    I'm blessed this month been off metformin for a year this month. I researched herbs to that help me. I'm 72 yrs young. I cut sweets off. Research how help yourself. More blood sugar but I fo A 1C every six months they like normal person. God is good I give him the praise. Have blessed safe day. I got arthritis both knees n tailbone but I use cane . blessed

      I know that God put everything we need in nature. We just have to use wisdom, like you did, in order to use it.

    I've been making a lentil pizza crust and a sweet potato pizza crust. Next, give up the processed meat.

      Aren't the lentils high in carbs? I use lentils to make sprouts. I cooked some, today.

    I never heard of grapes on pizza before. If you’re watching sugar/carb intake, grapes are a bit high in sugar. Berries are a better fruit to have if you’re watching sugar/carb intake. I got a glucose monitor,too, when I came home from Massachusetts so I’ve been watching my sugar intake as well. I was doing a mostly keto diet before but I’ve gotten really strict about it these last few weeks and lost 8 pounds since last month!
    I miss grits, too! I haven’t had them in at least 3 years! I’m happy that you enjoyed the cauliflower crust - game changer, right?! I’m not a fan of cauliflower and didn’t care for the pizza crust but I wish I liked it so I could make pizza too!

      Thank you. Did you put garlic powder and Italian seasoning in your crust?
      Fruit is high in carbs but I used only 3 grapes sliced thinly.
      I'm doing well. Right in the target zone for two days in a row. 👍

      @@BnB316 yes, I put all the Italian seasonings in it too but I just don’t care for cauliflower or broccoli. I learned how to make a pizza crust out of chicken and egg and parmigiana cheese instead. I run the chicken through the food processor so it gets pretty fine, add an egg and cheese and roll it out and par-bake it first.
      I like strawberries and blackberries for fruit. They’re not as high in carbs as other fruits but I still don’t have more than 1/4 cup. Blueberries are a superfood but I don’t like them either! Seems I don’t like the taste of the stuff that would do me the most good!
      I’m staying in range with the monitor but I’m at the high end of the range right now. That’s why I’m doing very strict keto so I can eventually maintain levels more towards the low end of the range. My dad has renal failure and has to do dialysis every day. I don’t want to get to that point so I’m working on myself now. I think I’m worth the process of changing my bad food choices no matter how difficult it is so that I don’t have to inject insulin or do dialysis. The monitor is helping me see which foods will skyrocket my blood sugars. I had to give up the bread in my breakfast sandwich. That was very hard! I’m happy to hear that you’re doing well with it. It gives me a bit more hope! 💜
