I am so grateful for this! I have never actually posted a comment in regard to a video, but I had to express my gratitude. This video has been instrumental in easing me back into my body as I am recovering from trauma. Yoga has been a necessary piece for my healing and trauma therapy, to learn to focus the mind and calm the body through breathing. It's amazing to actually FEEL my body again as trauma survivors dissociate from their bodies as our minds and focus remains on high alert to look to danger. My goal in the coming months is to focus on "body kindness" now that I am spiritually whole. It's amazing to get on my mat, and enjoy a tiny massage that feels so amazing...all of this, for free (we don't like to venture out to new situations, because our minds won't turn off!:) Your work has made such a difference to my journey. I am reconnected with my breath and body, and can manage fear responses from my overactive brain stem as a result:). I have made incredible strides in my trauma therapy as a result and am feeling more calm and much less anxiety. Your gentle and sweet guidance has helped me immensely on my journey of healing and health. Thank you, for your kindness and your genuine self, Adriene. You have made an immense difference. ❤️

SO glad you posted this, Jennifer. I just finished this session on day 8 of my recovery from 6 rounds of chemo. It's the first physical thing I've been able to do and just before Adrienne noted "you may feel some emotions coming up here" I had started to cry quite a bit. Every trauma is different, and I believe that chemo is a kind of trauma. When I saw your post, I began crying again. There is a lot of release to be done. I hope that your journey through your trauma brings you peace and self-love.
And to Adrienne, THANK YOU for this. You are healing people in ways you can't even imagine.
3 years later, I hope that you are recovering and doing much better. We love and believe in you :)

Single Mom here, son just moved out about 10 days ago to his first place, I am so happy & excited for him, but my emotions have been all over the place. It is so lonely here. I had long deep soul wrenching cry this morning, felt good to release all the pent up emotions. The self love and self hugs with massage were just what I needed as I am winding down my day. Thank you Adriene for always giving us what we need.

had a couple unpleasant surprises that cut my sleep short and threw off my morning plans. i was ready to give up on my routine and just lie in bed scrolling my phone, but a little mindful voice in my head kept asking over and over, "why do you want to do that? will it make you feel better? will it make your morning better, or worse?" and darn it if i didn't finally grab my journal to write and then come cue up this video. "mindfulness" is a word that gets used in so many context it's easy to forget what it means, but doing this year's 30 days of yoga has helped to reawaken that voice that asks me to think about what i'm doing as i'm doing it. now february is off to a great start. here's to "blossom"!

This was exactly what I needed to start a beautiful day. I have the blessing of going to choose a wedding dress with my youngest daughter today.

Align day 20. February 2023. I have spent more than 6 hours on a bus since yesterday. I am tired, so glad of the short practice. Found a few knots in my neck - probably from travelling.
Breathe day 10. December 2022. Frosty Saturday morning. Nice to ease into the day, but feel I need something more. Will do one of the morning yoga practices.

Align day 20!! This marks 50 days of consecutive yoga for me 😊 The longest streak ever. I’m doing this practice on a rooftop park in Philly and I feel so alive!!
ALIGNing in February of 2023 and I’m so excited to be here after (at LEAST one video!) YWA for 90 days!
Align Day 17 ✅ Feb 2023 a 47 days of awesomeness in a row. Switched to this today as it's my fasting day for maha shivaratri and I wanted to be gentle and preserve energy for the rest of the day.
It's incredible to see so many of us decided to extend our MOVE journey into the lovely month of BLOSSOM🌺 I can't wait to continue my practice alongside all of you❤️ We rock🤘

Day 31 and first day of the new calendar! Lovely quick practice and that glute massage really does wonders 💚
Today marks day 50 of yoga every day! This is the first time in a while I’ve had to save my practice for after work, and this one was perfect! I am a massage therapist, so it was very refreshing to feel my own hands on my own body and reconnecting with my breath at the same time.
I’ve been communicating with my clients about that connection too. Massage is such a great way to check in with the physical body but also the mental one, just like yoga! It’s all connected 😌🙏🏼 see you tomorrow, namaste ❤

It's 11pm and I nearly accepted, "I just did yoga for 30 days, I'm taking a day off," but that wouldn't acknowledge the treasure that is this practice. Yes, I'm tired and I haven't felt like getting on the mat the last few days for a variety of valid reasons, BUT I can do this! I can maintain this practice and find this love space even when it's hard, because that's when I need it the most. Thank you, Adriene, for picking a short practice for day 31! Once all my excuses had been used up, "it's only 10 minutes, just get to the mat - it's the hardest part" finally won out. Much love, let's blossom everyone!

Felt a bit sad after the excitement of Move and the nice comments. I thought i just choose videos and do my own practice quietly but then found tbe calender and decided to try and follow it. And i realised the emotional support is sooo important. So lets keep going. NAMASTE all. Ps: i git very tight hips since childhood and cant do this glut-massage properly but hey i am on the mat for 12 weeks now every single day and thats what counts! 😉

As soon as I hugged myself tears came to my eyes and I sincerely felt love for myself in that hug, a moment I must have never felt before. It was like finally receiving the love one has been needing but never knew. I have been practicing with you for almost 7 years now and I am still learning so much about myself. Thank you Adrienne for giving me this opportunity to know and love myself.

Massaging was just what was needed. My neck said more, more, more. My right glute said likewise. Even my left thumb spoke up while working on the foot so I turned it around and massaged it with my foot, 😝.

Same for me, first time ever I’ve stuck with something like this. I am still horribly overweight and in pain a lot and unable to do a lot of these positions without modifications, yet despite all this the improvements to my body in strength and flexibility are already such a blessing.

Blessed Beloved Beauties! I always adore returning to this session. Align Day - 20 was right on time earlier when I completed the session at 1:00 P.M. EST before a virtual rehearsal with my elementary kids. They are in my theater ensemble group. It's a pleasure to educate them in theater, yet sometimes I feel drained. This was a nice picker upper. Here after MOVE. And Wow that was exactly what i needed today. I was so tiered today but thought "well 10 minutes...i could do that" - and it was sooo good. I was so happy & calm afterwards and really appreciated my mind/soul and my body. That was real selflove 🥰

I've never felt more connected then I do to this community. After finishing my first consecutive 30 days with Move, i told myself that it is ok to take a break. I was tired physically and emotionally. But at 7pm something inside me brought me to the mat. Thank you to all that show up and continue to inspire me! Thank you everyone! Yes I'm coming in from MOVE. 🙋♀️ That hip massage was so very welcome this morning. In the 10 minutes today it was great to see myself check in with my body. Seeing where I was clenching and where I could soften. Some good lessons from MOVE! Hope everyone has a good day.
