Someone please help me how i play dissidia online?

for my monster run I just use like red choobos and for a normal run I just have an army of females with chantage or have equips avoiding the female assassins bs moves lol. but is it just me or I feel like the female assassins are the final bosses. cause they beat me more times then anyone else compare to other bosses

For those who don't know, in the 10:40 map, there is a chance to battle ninjas, and they can throw all the best/legendary ultra rare weapons in the game, incuding chaos blade, Chirijiraden... So you just need to keep them in a position where they can only attack you by throwing and u need to have the "CATCH" skill.

Very good tactics, lol. Each one of these you mentioned is viable and easy to set up. I personally love using Geomancers and Archers in chapter 2.

It’s funny cause in the PS1 version you didn’t need Alicia, Lavian and Ladd so i actually just recruited them, took their arm and then released them. When i realized they extended the roster in WOTL and i looked up if their character had more value BABY Alicia and Lavian as dark knights ARE SO AWESOME. To bad the scene when they see Ovelia they don’t stay in those jobs cause that woulda been so sick. Tbh base off your builds as much as i play FFT i never thought about using Brawler on Ninjas or using Monk more. I just realized a couple years ago how sick the monk is. As for Iaido i wind up playing around with it a couple of years and i was unaware it played off the MA until i experimented and getting Samurai that early in chapter 2 to get potential out of it early makes me wanna do a run though and see if it does make it easier. So happy for finding your channel in its early stages and seeing how much you grown now i’m glad to have found a channel who puts so much RESPECT on this game this is my favorite game of all time next to pokemon ❤️

Soft locks; aggravating when unprepared, fun to enjoy if you know what you're doing. I never endured them myself, having watched my older brother play Tactics first and learning the importance of the second saves in the multi-battle spots. My brother, however, nearly got soft locked against Cuchulainn, but a few tweaks to his set up won him the day. He has since made second saves once he reaches the famous soft lock spots.

Definitely Wiegraf at the Windmill. I never had issues with Dorter really, but the first time facing him, I ended up seeing a Game Over. Ziekden was another one as I wasn't expecting the -ra level spells yet. It was a rough way to end Chapter 1, but it definitely was a welcome ramp-up in difficulty. It also trains players that sometimes, focusing the boss is the better strategy. In terms of sheer unrelenting difficulty, Wiegraf Riovaines definitely takes the cake.

My Lavian and Alicia always ended up as Geomancer with Black Magic and Swiftness and Mystic. Couple with White Mage-Agrias this make a very fun debuff team! Debuff team need more love! Especially on chapter 2 where u want to farm for high tier jobs.

Another advantage that summons have over black magic is that they ignore friendly fire. So you can just target them where you need to without fear of accidentally damaging your allies. Also, female archers are ultra hot.

Loved KH and KH2 as a kid, but now that I know Cloud, Tifa, and Sephiroth so well from Remake and Rebirth, only now do I realize that they talk like they have a long history in this game and we’re never told that history, like there’s so much more to their stories and the game just expected us to know them and we don’t.

I got soft locked twice. The Izlude fight and the Weigraf fight. Why I decided to make the same mistake twice with a single save is beyond me.

Whitemage > blackmage

I think the moment you arrive at Goug, you could finally get your hands on some guns, and make 5 Chemists that just take pot-shots at everything from across the map and heal themselves and each other. I almost always do that and grind out Auto Potion on anyone that doesn't have it, and possibly Throw Items, not to mention Hi and X Potions. For White Mage, I think its just 600 JP for Holy, so you could do a little swapping here and there to Black Mage to get Arcane Strength. That plus the Wizard Robes and other MA booosting gear, you can easily setup a kill squad of 5 White Mage assassins (or better yet Black Mages with White Magic secondary). While EXTREMELY boring, that pretty much just finished the rest of the entire game :D Last suggetion if anyone's interested: once you get Auto Potion, might be good for a few battles to swap all of your main units, even physical ones, to Time Mage and Mystic (Oracle). Try to unlock Manashield from Time Mage and Manafont from Mystic, all the while boosting Bravery with Ramza to permanent 97. Be warned - this'll make the game painfully easy, almost like a "baby mode" lol :)

I wanted to try using magic against the Lucavi since I usually ran physical builds. Rushing Holy after learning just Cure on White Mages is surprisingly not too grindy. It is ironic that I was still branded a herectic even if I used Holy power to defeat the cardinal.😅

The fight vs Zalbaag has always been the saddest fight in FFT in my opinion... he was the only one who understood Ramza... :/

In general, it is also possible to advise in all battles where knights and thieves participate to put everyone without exception Maintainance. Why because knights like to use the battle skill, namely break helmet, armor, shield and weapon, and thieves use the skill to steal helmet, armor, shield, weapon and even an accessory. Even in a battle with Izlud. You should always take things from guests and give them things that are sold in the store, or give nothing.

4:40 as an option, you can put the ninja skill two swords in the monk's work and it will be even more powerful in close combat.

As for Lavian Alicia and Rad, there wasn't enough time to make their own sprite (unique character model), so they have a vanilla model. And as for taking them, I always take all three of them. It's a pity, of course, that they weren't revealed and they don't have a backstory and they didn't add a unique sprite and work, they're still cool.

