Gotta say I love seeing fresh high quality fft content in 2024, keep killing it my man 👑
Thanks for the comment! I've been doing FFT stuff before the wanna be cool kids and their Nvidia leak.
As for high quality content, sometimes it is lol
Good builds and solid tips!
Thanks as always! The video is quite long but I feel these builds will be useful and helpful to players
Absolutely LOVE this style of video. Every FFT job video is always ultimate builds and things not obtainable for a standard playthrough. Fantastic work!
Much thanks, most of the build videos I show are the absolute best stuff
but I gotta show things that are a bit less grind intensive and can easily be pick up and play for sure lol
Ahhh been waiting for this video for a while. 😊 Chapter 2 is the best imo. A lot of job opportunities, but nothing op. I agree Monks are always good and you can’t go wrong with them. You could use their Doom Fist against Gaffgarion. Black Mages and Summoners are great for chapter 2. Great video Jase!
Thanks man it was a long wait but hopefully the other builds will come out sooner.
It is a fun one to make but it does take a bit lol. I never did think about wanting to use Doom Fist vs Gaffgarion but that is a cool strategy for sure!
And yeah their magic is so great lol hopefully 3 and 4 to come real soon!
I’m one fight away from Chapter 2, so excellent timing on this vid
Sixth sense right here lol
Very good tactics, lol. Each one of these you mentioned is viable and easy to set up. I personally love using Geomancers and Archers in chapter 2.
Haha much thanks. Yeah a lot of these are fairly easy to setup and beat the chapter with. And nice props on Geomancers and especially archers!
I hope you get alot lf subs and view when FFT remake comes
You really deserve it
Hey thanks so much for the wonderful comment and support. I just love FFT and was uploading videos before these hipsters were making news videos about the Nvidia leak.
I'm not sure if there will be a remake as there is no confirmation from Square Enix.
But if it happens great and if it doesn't I still love what I have!
As for Lavian Alicia and Rad, there wasn't enough time to make their own sprite (unique character model), so they have a vanilla model. And as for taking them, I always take all three of them. It's a pity, of course, that they weren't revealed and they don't have a backstory and they didn't add a unique sprite and work, they're still cool.
As for the development backstory and history of those three. I'm really not sure unless you have some proof that they were supposed to have their own unique portraits or sprites.
That is the first I've heard. I take them too but Alicia and Lavian are needed for Tynar Rouge in War of the Lions. Ladd isn't required but I always take him
My Lavian and Alicia always ended up as Geomancer with Black Magic and Swiftness and Mystic. Couple with White Mage-Agrias this make a very fun debuff team!
Debuff team need more love! Especially on chapter 2 where u want to farm for high tier jobs.
I totally dig it!
It’s funny cause in the PS1 version you didn’t need Alicia, Lavian and Ladd so i actually just recruited them, took their arm and then released them. When i realized they extended the roster in WOTL and i looked up if their character had more value BABY Alicia and Lavian as dark knights ARE SO AWESOME. To bad the scene when they see Ovelia they don’t stay in those jobs cause that woulda been so sick.
Tbh base off your builds as much as i play FFT i never thought about using Brawler on Ninjas or using Monk more. I just realized a couple years ago how sick the monk is. As for Iaido i wind up playing around with it a couple of years and i was unaware it played off the MA until i experimented and getting Samurai that early in chapter 2 to get potential out of it early makes me wanna do a run though and see if it does make it easier.
So happy for finding your channel in its early stages and seeing how much you grown now i’m glad to have found a channel who puts so much RESPECT on this game this is my favorite game of all time next to pokemon ❤️
Yeah that would have been interesting if their sprites did change in that scene. But I'm glad they are in it assuming players kept them around for sure.
I'm glad you got to try some stuff out with some different builds! I always found it weird that Iaido was based off of MA too lol but it is what it is and its fun to see some numbers lol.
It has been a wild ride lol. You have been here for a while when I had a lot less viewers and subscribers lol. But glad to see you still here and I just love FFT!
@@J7Jase it’s the love for FFT that keeps me coming back and you maybe one of three youtubers that dedicate their time to FFT content so long as you keep bringing it ima keep coming!
@@eunotv yeah not really many true FFT channels. Even me at this point with a few other odd video games uploads lol.
But nearly all my vids are FFT and thanks!
I like extra movement more than protection from things. Aside from the fights against Thieves, it doesn't tend to bother me.
