    The baby in the video is not a newborn. I just got my omni 360 today and i tried it with my newborn. However, my newborn cannot open her legs enough to sit. We need more time to start to use this carrier. I think the only difference between ergobaby 360 and 360 omni is the extra pocket. if I cannot use this carrier with my newborn without infant insert why do I pay twice money? Just for extra pocket? No thanks!

      You dont need an insert with the omni only the regular 360

    Is there any other way to close the back clip? I can’t reach it from above my shoulders at all. I can reach from below to undue it, but can’t close it by myself.

      @@ErgobabyUS Support replied to my email with a link to this youtube video, which is hilarious, but also provided three useful tips which I am reproducing here for everyone's edification:
      (1) Position the waistband at your belly button level and tighten. Your waistband should be parallel to the floor. This will provide a deep seat so your baby's bottom can be lower than his knees. This will create a comfortable position for baby.
      (2) Place your baby against your chest, put on the shoulder straps and tighten. It looks like the shoulder straps can be tightened a bit more to create a better fit.
      (3) Ensure that the back strap is at about mid-shoulder blade level. The straps should look like the letter "H" on your back. Positioning the back strap correctly will help to ensure that the carrier is comfortable for you.

      Nick Lauren good tips! I tried getting my 9 pounder in the carrier myself today and it was not happening! Once I saw the baby’s size they used for the video, I knew this wouldn’t help! Will be trying again tomorrow using your advice! Thanks!

      This doesn’t seem to have been designed for tall blokes. To get the bambino at the right height to kiss, I’ve got to have the “waist” belt right up on my ribs. And can I get the babies head to be mid-ear on the head rest whilst also getting the frog (M) position with the legs? Balls can I. The knees slump straight down if I get the head height right and eventually the baby just submarines in the damn thing anyway and Dare not do it up any tighter! Works fine on my wife who is shorter and has boobs though!
      Maybe my baby doesn’t have a long enough body? Maybe I do need to just pull it in tighter? But then that risks losing the C position with the back.

    My baby is 7.1 lbs and 10 days old I think he is not happy having his legs splayed apart keeps tucking them in. Is this definitely for newborns ?

  • @tarasteinmetz5205
    @tarasteinmetz5205 Před 2 lety +4

    This is not designed for a newborn no matter what they claim. I’ve had two babies in mine now and my 2nd is taller and bigger and the carrier still is huge even when my baby is 11lbs and 23”. I am a small person too, so maybe slender persons plus tiny babies don’t work when using this carrier. It’s great once the baby is older and much bigger though.
