I covered an early demo build of Terror at Oakheart last year, but the full game has been released. It’s by the same developer who created Suffer The Night (and may be set in the same world). You control multiple characters throughout the game and the gameplay can be a little different (Russell in particular has survival horror-esque gameplay with gun-based combat). I've also included a bonus game at the end of the video that unlocks when you complete Terror at Oakheart and links back to Suffer the Night.

I gotta respect Teddy for recreating the Friday the 13th sleeping bag kill, I mean the woodchipper is a classic and all but that just shows how dedicated he is to his craft.

It's entirely possible that they couldn't remove it.
Personally, if by some bizarre turn of fortune/fate that I can somehow even remotely afford both a burial plot and being buried at said plot? I want to be buried with several items which will last a few decades at least, but most importantly they need to be items that will confuse the everliving crap out of the archeologist(s) that stumble upon my burial site:
• A glass mayonnaise jar full of gaming dice, human teeth, and a letter taking credit for the assassination/deactivation of Nancy Pelosi.
• three Guy Fawkes masks and a hand towel with eye holes cut out.
• Seven yards of parachute cord tied together at the ends, with a label reading "in case of emergency, pull cord."
• a fully functional, completely generic desk lamp.
• a wristwatch on either arm, one set to daylight savings time, and the other set to normal time.
• lastly: a large photograph of a fully nude porn starlet, autographed and with the words "best of luck in the afterlife."

This was great! Really played into the classic slasher and horror flick tropes on the 80s. Equal parts Friday the 13th and John Carpenter's The Thing. A killer (no pun intended) soundtrack, too!

A killer is on the loose in Oakheart... residents are advised to paint their walls matte black and use the smallest lightbulbs they can find. The mayor has brought in an emergency shipment of extra flickery ten-watt incandescent bulbs which will be distributed to the town. In the meantime if you have a 60-watt bulb please wrap it in black pantyhose so that it only lights up the ground withing 3 feet of it.

Pretty amazing game and brutal, too, considering the cartoonish visuals. A honest suprise. The sheriff was awesome and the monsters actually reminded me of The Thing more than of Lovecraft's. Probably because these are more fleshy than scaly =) Thanks for playing, ABG. Was fun to watch.
As a martial artist, who always has problems during horror content in a sense that I always think "they would survive if they took mma or bjj lessons" i was hoping for a better performance by Ethan at 57:29 but I guess Teddy is Jason Voorhees level athletic/strong (unnaturally strong)

Mr Big Eye sounds kinda polite for an evil eldritch god.
I like to think that some how she does hurt him greatly but lives and takes her out perhaps even somehow getting that thing out of her.

Even with pixel art it's still brutal, Mutant Teddy (I would like to nickname the monster version of him) just ripped out a victim's entire skin with one tear. It makes me want to be hug by a scary yet protective gentle giant Werewolf
I really like the concept, playing characters without plot armor (except the Sheriff lol)
Looking forward for a sequel. Maybe a whole cult of killer clowns serving another eldritch horror, devouring a whole city and creating a whole apocalypse of tentacle-zombies

This was entertaining to watch, that said I think that combat is a weak point in the game, considering how much of it there is in the later chapters. Fights are really just a matter of mashing dodge/reload against bullet sponge enemies, all of that with 1 axis movement. Player/enemy HP should be scaled down, or an alternative such as increasing weapon damage while making spare ammo limited/lootable and encouraging players to use melee when practical.

I need help finding one of Alpha Beta Gamer's games. I think this would've been uploaded at least 2 years ago or more.
Here are some key details if anyone could help me:
It was about his character being in a virtual reality with another person or AI and the texting conversation had the AOL or AIM chat sound. There was a sunset and you chatted with this figure.
You went to two or three different places with this figure before you were in a dark room where it said "don't leave" in what looks like almost a bar sign and a computer in the room.
I genuinely can't remember this or find the picture of "don't leave" that I have saved and I deactived my fb and I can't find the picture anymore which is an extra struggle.
If anyone remembers anything or the name please let me know.

Random community question… I’m trying to get into writing via the avenue of copy writing/copy editing… I’d love to do some free script supervision for small developers for games like this, basically giving helpful suggestions to improve dialogue and pinpoint grammatical & spelling errors in order to lend more immersiveness to these already wonderful games. If there’s anyone here who could use my help or knows of a good subreddit I could ask around on I’d really appreciate it!!
