Seller: I got a 1000 dollar bill
Rick: I’ll give u 70 bucks for it
Lmao
Yh because he offered him $5700 you mongole!😂 also rick payed too much no way he made money after costs and overheads!
That’s why rick runs a business and swims in money. You on the other hand flip burgers or a toll attendant.
Hugh Mungus I’ll do 75 not a penny more I’m taking all the risk here
@@evancrosley2857 toll attendent? That was random and oddly specific 😂
Customer brings in a current $100 bill
I'll give you $5.
It's worth $100!
I'll go $6, it's going to sit for a while, and I'm taking all the risk here...
Shmoney fire plus one of my guys might tear into shreds on accident
Lmao these comments always get me
😂 this is amazing

Because they wouldn’t show it if it wasn’t cool!!
This is pretty, pretty, pretty, good
He wants to turn it into cash.....wait a minute
Matt Crouch lmaaaaaooooo
Matt Crouch my question exactly.
Cash inception
crazedmartinez hahah
Casheption.
First mistake is going to a pawn shop. I'm sure there's a collector out there that would give him more
Exactly
Imagine going to a fast food place where they won’t accept anything more than a $20 bill after 10pm and trying to pay with a $1000-bill.
That be something 😂
😂😂🍔🍟
You have to trade for..... 50 $20 bills.
Rick be like the best i can do is $1500
Korigan cards & coins Only 800, he has to make a profit.
Korigan cards & coins 1.50* and hes taking a huge risk here
K O R i G A N sPArtA
Rick didn't call in his buddy, because he probably knew what he was asking was a low price. That's what I think.
Hmm tell you what, let's meet halfway and I'll give you $1,499.

A old guy always says.. He's gonna buy his wife a gift... I have nevaa heard old woman saying the same for her husband! Period
Seller: I have to 2 extremely rare gemstones
Rick: including both gemstones and my experts opinion I’ll give you some socks, take or leave it
"Can you come out of the bathroom?"
"The best I can do is talk through the door, and I'm taking a huge dump here."
No, no, no. That would be, "Best I can do is talk thru the door. I'm taking all the risk in here!".
Mr. Brown should be on the $1000 bill
Gregory Moser 😂
Green Cow yes it is
It will always be funny
Rob nasty how would you feel if he actually did
Gregory Moser
What's this "mr.brown" stuff about?
I don't ģet it...
The fact that he’d want to sell that is crazy
Did you know? President Cleveland and Mr Brown got along famously and created the Cleveland Browns.
Jealousy isn't a good thing you should lose it
Chris Flores why tf do I keep seeing your comment over and over
Yes dumbaass
Chris Flores my name is Cleveland brown
Hahahahaha
That 1000 should’ve been bought for a lot more since it’s a 65! Never seen a grade that high!
One $500 Bill, and One $1,000 Bill. Worth, $1,500.
no sherlock, it's a limited supply, you can't just find them

@@MarkSmith-vo1vn totally. cuz I don't recognize stupid jokes
Legend has it that Mr. Brown himself had spent these high denomination bills back in 1934 at another pawn shop that he got along with famously, and it sounded so fun.
Green Cow aww what a shame you feel like that.
😂😂😂
Oh man sounds so fun
Luis Rodriguez he got jipped 🤣
I really appreciate that you went for the button ending, there
That said, youtube jokes should be shorter and punchier, longer stories can work, but they need to be more creatively compelling to keep the crowd engaged.
Imagine this crowd is not very good at keeping focus, cuz they aren't.
Is there anytime Rick doesnt laugh at his own jokes ?
I never noticed until now! 😂😂
Yes, when you meet him in real person. He’s curt and all business
At the end of these segments rarely does anybody ever say "I'm going to invest the money in a low-fee broad market index fund." Occasionally you get a new parent saying at the beginning of a segment saying "If I get what I ask for, I'll put it towards my daughter's college fund." But at the end of the segment when they actually have the money in their hands, it is always "I'm going to spend it on something I don't need!!!!" lol
Rick has said in another episode if a thousand dollar bill had a grade of 70 it's worth $80,000 now he's offering $4800 for the note
A 70 grade is near impossible.
That thousand dollar bill is worth a lot more than $4500, knowing it’s in way better condition than the 1918 $1000 bill I think he really lowballed him especially since he said a 70 would make it worth nearly $100k
I've had a couple of Canadian $1000.00 bills over the years, produced back in the 60's I believe. Still legal tender here.
Thank u for keeping it real
The 1000$ bill had 4 zeros in a row on the serial number which raises the value alot
Only 39000 was printed, so 1/4 of them have 4 zeros, the rest has 3
Rick before this comment: I'll give you $70
Rick after this comment: $70.50
OMG I have a 500 dollar bill in my garage. I didn’t know they were this much !
Me and Mr. Brown and I got along famously.
Green Cow stop hating
Something tells me that Mr. Brown and Green Cow did not get along famously...
Me and I? How many of you are there fool.
Thanks for the facts
A fun fact is these can still be used as legal currency
Customer: I have a new, crisp $1 bill. Can I get $50 for it?
Rick: I'll give you a rubber band and a pat on the back. I'm taking all the risk here.
Customer: ....hmmm... Ok it's a deal.
Me: I need change change for my $10 Bill?
Rick: $4 and not a nickel more.
Me: But it’s 10 doll-
Rick: $5, I’m taking a huge risk here.
You killed it with the last sentence
Customer: I want 1500
Rick : takes deep breath I’ll give you $200
My rich friend's dad always had a 5 hundo on him in the 80's. I have always wanted one, but it is hard to justify $1400 on a $500 bill today
Ikr. Back in 2010 was close to like $1k for a $500 bill. But yeah now it’s like $1,300-$1,500 for one
The seller is gonna be like
- can i get a 1000 dollar bill and a 500 dollar bill and the rest in 100s
-Ok
The seller comes back a month later to repeat the same technique

