Thanks for watching all! Make sure you check out the full build series if you haven't already. One more episode to go and we'll be finished! czcams.com/play/PLUy1-gPWrFRTgQLUNBw-qjm_GBV7kGY2I.html
I must say this episode just raised the bar! Carrisa has killer skills on doing patterns, sewing and diving into the unknown and still making excellence out of nothing. Thank you for the step by step process learned new things and had fun watching all the incredible details come to LIFE. Gotta LOVE ❤️ your cat what a supervisor. Keep it up Smugglers/ Mandalorians Room!!
Thank you very much! Carissa has done an absolutely amazing job with these, so excited!
@@TheSmugglersRoom Disney Star Wars New Droids czcams.com/video/HV5F9ElQ1IU/video.html
It is a real privilege to see them work, this time Karissa showed off, I can't wait to see them in their Mandalorian costumes
Thank you!!! She did a great job!
Melted bee's wax can harden leather right up when making a sheath. It can melt in direct sunlight but it stays in the leather's pores. Be careful to not get it to hot or it will cook the leather. It makes a very hard sheath.
oh sweet! Great tip Kelley! Thank you!
The costumes are looking really good. I liked how your cat was like nope I am going to make this as difficult as possible, and it's awesome that you named him Bossk
Bossk is a challenge, no doubt about it!
The dedication and work that goes into this costume is amazing...
Much appreciated
Came out great! I LOVE THAT CAT!!! There is nothing cooler than a Black cat! And to have the name Bossk is even cooler!
That synth music is brilliant. Love the costume build too.
Amazing job Carissa. The depth and character in all the fabric and leather is remarkable. I haven’t enjoyed watching leatherwork done like this since a year ago when I came upon Malcom Reynolds holster on ‘Foolfly’ CZcams playlist. My wife is a tailor, so I can appreciate the workmanship that goes into things like this. I was so stressed when you started sewing the leather, because I’ve been the husband who rapidly tries to settle the nerves of a tailor that broke the last needle after Joanne’s closing time
Thank you so much Garland! Really appreciate the kind words.
Who is Brett? We are confused?
Happened to be in Europe 2016 so wife & I attended Celebration London, no costumes living out of a suitcase. You guys are gonna have a blast! Can't wait for the reveal.
Absolutely amazing!!! The amount of time that went into all those details blows my mind! What an awesome costume my friend! Carissa is incredible and I can't wait to see her costume!! Great work guys! I'm just bummed I won't get to see you in person at celebration... Have a great time! You'll be the best looking Mando couple there!!!
Thank you my friend. Wish you were going to be there too!
Super cool! I’ve never done leatherworking/made a holster either so it’s quite a relief to find this video while I’ve been humming and ahh-ing over where to start for the last few days 😅
Fantastic work Mrs. Smuggler I love the out come and attention to detail!!!
Thank you very much!
That is an amazing costume. Very impressed by all the details. I was so happy to see someone in that house helped you since Brian was too busy with his droid.
LOL!! Brian and the sewing machine is a dangerous combination!
super excited to see you two in full battle rattle
Thank You!!!
I am always so impressed by your attention to detail.
Thank you very much!
Love that color scheme. I really dig the belt buckle.
Thank you!
Absolutely fantastic work!! Can't wait to see you guys in full Mando armor!!!
Thanks bro
This is looking amazing! Great work, Carissa!
Thank you!!!!
Such a talented couple, amazing work.
Thank you so much!
That looks so So SOOOOOOOO great!! Have the best time ever!
Thank you so much!
Carissa has mad skills! That belt buckle is so cool! Great patience and attention to detail. Amazing work!
My mother (may she rest in peace) would have loved trading sewing tips with you!...thanks for sharing and stay safe!...beautiful black cat (I'm a sucker for black cats)
Thank you so much.
Such great filming! Love your black cat too!
Carissa and Bryan you guys really upping the game on your mandalorian kits. Their looking better and better each time, i just finish my mando yesterday, he’s a mash up between Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett and Mando from seasons 1 and 2 with my own spin on the paint and weathering. Your cat was quite the comedian. Have a great day both of you and this is the way!
Congrats on finishing your kit! Awesome. Thanks so much for the encouragement!
Thanks Bryan and Carissa, my costume took me 2 years to complete but you both are pros i’m just a rookie, i hit a lot of astroid fields during the journey figuring out what i wanted the Armor to look like, then building and painting plus massive weathering passes with ways i learned from Bryan in the workshop but Carissa it was your knowledge of fabrics that brought this project together. I took an existing Canada flag turning it into my shoulder cape, i took braided rope making Wookiee braids, no Wookiee’s were harmed during the process. Keep up the great work both of you.
Lol love the space balls reference.. lol "because the bark you dummies"
LOL! So glad others got it!
@@TheSmugglersRoom its one of my favorite movies I use to watch it all the time religiously i guess.. lol
@@TheSmugglersRoom btw everything looks fantastic :)
Is a great custom, congratulations. Greetings from Perú. 🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪🇵🇪
This is looking amazing. All of the details are what will make this great.
Thanks Wayne! Totally agreed, it's going to be awesome.

