The drop in performance over the past few weeks is staggering, for me this all started at Rugby Park with that daft Barisic moment leading to their penalty, ever since then we've been conceeding such amateur goals and not learned a single lesson from them. The other worry is just how physically weak our team is, not a single player in our team can physically impose themselves during a match, today Lawrence's attempted tackle was an embarassment and i've lost count at how many times Dessers, Goldson, Tav & Souttar get bounced off the ball by smaller opponents. As soon as I seen Lundstrum and Dowell in the midfield I knew we were in trouble, both don't have the legs to track back on the counter and like to wander out of position....Sterling would have been a better choice in there. Clement has been a revelation since joining and has helped us to forgot the Beale disaster but I feel lately he's been picking the wrong team with guys like Scott Wright who are never going to offer anything against the likes of Benfica, Celtic etc. We've got Matondo who's hit a bit of form and he's sitting on the bench while Fabio Silva offers nothing on the park.

I will back the manager fully for next season, but he has to show power and swing the axe in our next game. For the rest of season put Sterling at RB, Balogun with Souttar and Yfeko or Ridvan at LB. Have Lundstram and a youth player, if Dio isn't back, Sima RW, Rabbi LW and a couple of youth strikers promoted for upfront. The old guard and serial bottlers have to be taken out of this team. Get rebuild work for next season in early. Get more of the youths in. Eager to impress, listen and no fear. We might as well find out which young players can handle the competitive pressure well, ahead of next season. They won't do any worse than many of this lot.

The drop in performance over the past few weeks is staggering, for me this all started at Rugby Park with that daft Barisic moment leading to their penalty, ever since then we've been conceeding such amateur goals and not learned a single lesson from them. The other worry is just how physically weak our team is, not a single player in our team can physically impose themselves during a match, today Lawrence's attempted tackle was an embarassment and i've lost count at how many times Dessers, Goldson, Tav & Souttar get bounced off the ball by smaller opponents. As soon as I seen Lundstrum and Dowell in the midfield I knew we were in trouble, both don't have the legs to track back on the counter and like to wander out of position....Sterling would have been a better choice in there.
Clement has been a revelation since joining and has helped us to forgot the Beale disaster but I feel lately he's been picking the wrong team with guys like Scott Wright who are never going to offer anything against the likes of Benfica, Celtic etc. We've got Matondo who's hit a bit of form and he's sitting on the bench while Fabio Silva offers nothing on the park.

I will back the manager fully for next season, but he has to show power and swing the axe in our next game. For the rest of season put Sterling at RB, Balogun with Souttar and Yfeko or Ridvan at LB. Have Lundstram and a youth player, if Dio isn't back, Sima RW, Rabbi LW and a couple of youth strikers promoted for upfront. The old guard and serial bottlers have to be taken out of this team. Get rebuild work for next season in early. Get more of the youths in. Eager to impress, listen and no fear. We might as well find out which young players can handle the competitive pressure well, ahead of next season. They won't do any worse than many of this lot.
