Installed it myself without any issues. The wifi signal is great even czcams.com/users/postUgkxE_D_sddGAdiVUKp7PkkmyxO7bRtgqmk5 when the router is located far away. I really enjoy the night vision feature that allows me to see clearly any activity near our house (mostly cars and wild animals). The motion detection is helpful to me as well to monitor what happens on our front.

Hey man. I really respect you how you make these videos. Top honest reviews you got here. I have a question if you don't mind answering. I am looking for a doom type camera which has a good lens. It has to be 5 MP or higher and should have 360 plus any zoom above 4x. It's for outdoor. The night vision should also be good. Maybe 50 meters or so. The frames should also be good. Maybe 30 or above. 2k or 4k should be good. Wifi is not that necessary. Any recommendation? Thank you.

It can be a cost saver too if you have the right location to mount it. It can easily replace several fixed cams. And the zoom means not having to agonize over getting exactly the right lens, or getting called out to relocate/reaim.
And it kicks the snot out of Ubiquiti's new ptz cam.
If Chris ever gets a chance to evaluate one of those, I predict it will not be a glowing review.
@@Zomby_Woof I have one on my garage with 20x optical zoom. Diff brand but I love it. Auto tacking as well. I can pan left, right, up, down and set cruise presets.
I see there are many cameras you have tested. I am looking for an indoor camera, but I cannot seem to find a camera with good reviews. Most people complain about cameras disconnecting from WiFi or that the app isn’t working properly or is not alerting them and so on. If you needed an indoor camera that you can access when you are away, that also allows you to communicate with the person near the camera, which camera would you get? Thank you in advance
I am looking for the security camera without any cloud subscription, I would like to have an email or notification when the motion detection is on, or be able to record live and have the feed stored on your phone. Obviously all new cameras you must have some kinda subscription to have those functionalities, which sucks.

Just bought the Night OWL wnvr wnip2 wireless cameras, and I had to install one upside-down and one sideways. After getting off with Night Owl there is no option to flip the cameras orientation while viewing.
Any ideas for outdoor Poe cameras that support RTSP?

Great info. My questions is can you connect these cameras to any hard drive? I'm using a Wisenet system but the cameras are not that good. I would like to upgrade one of my cameras.
If the camera supports onvif or rtsp you should be able to connect to to wisenet

I'm looking for the best camera to satisfy my requirements.
I spend half a year away from my house, so at that time the camera would be placed outside. But in the other half of the year the camera would be used indoors, as I am already living in my house again.
So, I'm looking for a camera to use indoors and outdoors, that has a good night image quality, works by WIFI and is able to send me instant alerts as soon as it detects people.
Any recommendation?
-Imilab EC2 is a good option (global version IP66 - ~79$ with GETWAY) or it is a old model and you recommend another?
-Any EZVIZ????!

Hi, does it need to be battery powered? If not, sure Ezviz is good, I tested the C3N which is good for its price. You also have Imou which have some decent WiFi cameras.

Yes, the battery is a good option for me, but if I don't have it and I have more advantages without it, I prefer not to use the battery.
Allow me to ask like this:
1- best camera WITH battery for what I mentioned earlier?
1.1- Imilab EC2 global version is a good option, or you recommend another?
2- best camera WITHOUT battery for what I said earlier?
NOTE: price till maximum 90$ (or litle more)

can you help me out with selecting some camera for my needs please? if i don't really need PTZ, but i would want an IP camera(preferably with WiFi) that i can use through a web interface and my smartphone, and also be able to set it up to record to a DVR or remote HDD/external storage/cloud, and the most important thing is image quality and video compression quality and also night vision, which budget camera do you recommend, which one do you think is also the most reliable one(harsh weather (rain/snow/ice) resistant, UV and higher temperature resistant)?
for example: why should i buy the Ezviz C3N bullet camera instead of the Misecu 5MP PTZ, when the Misecu looks like it has better image, PTZ, and is cheaper?

It's very hard to say but if you looking for a reliable camera in harsh weather I don't think Misecu is a good option since build quality isn't the best. Some budget brands with good quality are Ezviz, Reolink, Imou..etc.

Best is probably to use same brand as the cameras but for a generic I'm not sure but make sure it support ONVIF if you are going to use different brand cameras.

We also sell IP security cameras and wonder how it would compare to the other brands.
Choosing a camera on the fact it uses a black box app is bad form. You should choose it on how well it works RTSP.
He pretty much did. He has made a video on all of the cameras and his picks to me were obvious after watching several of his videos.

Any camera with WiFi is automatically disqualified from the competition for best camera. Ethernet, preferably with PoE is the way to go.

The biggest problem with youtube is that anyone can post videos claiming to be experts on anything, and most of these people are idiots.
@@MAGAMAN the problem with battery powered devices is that the batteries have a tendency to run out when you least expect it or when you need them most. And anything wireless creates all kinds of issues, including but not limited to reliability and privacy. Those are undeniable facts.

The "5 MEGAPIXEL" budget cam is NOT under 40 buk.. but rather over 55..
Update: not a branded cam, tho it clearly says "MISECU".. No human detection..kinda has its own life.. motions detection has a thing for my sofa some times.. and some times my cat.. only 70% chance of HUMAN detection up close..some times it cant "detect" trough my 2.5x2m windows of a distance 3m....... seems like it needs serious update.. and top of the one i got the first day... overall mechanics it okay, but original price or even the "updatet" prices is not correct.. to make it short, it needs a new firmware..

I have an LTS system. If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't buy this product at all. This is based on their garbage they have to use the product to view you home when you're out. The original app wasn't all that great. Upon taking an update for the app on my iPhone they totally changed the interface and everything else. I call them up and get referred to a local installer who takes forever to call back. Then he downloads their app an doesn't have a clue either. They supposedly have an option for support by selecting #2 n their phone system. No Support at all. No manual for all the damn changes either. I worked in Silicon Valley for 30 years and if we did what the pathetic people did that wrote their app, we'd be fired from any company. Needless to say I can't suggest LTS for your security. I will not be taking ANY UPDATES for their software ever again either.
