  • Hey everyone! I'm showing How to Make Din Djarin's Blaster from Star Wars The Mandalorian out of Foam with a Free PDF Pattern! And yes I am really excited for The Mandalorian Season 3 ! This was a really fun build and I'm incredibly happy with how the tutorial and prop came out. To go along with the foam tutorial I also go over all of the painting techniques including wood grain and graphite powder applications. This EVA Foam fabrication blaster looks amazing and weighs next to nothing so it's great as a display piece or perfect for your Mandalorian Cosplay. To help you out this Mandalorian blaster build also comes with Free blueprints that I created that can be found on my website. So if you want to protect the Child ( Baby Yoda / Grogu ) or possibly fight off some bounty hunters with Ahsoka Tano this is the blaster for you.

    I think he needs to find a couple DE-10s.
    I believe those would be very iconic and add to the western vibe of the character.

    Hey Steve could you possibly make Han’s DL 44 Blaster?
    Ps really wicked cool that blaster is.

  • @theultimatesteelshooter8610

    I’ve started to paint my blaster following along your methodology. One question: after applying the graphite if you wanted to seal it using testor’s metallic sealer do you do it immediately or after you complete the silver & gold accents & weathering of the front of the barrel ?

    • @SKSProps
      @SKSProps  Před 2 lety

      Personally I would apply the sealer just after the graphite them go with your acrylic iridescents on top

    Amazing craftmanship! How did you use Photoshop to make the pattern? Did you freeze frame the show and capture a close up and go from there or something?

      Thanks! Yes, I get as many reference images I can off of google then import them all into Photoshop so I can see as many angles as possible. Then I create the line work using the pen tool

    STEVE: just finished my Mando blaster - great template BTW! And an ready to paint. Ive found rustolem hammered dark bronze metallic paint and rust rusteloeum oil rubbed bronze but no hammered oil rubbed bronze so which one did you use? Thx & keep up the great channel!

    were the grips painted with the hammered oiled bronze too before you painted the wood grain? Or, did you try to avoid painting that area? I didn't see any taping of the grips.

    As always enjoyed the video. I'm glad that you don't waste time trying to introduce yourself, the object that you are making and just small talk.
    I do have a question, please consider answering, thanks.
    Would you make a video that gives you a sort of beginner guide to what you need to begin making diy projects.
    Do you sell kit's already made up with everything you need to do
    "Whatever " projects ?
    If no maybe you can make one for the beginner and advertise that as a promotional product. I believe that would make you a million in a year easy and being a marketer I would give the chance of 30-70 on the inside of making your investment tripled on the market.
