It was like my childhood just casually Flying-V'd into my heart. Now I can only think of the roster that would've been if Covid didn't exist...

I am in my early 40’s resting with a broken ankle after having surgery and decided to watch all 3 of these movies again last night after not seeing them in years, and was reminded why they were my absolute favorites as a kid. These movies still hold up today and I hope people my age with kids are showing these films to them. Movies that can forever be passed down generation to generation. The sucky part is that originally the original Mighty Ducks were suppose to show up multiple times through the season (mainly Joshua Jackson as Charlie), but COVID screwed us over as usual
pretty sure they were the only ones available to film during covid. LIke Aaron Lohr (Dean Portman) is the director of a Mental health and addiction treatment center. Everything ive read he was approched and said something like i wish i could but i cant be away from the center that long (1 month) cause the patients need him
of course. they filmed this in the middle of covid, actually one of the first productions during covid. all OG ducks had to quarantine for 2 weeks in canada just to get on. many of them have family and wasn't possible. if there is season 2 you will see many more.
@@zackaryscoles6839 the ratings appear to be very good at least as of mid season. the show itself is pretty good but has some cringe and low moments. the 6th episode is amazing. two episodes left so the ending will tell us more.
@@n64rescue idk.....Every episode I've seen except for six has been super cringy. Five was an improvement but still pretty cringy. I hope if the show gets renewed that it will get better
Just wish the olds ducks were more involved, like teaching the don't bothers. Seems like they were brought in for that one episode to add credibility to the series.
they filmed this during heavy covid, one of the earlier productions to even do so. so any actor that wanted to appear for an episode had to quarantine in canada alone for 2 weeks, which many of these actors are in their 30's with kids/other jobs

I think I spotted a small mistake this season, when don't bothers change jerseys to original ducks jerseys someone's wearing a "tyler" jersey, Russ tyler didn't join ducks till 2nd film with the new ducks jersey.
@@MrMetalChris it's true, same for Kenny Wu jersey. There is a production/promotional photo that exists from D2 showing all D2 Ducks wearing the OG Ducks jersey. While this didn't take place in the movie, it's just assumed that at some point they made OG Duck Jersey's for the D2 ducks. Who would spend all that money/what would be the point? Hendrix Hockey and Mr. Tibbles from D2 had the money and wanted it done as the ducks were their bread and butter.

So Bombay did absolutely nothing with his life, no wife,kids never went back to practising law just fixated on these children for over 3 decades after a house league win 😂
he didn't even fixate on the children tho, he cut all ties and ignored them. he literally sat around moping, then he got the ice palace and ran that into the ground/ could have killed those that were inside Ice Palace due to negligence on his end. He even found it in his budget to get a sign made that said "No Hockey"
