Jet boat Salmon River in Idaho, USA. This is from below Black Creek rapid to Buckskin Bill's, flow was around 18K CFS White Bird. I first ran this stretch with a friend who also knew almost nothing about boating or this river. Push through the terror!

How do you know to cut at crucial times. I have a lot of interest thanks

In a strict sense, there is approximately no "crucial" cutting in this video. When I'm not obviously avoiding something, then I'm cutting only to smooth out the ride and avoid heavy chop. You'll notice a pattern where I cut the rapid off at the top, then avoid the waves below the rapid.
