

Like everything .At the moment you are lowering the cost then more and more people have access to it then the quality drops . In the 80’s an economy ticket to cross the Atlantic (i.e a Paris-NYC) was 5000 French Francs and the minimum wage in France was 2500 FF . Minimum wage is now 1300 € so the equivalent of 2600€ (a little bit less than 3000$) . Some countries who would have had decided to go for high end resort would not have had those issues. The positive thing is that some countries are now trying to go this way.

And guess why: people moving away because they are tired of the herds of tourists and noise. They don't feel 'at home' anymore. Also: too many houses not being available anymore for housing, because they are put out for touristrental on bnb, or otherwise. A very lucrative business for the owner(s) off course..🤔😔

Tourists travelling by plane to get to these places may be paying for chemtrails sprayed from planes. Look up chemtrails - or better still, watch skies daily. Be aware of what is going on.

Solutions to solve the problem of mass tourism:
    1) Ban alcohol
    2) Ban prostitution
    3) Ban Drugs
    4) Introduce dress code (preferably Islamic)
    5) Ban homosexuality
    6) Ban unmarried couples
    7) Put a cap on number of tourists
These measures will seriously reduce the number of tourists visiting these cities. It will automatically reduce housing prices, pollution of all kinds, damage to the cities etc.
