    I think Diomande would be even better if we could get Raskin in next to him or Sterling. According to reports Lundstram has signed a deal along with Borna for Trabzonspor. We should play guys that will be here next season and who are committed. Raskin is talented and we spent money on him, we don't want to lose value. It would be smart to involve him.

    • @lewisreed3792

      but Raskin isn't inform, thats the problem. AND whatever you say about Lundstram you cant ever say he isnt committed and giving 100%. He has played nearly EVERY match under Clement. Was the only one fit every week, and carried the midfield for a liong time. He is not a creative midfielder, but he is always in space to carry the ball forward, gets the defence out of pressure, and gives us 'bite' in midfield to use the popular euphemism in Scottish football.
      Whatever he goes on to do elsewhere he came on a free transfer and gives everything for the jersey - and that wont change for the next 5 games. Nor is he the biggest problem we face in the summer. If we lose Butland we will struggle to replace him [again he cost nothing]. The idea of letting TAV go for ÂŁ4million is INSANE. stick him at Right Midfield like we did with Ricksen, and sign a proper right back, or make Sterling our number one for that role. and we can spend the money on a top quality striker like Mjovsky or Shankland. I like Sima but he is starting to look as injury prone as the inimitable Roofe. Either way we have to get it RIGHT this summer.

    • @rangersnut
      @rangersnut Pƙed 20 dny

      @@user-ly5qi9zb5t perhaps the difficulty is building Raskin back up after the injury he had. Raskin is younger, has fresh legs and more pace. He can move the ball just as well, if not better when on his game. I don't understand the thinking with him. We all know players that don't play, can be sold but not for anywhere near the value we should get. The only other unknown is we don't know his attitude behind closed doors. However he was excited and made good comments about Clement just before he arrived. It all feels weird, because Lundstram has played too many. Rotation is needed to keep everyone fresh and sharp. I think this is the problem for Clement, the "puzzle." I think he wants a squad of quality guys that, can stay relatively injury free, and rotate and push them to the next level, but he has inherited many that can't live with his demands. Also some of the old faces have just been here too long.

    Blows my mind how anyone can still disrespect dessers. I am now of the opinion like butland, dessers might actually be too good for Scottish football and before the idiots jump on and say no one is too good for the great Glasgow rangers. Open your eye we are a average team in a very poor league.
    The problem with rangers is we don’t have any technical creative players in midfield. Cantwell is our most creative midfielder and he’s very inconsistent, he very rarely takes on players to open space he just always looks for a pass. If we have maybe two more consistent creative midfielders dessers would be on 40 goals. Also hate how tav takes the pens a striker should be taking them, dessers took a pen at start of season and slotted it right in the corner, if he was on pens that’s another 10 easy goals to his total. Get off dessers he’s brilliant 🔮âšȘïžđŸ””

      Idiots jump in O Dear sorry old pal. Your waffling only thing i will give you is i wouldn't be binning him next season we know what we have with Dessers But Bottom lime his mosses are the reason we are not sitting top of the league he puts away 1 of the 5 chances 1st half at dingwall that's a diffrent game. Thats the fact s And 14 goals in the league is the very Reason he s playing in Scotland

    • @rangersnut
      @rangersnut Pƙed 21 dnem +2

      Hagi has the technical ability to open up space. I hope things can be sorted with him and he can do well under Clement. I like Cantwell as well. The issue is our central midfielders are not seeing passes to give service to whoever is upfront. I also think we need our central mids to bring goals as well. Dessers league goal tally isn't enough. Though he doesn't hide and gives his best. I agree with Stevie though, we need better. The good news is Danilo will do well, and is a real talent. We also should bring another striker in. Rotation will keep them fresh and firing. That's for next season though. Right now Dessers is all we have.

      I wish we had a Coisty, Boyd or Negri type striker. I don't care about hard work. Goals win games. I like strikers that appear they are doing nothing, but always come alive in and around the box regularly and get the winning goals, regularly as well. There is art to what they do, they seem like they aren't in the game and defenders switch off and then they pounce. I grew up watching guys like Inzaghi as well doing that. We need that.

    The reality is we need to beat Celtic at Parkhead and they need to drop points somewhere. It is highly unlikely we are winning the league, however the guys being put out need to perform better and try with all they can, incase that chance opens up. As a fan I don't feel I am seeing that fight and desire overall in the team. We are starting games very meekly. I can forgive alot, win or lose, but I can't respect guys not fighting and giving their all. Celtic are not paying well either and will have their wobble. We have to be ready and start really showing up. Glad we won and got 3 points, but performances like that are not good enough. Clement has been dealt a hard hand with too many in this side. It's the same ones with the same patterns under different managers.

    Two points, if we have to lose Butland, we should demand at least 25 mill. What are the teams that want him, going to do. Not buy him??? Good! Also, they say Cryiel's stats are better than Shankland's, but it is hard to see it, sometimes. Prove them wrong, Cyriel, that is the thing to do. Score at Parkhead. Don't overthink it. Just react.

    Give Dessers a break, 20 goals, not played every game, poor inconsistent service, no pens etc
    Here's my take on the squad for next year, who stays:
    Butland - no brainer
    Tav - maybe but would take decent offer
    Souttar - for right side & scottish
    Ridvan - young with fight
    Diamonde - defo, young & best player
    Cantwell - creative
    Sterling - right age, power, attitude etc
    Sima - as above
    Dessers
    Danilo
    McAusland - young, needs to beef up
    Cortes - young looked decent
    The rest could go for me

    And most of those goals have either hit off him, been deflected, or been a non game winning goal. To say having him upfront has not been our major fault in conceding this title is just silly. A competent striker up front and we win this league.
    That off ball work has the turning time of the Arc Royal. Nowhere near good enough for Rangers, people's standards have slipped so far.
    Stevie is exactly right - where would we have been if we had said competent striker. From the way some people are talking you'd think we were ten points clear. We have bottled it once again, not all his fault, but majorly culpable.
    And that isn't a big moment goal; even he couldn't manage to miss that as it hits in off him. We win that game through our keeper being amazing and the other one being absolutely hopeless.
