The SPL needs to introduce a youth development month where all teams in the league have to start, five under 21 year olds in their team, for the same matches. With extra subs allowed. Young players can be loaned from large clubs to clubs with less youngsters for this month. This would stage young Scottish talent. It would mean manager had to comply. There would be no disadvantage to any team as they would all do it at the same time. Scouts from all over would be invited to these games.

Bailey Rice looks very good. I would have done an Advocaat and built the team around him. Cole Mckinnon as well. I also would like to see Lovelace and Ishaka make the step up. If we don't have big money, it would be better to promote our own where possible and make some money as well. The cukture of signinfs and promoting needs to change. I also want to see more Scottish players signed. Kai Fotheringham, David Watson, Lennon Miller, Connor Barron. If Leon King isn't making the breakthrough, perhaps a loan next season to help him progress, would be of benefit. Lowry as well, could do with another loan ifbhe doesn't get a chance with the first team under Clement. Though I would like to see Lowry play out on the left for us. He would be better than Silva.

We need to somehow get the academy boys and B team ready for first team football because as it stands they’re all miles off it.. Would help us out big time financially if we could start to produce through our own club🇬🇧

Agreed. Their needs to be a B league and B teams allowed for top flight sides. We also need to change our culture as a club and as fans. In places like Denmark and Holland, they will back and play guys at 18 and 19 in their first team. We wait until it is too late and they don't get the experience to become top players as they are too sheltered. At 18 and 19 they are young men. We also need to be prepared to back and encourage then, even when they make mistakes. Mcausland has had some great moments this season. He has had a few dips, but that is natural. I think that lad will really smash it for us next season out on the RW at least as a good rotation option or sub.

@@rangersnut agreed pal lots of reform needed in different departments of the club and fixing our academy should be just as important as fixing the first team problems imo. If the young lads are not developing or playing enough in our league we should do better in loaning them out overseas or at least make sure they’ll be constant starters in other leagues/teams in Scotland

Best 2 players I’ve seen is Alex Lowry and Bailey Rice for some reason Alex has stalled he doesn’t look any fitter or more physical since his debut , Bailey has stalled this season but I blame the club as the game programme was not conducive for player development

Lowry has had a hard time with injury, then the reported loss of his mother. I Hope he makes it with us. He looks like he needs to build himself up a bit. Rice, is young enough to still make it.

Rice only signed with Rangers because he was proposed game time. That ended when Beale left. The lad will want away soon, same with Lovelace.

@@BillyMcMorranI doubt a youth player was proposed as certain amount of game time in the first team. Clement will promote them if am sure of they dig in and show the right attitude. They are too young to write off for us.

@@BillyMcMorran Were you there when the aforementioned promise was made? If not you don't know that. I don't believe we would be promising anything like that. There was no mention anywhere from the press he was promised either. He is 17 years old. He is still young enough to achieve his Rangers dream. I don't believe either party will be unhappy or panicking over how he is doing.

Hopefully we get a special talent through soon, we need one of our own. We havent had a special one of our own since barry Ferguson or shagger, we shouldn't have to wait yrs and yrs for a youth player to come through of that level. Sure weve had a few players, hutton for example and lewis McCloud but the likes young mcausland have done ok but are no where near the level of a ferguson or a durrant for example. Id have thought wed be able to churn a player of that ilk out every few years as we have some of the best talent in the uk. Maybe its because we cant afford to drop points or lose a cup they stagnate?

The Old Firm must knock heads together and strongly pursue the entry of their B teams into the SPFL. It can also only be of benefit to the Scotland international team.
It will also help the lower league teams financially as the attendances at their games will surely increase. It's a win win situation for everyone involved in Scottish Football.
