    Gravity bleed 370Z with CSC every 6 months when changing the oil and replace with Dot 5. Remove the bleeder valve to get a good flow. If the flow stops, close the bleeder valve and step on the clutch a few times. Then reopen it and debris should come out of the line. The last time I did this A LOT of debris came out of the CSC system.

    My Nissan truck let me swap out the slave cylinder piston without having to remove the slave cylinder from the transmission... Sachs...... By the way a luk clutch kit can cause a lot of vibration on the slave cylinder

His name is Ezekiel aka Zeke da Freak lol. I've had 100s of cars but this is by far the best, greatest, favorite car I've ever had. Every single time I crank him I get freaking excited and want to hit a curvy back road. Btw my name is Channing. So is the clutch master and the slave master the same thing?

    • @musokafairlady2012
      @musokafairlady2012  Před 9 měsíci +1

      No, the master is what was replaced in the video. If you have a 370z, the slave cylinder is on the inside of the transmission. Some other cars may have an external slave mounted to the outside of the transmission, but they’re not the same

    hye broski. just got my Z and i strongly recommend upgrade your slave cylinder. Just had mine blow and i only had the car for 1 day. had to drop my trans a total of 3 different times because the previous own had put a weird clutch in it. as well as having to deal with combatablity issues. I strongly recommned if you dont want to have to deal with anything like that in the future get started on replacing and building your whole trans. upgraded clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate, and slave, your master seems to be done already. Good job man keep up the great work

    Ain't no way you got that it in that easy. I'm trying to get my replacement in, and I can see the end of the lower stud, but it won't come through enough to get the nut on. Did you loosen the bolts on the bracket for the brake line distributor there? the big block that gives a bit when you bump it. Mine doesn't wiggle that much, but sure would be nice if it did.

    I don’t know what you guys call it over there but in the UK it’s the biting point but mine basically feels weak on the way up. Is that CSC on the way out of does the master cylinder need changing? Idk how to really explain it lol

    • @musokafairlady2012
      @musokafairlady2012  Před 6 měsíci +1

      Different mechanics may have different opinions, but from my experience with my 370z nismo and 370z base this is the way I tou let shoot it. I check the Clutch fluid reservoir under the hood, if there’s no fluid missing, replace the Master cylinder first. That should fix it. If there’s fluid missing, walk the lines from the reservoir to the transmission. Make sure there’s no leaks. If there is, just replace the line. If there’s no leaks, see if fluid if dripping from the transmission bell housing. If there’s fluid missing from the reservoir but no leaks in ur line, I’d replace the internal slave cylinder. If you’re leaking from the Bell housing, that’s also the slave cylinder. I’m not an expert, but tho sis what I’ve been living by and it’s never failed me.

    i bought a new master cylinder but it lost pressure within a week. should i buy another one? i dont know what to do. i already did a csc delete

    • @spideryman
      @spideryman Před 8 měsíci

      Basically I bought this 6mt g37 coupe and I absolutely love it. But I need help from u. I used Zspeed's CMAK stage 2 clutch kit with the CSC delete initially because the clutch fluid reservoir was empty and it wasn't able to go into gear. (my mechanic installed everything) This was able to get the car moving again.
      As soon as I got that settled, a couple of weeks later I noticed fluid constantly showing up under my driver's side carpet after driving. So we replaced the clutch master cylinder because the fluid was constantly emptying and I had to replenish the reservoir every 2 weeks to a month or so due to the leak under the driver's side carpet.
      Now, I'm noticing that my new clutch master cylinder tends to do the same thing when it's humid out. It will lose pressure overnight, and it's a hit or miss with the fluid leaking under my carpet. Some days ill just need to pump the clutch to get the pressure back, but other nights when it's rainy and humid out and I check the fluid it would be completely empty, and my carpet absolutely drenched. I'll also notice with the new clutch master cylinder it loses a little bit of fluid if I drive the car with spirit. Did the new clutch master cylinder break? Or is there an entirely new problem? It's literally hit or miss whenever I step in and try pushing the clutch. Thank you!
      tldr; clutch fluid shows up under the driver's side carpet what do I do if I already replaced the master cylinder

    • @musokafairlady2012
      @musokafairlady2012  Před 8 měsíci +1

      From what it sounds like, you may have bought a defective CMC. The only thing clutch related in the car is the CMC. Then it goes into the engine bay, where lines will run to the CSC on the transmission. If u have fluid in the car, I’d say it’s the CMC. If u we’re losing fluid outside the car and ur CSC was just replaced, I’d say you have a leak in ur lines. And since it’s inside the car there’s no way it’s the CSC. It sucks, but sounds like you may need to replace the CMC again and get it warrantied. This is just personal knowledge and experience. Other mechanics may say otherwise. But that’s what I would do in ur shows
