  • Infiniti G35 or Nissan 350z, I show you how to install a new master cylinder and slave cylinder. Along with with a stainless steel clutch line. After the install, a bleeding procedure is needed to be completed to get all the air out of the lines, which I show.

    I'm making a humongous jump and doing a 1jz swap on my g35, something I've never done before and this video helped me so much understand the routing and assembly of the CD transmission components ... literally the exact video I was looking for to help me

    So I am pretty sure my pivot ball for my fork is toast. My Clutch pedal went to the floor and replacing the slave cylinder did nothing but blow the boot off. Plus the slave cylinder is not aligning correctly with the clutch fork. So what would you suggest for upgrading since I am going to have someone drop the tranny anyways?

    Just bought a g35
    Do you know the cause for a sticky clutch?
    Clutch engagement moves towards bottom after it gets hot. Pedal does not come up all the way.

      Slave cylinder is about to go. You need to replace the slave.

      I used to daily my G and I'm going to be making a video on my new daily I purchased. The G hit 182,000 miles so I just recently started no longer using it as my daily. Not that it drives any different at 182,000 miles, but I want to hit at least 200k before doing an engine swap V8 VK56 or the 2JZ. The way I've taken care of it, it will probably hit 300k no problem on the VQ.

      Motordyne G35 I’ve definitely noticed how you do routine maintenance and took care of any immediate repairs to the car before the problem even occurs and that’s what I love about your channel. Most people don’t understand if you take pride in the things you love they will last forever. Personally, I would love to swap a 2JZ but watching your channel I have a feeling you’ll end up with the VK... lol can’t wait to see your next moves and your daily. Thanks for the reply bro, I know you’re a busy guy

    Why are you trying to bleed with the cap on ?

    • @MotordyneG35
      @MotordyneG35  Před 4 lety +1

      I agree, you don't need the cap on. Austin was saying you do need the cap on. It doesn't matter, only air would get in the system if the reservoir tank got empty. Cap has nothing to do with it.

    • @projectzed5766
      @projectzed5766 Před 4 lety

      @@MotordyneG35 I beg to differ, The cap seals the system so it would make it very hard for the fluid to flow. Try putting a drinking straw under water and then put your thumb over one end.

  • @humblekaraokeman8050
    @humblekaraokeman8050 Před 4 lety

    Why not just reverse bleed it? Or get a one piece clutch line like from z1 or chase bays.. if you use a oil pump can you can pump the can into the bleeder with the bleeder open and it will literally take you 10 minutes with 2 people.. then once you have no more air bubbles you bleed it like you did from the bottom... viola perfect clutch pressure
