My cat is a klepto as well. He steals clothes, towels, rags, swimsuits, hats, etc from the neighborhood and leaves them in our driveway. It freaked us out until we saw him do it and realized where everything was coming from.

A couple had a Siamese cat, and a few months after their first child was born, they'd notice that soft toys like teddy-bears and bunnies would show up in the baby's crib. I knew a cat once that would walk up to me purring, and after a few seconds of crouched petting would walk behind me and bite my elbow, or just generally sneak up from behind to bite me. cats do look a bit embarrassed though when they slip and miss a jump.

My late cat Cleo had been born in the barn where I boarded my horses and I took her home. She was forever grateful to me and spent the next 16 years "gifting" me with lizards missing their tails and left hind legs. EVERY TIME, the same leg and tail, honestly. She stole the neighbor dog's toys all the time as well. She had no shame. I still miss her.

This is hilarious. I clicked on the video as I couldn't believe what I was seeing, I live in scotland with my 4 cats. For the past 2 years one of my cat has been stealing these gardening gloves and random socks also, 20+ pairs of gloves withing a few months last year. It seems to be more common than I thought lol.

My grandmother had a cat who would go into our neighbor's garage across the street and steal their socks. It took her a while to figure out where he was getting them and by that point she was too embarrassed to tell them she had so many of their socks. When it was time for her to move she had me haul a few large black garden trash bags over to their home full of paired socks. When I explained to her what happened she said she never knew why her socks kept going missing and just kept buying new socks. Thankfully she thought it was funny and was shocked to see so many collected over the years. My grandmother washed and paired them all. 😆

Lol! For months, we noticed that my toddler niece and nephew’s shoes and articles of their clothing left out by our pool would go missing and we couldn’t figure it out. Then one day our neighbor down the street came by with an arm full of items that had gone missing from our yard 😂. Their cat, who btw, used to be our cat, before he decided he like our neighbor better than us 😥, would steal things from our yard, mostly the kids’ clothes and shoes, and take it back to our neighbor as “gifts” 🤣.

My late cat Cleo had been born in the barn where I boarded my horses and I took her home. She was forever grateful to me and spent the next 16 years "gifting" me with lizards missing their tails and left hind legs. EVERY TIME, the same leg and tail, honestly. My grandmother had a cat who would go into our neighbor's garage across the street and steal their socks. It took her a while to figure out where he was getting them and by that point she was too embarrassed to tell them she had so many of their socks. When it was time for her to move she had me haul a few large black garden trash bags over to their home full of paired socks. When I explained to her what happened she said she never knew why her socks kept going missing and just kept buying new socks. Thankfully she thought it was funny and was shocked to see so many collected over the years. My grandmother washed and paired them all. 😆

Lol! For months, we noticed that my toddler niece and nephew’s shoes and articles of their clothing left out by our pool would go missing and we couldn’t figure it out. Then one day our neighbor down the street came by with an arm full of items that had gone missing from our yard 😂. Their cat, who btw, used to be our cat, before he decided he like our neighbor better than us 😥, would steal things from our yard, mostly the kids’ clothes and shoes, and take it back to our neighbor as “gifts” 🤣.
