Hey Bruv …. As always love the video and always informative.. Can I ask, Are you born and raised in the UK? Or is English your first language? Ive always trying to distinguish which british accent you have. Im assuming is a modern RP accent right?
Yes, I was born and raised near London. My accent is similar to modern RP.
Bro Ed ,May you please send me the link in which you taught how to pronounce BROADCASTING.
By the way ,why is it that there is no dictionary in which BROADCASTING is pronounced the way you taught us ??
I will be happy if I hear from you on this disturbing matter .Thank you .
Sorry, I can't remember which video I taught the pronunciation of 'broadcasting' but I think you are referring to assimilation. Assimilation isn't shown in dictionaries because it's a feature of connected speech. Here is a link to my video on assimilation: czcams.com/video/8bi30u0qysc/video.htmlsi=QNMSWhN2rlihLm9y
why do I definitely hear /ˈɡer.ɑːʒ/, not /ˈɡær.ɑːʒ/, etc.. do you pronounce it closer to the sound /e/? Am I wrong?
