- Today marks one year of Manipur's ethnic violence between two communities that has seen over 200 deaths, thousands of displacements, several going missing, and the peace-building process failing to take off. The Kuki-Zo and the Meitei civil society organisations in the state have planned events to mark a year of ethnic conflict in the state.

union HM announced in his last visit to manipur before loksabha election that territorial integrity of manipur will be protected, he never said division may be possible it is wrongly conveyed by this news channel, very unfortunate.

How is this fair, in a country where democracy is running in full swing, In Manipur all other communities like naga, kuki , gorkha etc. can all buy land in valley area.....but No meitei can buy land in hill district even in their own state. This is very fucked up.

Zamiruddin shah, jayant ravi. M.l. nalvaya, Rubauddin, d.g. vanzara, yaadram, y.c. modi, s.g. kokani, sanjay bhat, maya kodnani, babu bajrangi, praveen togadia, surendra jain, ehsan jafri, Zakia jafri, bilkis bano and many more. (Some 3000 people died in disturbances in Gujarat) It is not known whether similar experiment was envisaged by bjp and Rss in Delhi. Of course in no other indian states, it was seen. But but at Manipur some traces of this experiment can be felt.
