  • G'day Legends, This week I try a new technique chasing snapper on the troll and I end up getting my lure bitten in half!! It's an awesome couple of sessions and a technique that I'll be definitely trying again in the near future!

      Threadies aren't real low in numbers in the river. The thing to be careful with is if you get them from too deep they suffer very badly from barotrauma so won't release well. They also get really knocked up easily and pretty much work themselves to death. Sadly they are well documented as being tough to release full stop.

      @MYeahman Před 4 lety +3

      I troll them up down here on the nsw south coast from 10m to 3m, start shallow with the low light and move out to the deeper stuff adjusting lure as you go. Ill troll divers to 4 metres targeting anything from 6m and 8m deep divers from the deep stuff
      Basically 2m from the bottom should keep you clear from the bricks and give you access to the fish, don't be surprised if they come up higher to smash a moving bait and don't hesitate to run shallow.... 3 to 5m in low light will land you some great fish.

    Change out the S/S bolts, washers and screws for 316 Marine grade S/S, you wont get any more rust staining on the deck, it would be a cheap Fix.

      Fareed Uddin as slow as I could go mate, about 3km/hr

    • @fareeduddin5854
      @fareeduddin5854 Před 4 lety

      @@SammyHitzkeFishing great we usually don't even get a bite if we go that slow over here, groupers, snappers and even emperors when caught are usually at speeds over 5.
