Yeah I'm done too. Met the band in 1999. Noticed over the years lots of dodgy stuff that Clown and Corey were doing, albeit GRADUALLY. Those 2 seemed to be in control from the beginning. They broke many promises over the years. But the last few years are beyond the pale. Ever since the firing of Joey...he was my favourite member. And HOW they did it. And the way they treated Chris...the manager of the band saying he was not in the band, not "a shareholder or owner", but "an employee" ... that is disgusting. And now...Craig...the always loyal silent one. Left for "personal reasons." Maybe. But Chris. Look what Chris found out! He took ages to speak out...but he eventually did last year. I hope Craig does too and gives us his perspective...but given his silent nature it may never come. This band said from the beginning if it wasn't the original 9, it wasn't Slipknot. They obviously were lying. I still have love for Corey for many reasons, especially after what he disclosed in the last few years (child sexual abuse, like Chester suffered). But Clown can go **** himself. He always was a business minded weirdo douche in a lot of ways. Fuck Shawn Crahan.

What's Frank Bello bellyaching on MTV (non) airplay of Anthrax footage and saying MTV never played their videos for? That band had SO MANY videos on rhe air that I got burned out on that band & got more & more sick of watching or even of listening to them. There was a big, long, chunky period in which you couldn't put on the channel without Anthrax on the tv screen. They even jumped on the metal/rap fusion with the Public Enemy blended w metal for "Bring The Noise". & If not THAT., the outcry for the Indians by Joey Beladonna got way overplayed so much that Iwill never again see an Indian Chief Head Dress on ANYONE without seeing the singers face inside of it, prancing around on the stage following the Scott Ian chant "WAR DANCE!", let alone the countless other videos that were made AFTER that voideo over the years until they stopped airing music videos altogether. If it hadn't been for MTV's excessive Anthrax airplay, myself & millions of other music fans would barely ever heard of the band...if at all. Admit it Bello, your band faded bc you goiys never wrote, played, or contributed to the world any more good, worthy of top level recognition music after while. It just stopped working for you guys all around because you ran out of new, appealing music to keep us interested.¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ....TRUTH.

BULLSHIT, I played the whole of the Master of Puppets album in highschool. I borrowed a couple of tabulature books from my guitar class friends and within days I was playing it far beyond what they could. As someone who's written a few Wikipedia articles, I can tell you when Wikipedia is operating as it should, most of these mistakes actually come from bad journalism. I had an experience where it was widely reported that a particular band was from Brooklyn, but after contacting the band themselves, they told me that wasn't true. Thing is, Wikipedia should only be a mirror for information that's already a matter of public record and not include 'new' information that is unsourced. This creates a problem - if all the sources are false, then ostensibly you can expect the Wikipedia article to contain false information until something reported in public corrects it and it makes its way through to Wikipedia. However, when Wikipedia is not operating as it should, it's just people making shit up. And, well, we wouldn't have this brilliant series of videos without a decent level of Wikipedia jank....
