  • In this video I compare the features and pros and cons of these two outdoor mini WiFi PTZ IP security cameras from Boavision and Inqmega.
    Boavision on Aliexpress s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_d6K...
    Inqmega on Aliexpress s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_dUl...
    Boavision on Amaxon amzn.to/2RYmWVi
    Inqmega on Amazon amzn.to/3gxN0Oc
    My shop on Amazon: www.amazon.com/shop/securitybros
    Both these cameras records in 1080p and the biggest difference between them is that Inqmega can auto track moving objects which the Boavision can't. However Boavision uses a veri-focal lens instead of a fixed lens like the Ingmega.

    Great high level overview.
    I did a "pro" install of a 5 cam Dahua system recently for some friends.
    Even as a long time IT pro, the learning curve was pretty steep due to the less than stellar documentation.
    If I have to jump through so many hoops, I'm not willing to spend as much for my own system.
    Boavision looks like it might be a good fit for capturing footage of my neighbor's summer rave parties.
    Hey, if you don't want to be on camera, don't screw on my lawn at 3am

    Nice video.
    I bought Boavision 5Mpixel camera. After 1-2 month I started to have problems, they tried to fix it online, but with no success.
    Even it was in the warranty period they first said that I have to pay for the repair, after I told them about warranty they said to not send the camera back, it is not possible to repair it because is out of production.
    Now they are not answering anymore.
    Recommendation: Buy something from your own country where you are covered by consumer rights / warranty (especially when cost 200 or more) .

    Interesting is that both said to use the Sony Sensor but the Boavision is much clearer. I wonder if the Inqmega hold true to a Sony Sensor if you open it up and check the inside. I preferred the Inqmega build quality(solid dome don't move and protect the rotating lower part) since I'm not a fan of the Boavision top dome also rotate which is totally not ideal if you have it outdoor with no covering(very bad for cold weather).

    Hi Chris, enjoy your info on these cams, very helpful. I'm in the market to replace a old X10-Camera that had served me for yrs, died. I been watching and thought I found it with the Boavison Mini you displayed here, but I cannot find the model you have there. The one that I find is a fixed 4 mm lens and not the 3-13mm one I see on the tag in one of your shots. Price is right but has that differencein lens. How will that impack the diff between the too? I also use Blue Iris 5 for all my cams. Thanks for info.. Gary

    Great video! Just found and subscribe to you. I am going to set up a camera network but because of slow internet, it will have to be with an NVR. Would you please tell me have cross compatible are wireless outdoor PTZ or regular cameras are to NVRs? An online company (with expensive as hell) security equipment makes it sound like many are not compat at all (even with onvif). Just wondering if they are saying that so I would buy the whole system from them. NVR would be set up to my main tv so I could switch to it if outside alarm went off. Thanks for this great channel.

    • @Securitybros
      @Securitybros  Před 4 lety

      Hi, yes some features might not work when using ONVIF, like Pan Tilt Zoom for example. So they are correct. It doesn't mean you have to buy whole system from them though. Usually you can always get a video stream but some functions may not work.

      @Securitybros  Před 4 lety

      @nexus-6392 Před 4 lety

      @@Securitybros Hey hi Bros. Minus 20 C would be really great, but here in Montreal sometimes it can go as low as -40 C but it's rare. Most of the time a cold winter day or night is around -30C.
      I checked your other videos and there's one that looks super awesome. The Sunba one. This looks like The Elite of the outdoor cameras. I can buy it for a fair price but it looks hard to install. I will have to drill a hole in the exterior wall. Also I would prefer to fix it on a roof but mount that is included looks like a wall mount only. You did great reviews by the way. Thanks a lot.

    I bought the BOAVISION. It arrived a couple days after the order, so no long delay from China. But, I am returning it. The installation from an iPad went quickly, but the installation on a PC is impossible. The instructions are lengthy, comletx, and poorly written. The spelling and grammar make it difficult to understand what has to be done. Also, they do not work. You get a mini cd with files on it, but no instructions on what files to use. If you are savvy you can try everything, but I was not able to get the pc to find the camera. I called tech support, they were responsive, I was told the files I got were for a mac. I was sent softare for the pc, and it did not find the camera either.
    It is amazing how fast the installation went for the iphone, but how difficult and complex the procedures are for a pc. Based on the difficulties with the installation I would not recommend this device to anyone.

      Hi, I understand it can be difficult and complex at first when dealing with IP cameras. There is a learning curve for sure. But when you know how to do it, its really easy to set up a camera like the Boavision. You can actually use that camera with any third party software that supports ONVIF. You can also access the camera in your web browser by just typing the IP address.
