I saw this guy at Ozfest in like 2002 maybe. Never heard of him. He is playing an absolutely screaming solo and throws the guitar down. The strings are just ringing out with deafening feedback. He pulls out a six pack of budweiser and slams a beer. He tosses one or two out into the crowd. He slams another. He tosses another one or two out. Guitar is still laying there just screaming. He picks it up and keeps soloing. The most goddamn rock and roll thing i have ever witnessed.

Your ear is your best teacher. Play, play, play, play, and play until it sounds good to your ear. I'll never forget when I got my first electric guitar back in 83 and I was trying to make any semblance of good sound coming out of it and getting nowhere. In frustration, I hit the strings hard and accidently hit an A power chord. It sounded powerful and amazing. Hitting that chord was the start of it all and my ear taught me so many chords that I didn't know the name of until many years later. 38 years later, I am still learning something almost daily. Such respect I have