Interesting video about rare $500 & $1000
Mr. Brown and Woodrow Wilson got along famously. That is how he ended up on such a valuable bill.
I call him "Slick Rick" with his hand shake maneuver.
I love how the numbers kept changing
Seller - "I've got a $500 bill and a $1000 bill."
Rick - "So did you want to pawn these, sell these, or spend them at the store?"
Rick - "55 hundred."
Seller - "57 hundred."
Rick - "55."
Seller - 57."
Me - "Just split the difference and do 56 hundred!"
You obviously don't know Rick...lol.
Rick has a rare medical condition..it's called the "chiseler gene".
@@antarcticorb9197 - Medical condition, yes. Rare, no. It's pretty common.
I hate how Rick has to laugh at every one of his stupid jokes.
**whips out 10 gold bars**
rick: 5 bucks a piece and we've got a deal
What a good man saying he’s going to buy his wife something nice💯😂
I love rare money finds. It’s so historically awesome.
1000 dollar bill best i can do is 10 dollars
I’m taking a huge risk here, and money has to be made here
I love ricks exhales
"I would like you to give me $7400 in exchange for $1500" lol its just funny to me
Marcus Duckworth It’s the rarity that people want to go for. Let’s say there’s $8 dollar bill, yet there’s only ONE of them in the WHOLE world, you’ll have a lot people who would pay more money than it’s worth just to say they have ownership over them.
5 cent cardboard cards with 10 cents of ink go for tens of thousands of dollars.
No The Real Reason Why They Got Rid Of 500 & 1000 Dollar Bills Is Because Mr. Brown Got Along Famously With Them
1D 1R A C U 1L A 209 !! You be original your commenting on every comment saying the same thing
Guy: i got sum nais bils.
Rick: ol ai du is 50ct and a handshake.

this is so cool
Nice video. Even though they don't got the $10,000 dollar bill still interesting.
Fred sounds like peter from family guy when he is like 70 or 60

When do we get to see Mr. Burns' trillion dollar bill float on in to the pawn shop?
R.i.p old man❤
I think this a cool show..and ppl bring in all good stuff
Faughty eight
He’s an old Boston boy he is! They spoke English longer than most of us....
i heard Mr. Brown used to use one thousand dollar bills famously...
Seller: I got a 1000 dollar bill
Rick: I’ll give you a 2014 rusty unwashable Chuck E. Cheese token for it or a 2020 penny that is worth 1¢
lmfao
Can we just appreciate this man thinking abt his wife first not just himself
Rick is tighter than bark on a tree.
Chuck Keough Rick is tighter than a gnats ass stretched around a telephone pole.
Tighter than my dogs asshole
I love old bills i have a very very very small collection but hope to collect more 🤗
Hello Kitty pictures???
Sounds so fun!😊
Can I get change for a dollar?
- Best I can do is 65 cents.
Wholesome guy, buying his wife something
Why isn't Mr.Brown printed on these bills didn't he get along famously with the treasury?
Rick doing another gentleman a favour. What a guy
Woah even the serial number is clean
when the salesperson instantly knows the guy has trouble with his wife and has to sell it
great investment paid $4800 sold $4500
That's the problem with 'investing' in collectibles. And that problem is only going to get worse because Millennials (as an overall group) don't value collecting things the same way their parents' and grandparents' generations do/did. With (comparatively) little demand coming from younger potential buyers, it is not going to get any easier to sell these collectibles.
oncar1 He sold it for 5500 you moron.
nͫiͤcͫeͤ, The Thot Slayer he’s talking about the one bill moron hahah how’s it feel
Moron is such a big word for you, well done, mummy would be proud'
It's because everyone is fearing fakes in 2018. I only buy new stuff. Old might be fakes, so the used market is taking it up the ass.
“I have Paul Gray’s original Bass he used for recording All Hope Is Gone”
“I’ll give you ten cents and my public hair, and that’s high.”

they should sell a brown shirt at the pawn shop that says "mr. brown and i got along famously"...
way these comments play out they really should

Imagine giving the lunch lady one of these.
Love pawn stars...surprised he didn't call a expert in.
2:10 "I'd pay 3,500 dollars for it"
*shows 4,500*
Rick is soooo ripping him off, the 1000 dollar bill alone is like 10k
Yeah he is.. Looking at the price of money from 1934, the 500 bill would be around 8k and the 1000 bill would be 16k.
Considering how this works he could have gotten at least 20k minimum!
I just looked on Ebay, maybe not the greatest source of information, but similarly graded 1000 notes are selling for around 4k. Didn't bother looking at 500. The only one for 10k was one that was autographed
2:42 why cut out the intro