Whoohoo! We knew someone would get it!
Carissa, you are amazing!!!!! Beautiful work!!!
Thank you so much!!
@@TheSmugglersRoom you are very welcome 😊
Glad to see someone else sharpens their box-cutters rather than just disposing of the blades!
Also good to see a cat taking such a keen interest in making something out of nothing.
longevity of the blade!
Looks Fabulous! Way to go! Love love loved this one!
Thank you!!!
May the force be with you.

looks amazing even without the amour plates , and as it is, you can wear it an looks like a old republic Smuggler or bounty Hunter !!!
you are ready to rock SW celebration!
Totally agreed! I told Carissa that it could be used as an old school Jedi, has a really great look. She did amazing!
@@TheSmugglersRoom

Bossk did a great job!

Amazing. I wish I could do soft parts like that. More soft part tutorials??
You can, i am certain you can! We'll try and get more out there!
Looking good! As always, great to start my morning with another video to watch over my morning coffee. Can't wait to see the finished costumes!
Awesome! Thank you!
Stunning work.
Thank you!!
Watching was a blast!
It makes me wonder how you'd interpret a Nihil costume.
Alllllll! I Really Enjoy this video! Two thumbs 👍🏿 👍🏿💥😮😀
Glad you enjoyed it
We use hello fresh here in Sweden too and it's great👌
Holy cow this is an incredible project. For not having leather skill prior to creating this, how did you go about visualizing what you wanted with confidence you could accomplish the vision?
LoL, I just read your comment to carissa and she let out a nervous laugh. 🤣. The leather was super intimidating at first, but having a template that she created out of paper first was the key. She was able to cut the paper template and use that to get all the measurements and proportions correct. That really helped. Then once she started in was much like anything else we had never tried before, you kind of go for it!
@@TheSmugglersRoom “just go for it”, that is really what’s behind building something out of nothing. After all, you also have to build knowledge where you never had it before too. Thanks for the insight.
Wow that was a great job great work.
Thank you very much!
your supurrvisor approves! And I do too. These Costumes look awesome!
Yay, thank you!
i need those cover alls!
Dang it...now y'all have got me wanting to step up my Mando game. I've been a part of the MMCC since 2007, but now I really want to improve my own kit. I won't be at this Celebration, but if it comes back to Florida, I hope I get to troop with you both!
Thanks David!! Looking forward to it!
Amazing!
Thank you! Cheers!
So awesome
Thank you!
Is that a space balls reference in the beginning??? haha!!
of course!!!
Antiquiquing dye is best on embossed or tooled leather, you would be better off with an oil dye or stain for smooth leather. (I ran a leather shop for 5 years). That cylinder pouch would work great for a com link or droid caller.
Thanks Clayton! Great idea on the droid caller!
@@TheSmugglersRoom I am an avid cosplayer myself (since 1982) and Star Wars is a favorite genre.
awesome!
Much appreciated
Outstanding job! Do you have a link for the little clips you used to hold your fabric together? Thank you!
I love it
Thank you!
Nice!
Thank you! Cheers!
is there going to be any more mando cosplay tutorials?? cause i wanna see a whole series
Kitty!
😉
Honestly, I think the uneven leather dye works for this. Since the SW universe is supposed to look worn.
agreed!
When forming the holster, did you consider using a 'dollar store' vaccuum bag?
This is the way.
This is the Way
this is great stuff! What's the music, btw? It's great synthwave!
where would one acquire the blue work clothes at the beginning of the video?
The belts omg..they looked absolutely amazing 👏. Where did you find those buckles?? If you don't mind me asking?
Thank you! The buckle came with the etsy plans we bought from Obsessive Passions Mandalorian Leather Patterns. here is the link: www.etsy.com/listing/87747171...
@@TheSmugglersRoom thank you!! You two are awesome 🙌❤️
Just barley started watching.
I love the Stranger Things music vibe. Back to the video
Thank you!
What is Olive cosplaying as this year? 🙂
She is a big fan of Taun Tauns, but not sure how to pull that off 🤣
Am I seeing some inspiration from Leia's Hoth vest?
yes indeed!
Lovin' it, nice and subtle!
Going forward, I'm going to have to insist on more shots of your dogs in the videos.
Cat, too.
We can do that for sure ;)
Oh not again hello my lady hello my darling hello my Valentine by the way if you don't know then the guy says knots again that is the same guy that the alien busted out of in the first alien movie and nobody really actually knew what was going to happen and one of the actors the female actors not the main one actually fainted
Yep, the amazing John Hurt himself. Such a great scene, both of them!
You sold out! Promoting some sponsor that has nothing to do with the content in the middle of a video sucks!
Wow, you are right. We should totally ignore any sponsor opportunities that would help us grow and make better content for you absolutely free of charge. Why didn’t I think of that?
I’m tired of looking at my boring stale printer . I’m pretty sure so are you and all us fans. I mean my 2020 printer looks exactly as my 2002 printer 🖨 does. I think you what to do 😊
I just watched this awesome video and have a couple questions. What was the ounce of the vegtan leather you used for the holster? May I ask where you purchased the buckle for the belt? When you sewed the leather with your Singer Heavy Duty machine, did you punch the holes prior to sewing the leather together? Are you able to use leather sewing thread with your Singer machine?😮 The holster and belts came out amazing, nicely done.Thank you, Daren
Best of luck on the rest if the build guys, so far everything looks outstanding 👌
Thank you!
