Yes, agreed. The first time I heard the original I was absolutely blown away by the keyboard and guitar solos. Blackmore literally makes his guitar sing on it.
It would sound better if you were listening to it on the cassette deck in your ‘73 Firebird while blasting through Death Valley.

One thing everyone needs to realize is that the original band will someday will no longer be with us. We need groups like this to carry on the sound of Rock. I, for one, am glad these people are here to do this.

Where have I been? These guys are fantastic! I gave up on Rock around 1989.
I had the pleasure of seeing these guys live about a month ago at a small venue in Clearwater,FL. and yea they were THAT GOOD in person. They alter their setlist from show to show so unfortunately they did another Deep Purple song that was damn near as good as this. I have seen a LOT of concerts in my day and I would honestly say this rates one of the best I have ever seen. Every song they performed was done to perfection!
To the person reading this, Good Luck! Don't stress, everything will be fine. No matter what difficulty you are facing right now, you can overcome it! You are strong and brave. 😃😃😍

This Performance of Purples Highway Star IMHO is one of the best that i have ever heard outside of Purple themselves . I would definitely pay to see these guys kicking ass Live . ABSOLUTELY TRUE re sound techs great job. At those volumes feedback is a bitch to control even WITH sound gates. I was a sound tech for 20 plus years. It is not an easy job. This cover of a great song is superb. Makes me want to get my fingers on a nice big sound board even though I am 66 years old

The drummer is excellent. After listening to several tunes he is very adept to shifting to the original drummer’s style. His Paice snare riffs are spot on being based on Ian’s extremely fast double pdiddles