It depends on your play style and of course how your character is set up and etc. But because he is fast and will usually get the first turn I do like the protection myself unless you can bait him into using Bio spells with a weak unit or something.
In general, it is also possible to advise in all battles where knights and thieves participate to put everyone without exception Maintainance. Why because knights like to use the battle skill, namely break helmet, armor, shield and weapon, and thieves use the skill to steal helmet, armor, shield, weapon and even an accessory. Even in a battle with Izlud. You should always take things from guests and give them things that are sold in the store, or give nothing.
You could yes. But their % isn't that high in my opinion.
I mostly highly recommend it vs Divine Knights like when fighting Meldiaoul. They do strong damage but this video is on Chapter 2
4:40 as an option, you can put the ninja skill two swords in the monk's work and it will be even more powerful in close combat.
Most of these builds and I say it early on, are mostly not that grind intensive. 900 JP is a bit grind intensive but play how you want.
Martial Arts or Brawler from Monk and putting it on Ninja is much faster
Another advantage that summons have over black magic is that they ignore friendly fire. So you can just target them where you need to without fear of accidentally damaging your allies. Also, female archers are ultra hot.
yeah that is another huge plus and lol
I think the moment you arrive at Goug, you could finally get your hands on some guns, and make 5 Chemists that just take pot-shots at everything from across the map and heal themselves and each other. I almost always do that and grind out Auto Potion on anyone that doesn't have it, and possibly Throw Items, not to mention Hi and X Potions.
For White Mage, I think its just 600 JP for Holy, so you could do a little swapping here and there to Black Mage to get Arcane Strength. That plus the Wizard Robes and other MA booosting gear, you can easily setup a kill squad of 5 White Mage assassins (or better yet Black Mages with White Magic secondary). While EXTREMELY boring, that pretty much just finished the rest of the entire game :D
Last suggetion if anyone's interested: once you get Auto Potion, might be good for a few battles to swap all of your main units, even physical ones, to Time Mage and Mystic (Oracle). Try to unlock Manashield from Time Mage and Manafont from Mystic, all the while boosting Bravery with Ramza to permanent 97. Be warned - this'll make the game painfully easy, almost like a "baby mode" lol :)
You can buy guns there. If you have the gil for it so it can be a strategy for people who are soft locked in that spot lol. As long as the Summoners don't have good or best zodiac signs and you group up.
I usually recommend auto potion earlier for like Ramza and etc. but that strategy can be nice for someone like Ladd, Alicia and Lavian.
The only issue with White Mages Holy to me is the MP cost at this point but its a pretty much sure way to near guarantee one hit a target.
Man you spoiled the next video with the mana font mana shield comboo
@@J7Jase LOL oh man sorry! I wasn't trying to spoil, was just trying to be helpful. Hey, look at it this way - Great minds think alike! hahahaah
I wanted to try using magic against the Lucavi since I usually ran physical builds. Rushing Holy after learning just Cure on White Mages is surprisingly not too grindy. It is ironic that I was still branded a herectic even if I used Holy power to defeat the cardinal.😅
Lol. Gameplay never does equate or = to the lore.
The only issue with Holy is the MP cost early on but its pretty much a guarantee KO on said target lol
Current playthrough I'm trying out super early arithmetician, but I didn't want to be overleveled for the story, so I also leveled back down as chemist/bard. Totally not worth it, but the story battles are hilarious
Using them as a primary would be a more fun way to play since their stats in job sucks especially their speed.
Using it as a secondary on other things can break the game
I know you hate Bards but, I had so much fun with a Ramza bard during one of my gameplays, being the only male with magic attack, he was just chilling in the back healing everyone a lot and when needed, providing a ton of mp for my mages, you should try it sometime
Ramza makes a better Bard because he has better MA but I don't really recommend it, it depends on your play style. But I don't recommend it in most battles.
I show a Bard build in the video
I hope they neuter Boco in a future remasater. I love having him on the squad but I hate having to eat all of his eggs.
Lol. That would be a good turn on and off feature
or like in Tactics Ogre Reborn, you can turn them into money / items more easily in a shop...then at least you wouldn't need to Secret Hunt / Poach them in random fights yourself
Chapter 2 builds? Does anyone not have every job mastered and level 99 in Chapter 1?
I have a problem :(
Nah you don't have a problem at all. Play the game how you want to lol