I know you hate Bards but, I had so much fun with a Ramza bard during one of my gameplays, being the only male with magic attack, he was just chilling in the back healing everyone a lot and when needed, providing a ton of mp for my mages, you should try it sometime

Ahhh been waiting for this video for a while. 😊 Chapter 2 is the best imo. A lot of job opportunities, but nothing op. I agree Monks are always good and you can’t go wrong with them. You could use their Doom Fist against Gaffgarion. Black Mages and Summoners are great for chapter 2. Great video Jase!

Thank you for sharing this important information! especially for new players so they don't get stuck in certain areas. But you know? I'll tell you something that happened to me when I was young and played on my old PSX. About what you mention at minute 1:52, one day I was grinding because I couldn't defeat Gaffgarion! (Lionel Castle) I hadn't been able to leave that area for a long time, so I was sadly exploring the map with the cursor hahaha, when I mistakenly selected Eagrose Castle on the map. I said to myself "Damn! Now I'll have to lose against Gaffgarion again...". When Ramza moves to Lionel Castle (on the map), he suddenly kept moving across the map! Balias Tor, Zaland, Zeirchele Falls, etc. I finally arrived at Eagrose... I was in shock, what happened? Was it some kind of glitch? Anyway, I was so happy being free on the map again hahaha it is worth mentioning that in Eagrose and other cities there was new equipment, sleep sword, ancient sword and more. I reassembled my small army and was much better prepared for Gaffgarion. Did that happen to anyone else?

Current playthrough I'm trying out super early arithmetician, but I didn't want to be overleveled for the story, so I also leveled back down as chemist/bard. Totally not worth it, but the story battles are hilarious

Cloud was the first character in this game I was hooked on.

This game is so satisfying. I'm a late comer, damn I was missing out. Everyone plays differently and so well, there isn't really a "bad" character, and everyone is broken to some extent (which is good because I love being overpowered in single player fighters, ex. Dynasty Warriors). It even made me try out some of the other FF games. I might not have played FFV if it wasn't for this game. Easily my favorite, along with 10. YOU WILL FIND NO SUCH TASTY DIVERSIONS IN THE AFTERLIFE

My FFT history: my first playthrough almost got me soft locked against Izlude. I barely beat him. Luckily Wiegraf walks right out into the open and I barely beat him too. Then I got soft locked at Riovanous. Ahhh back when I only used knights. I didn’t realize how bad knights were in chapters 2 and 3. Being cocky and not bringing Orlandu can give you a game over to some random battles. Bringing Orlandu is insurance.

Fighting Izlude was kind of hard, I remember I had to re-run it a multiple times, as well as the one when I tried to save Mustabio with his first fight. Aha, there was also the desert fight VS machinist, when all your party is poisoned.

I remember in the castle of Lionel after the battle with Gafgarion I remember I could not defeat Kueklain. And I had to start before entering the castle of Lionel to knock things out of the enemies that will be available later in order to protect myself from his negative status death sentense and petrif. For me it was a discovery at that moment that one of his magic bio 2 can turn into stone and if all 5 characters turn into stone then this in turn is game over.

You cannot believe how mad I got that I got softlocked during the Belias fight. I learned my lesson after restarting the whole game again. 😭

I like extra movement more than protection from things. Aside from the fights against Thieves, it doesn't tend to bother me.

Childhood trauma, thanks for reminding me, Weigraf/Belias fight has gotten me a few times in the past. Never had to completely start over but Ive lost dozens of hours from him from forgetting to update my backup save.

The updated version is better. I put over 300hrs in the PS1 version n goin on 150 on the mobile wotl version.

The artist you are using for thumbnails makes FFT look FANTASTIC! I hope he'll be able to help me soon enough, or I'll find someone else who is able to accomplish such beautiful art for what little is available from FFT.

I hope they neuter Boco in a future remasater. I love having him on the squad but I hate having to eat all of his eggs.

I think the only time I ever got soft locked was on the PlayStation version. The only spot I could move to was that battle with Gafgarion, and I’d made some bad choices. I was very new to the game and left Ramza without gear to equip and had just switched him to a new class thinking I’d move on to the next city and buy his new gear. Gafgarion was killing Ramza in one or two attacks. Throw in that I had only one save file, and I had to restart the game. That made me start taking the game more seriously.

I still replay this game from time to time and remember how much fun I had in my childhood. Nice to see people are still making guide about it even years later

I got soft-locked by Grand Cross in final battle, because it doesn't cost MP which is biscuits. <_< ... also Arch Seraph has 12 speed (according to ff wiki), so there's also that. ;_; Not a real legitimate soft-lock, but currently trying to Dark Knight solo (now with a weak generic due to trying to get the goods: Chaos Blade, Ninja Gear, Grand Helm, Maximillian, Kaiser/Venetian shields, Ragnarok and Robe of Lords all just to see how well they'll help me with the Murond gauntlet) scamper through the Deep Dungeon and getting hit with hard encounters you're more than likely not prepared for at first. (10 undead on Bridge... <_< with no PDs) HONORABLE MENTION: Trying to START a Ramza solo run because surprisingly 2v5 in Gariland is not really easy. ¬_¬ All in all, great video. :)
