    Hi, There is a drain plug on water pump. No need to disconnect the pipes. :-)

  • @bronsinterieur
    @bronsinterieur Před 2 lety

    Did the exact same procedure, like you showed. Had huge problems afterwards with the engine overheating. Turns out i had to vent the system multiple times, because there was so much air in the radiator.... Further on nice vids brother

    • @Moonfleet41
      @Moonfleet41  Před 2 lety +1

      Yeah, that's pretty common to many bikes, even my Hayabusa ! far too many places for air to get trapped for you to just "top it up".. if you look up the overall quantity needed in the manual, and measure what you put in, you'll be able to see how much you still have to feed in when it overflows... just run the engine with the cap off and the air should bubble out once the system starts circulating.!

    Nicely done, Del. Those old plugs sure have seen better days! Not an easy item to change out on the Husky either it seems. After watching this video, I realized I’ve never changed the coolant on my Fatboy! 🙄
    Hope you and Penny are doing well. Stay safe… 🏍👍🏍

    • @Moonfleet41
      @Moonfleet41  Před 2 lety +1

      Morning Gary, good job you don't have to change coolant on the FatBoy, that would mean leaving a supply of it in the garage and you know how the MIL gets stroppy after a couple of pints of the green stuff! Thanks for asking, we're both getting there and appreciate you thinking of us, have a great week both, D&Px

      Totally struck out on finding anything that wasn't ridiculous money.. Nothing from YSS, or any other off the shelf company, so would have had to have something custom made and just don't have the budget for that. It's a Sachs unit, in perfectly good condition so it'll have to remain.!

      @@Moonfleet41 Lol I know the feeling well Del. Had glasses for a couple of years now. It's hard to get used to the fact that I'm totally blind without them and having to rely on them for everything. Just fitted orange bulbs and smoked glass lenses on front indicators. The rear ones have built in stop and tail lights which tidies up the rear end nicely on the new Street Bob. Waiting for some black tubes to fit over the chrome top fork legs as it's black gaiters fitted and the bottom fork legs are black. Lots of other goodies coming. Can't wait for spring! 🇸🇪🇬🇧😊👋🏻
