  • Weather. Lots of it. Loads of weather. ITV National Weather, LWT Weather, Carlton Weather, all the weather. Weather weather, all together, what's it gonna do? Weather, weather, weather, weather, weather.
Also some full ad breaks (from back when Amazon needed to advertise), promos, TravelTalk, and even the opening title sequence of an edition of The South Bank Show, purely because I like the tune. These clips all come from the same tape, and seem to be from consecutive days in November 2000, with one evidently falling on Remembrance Sunday of that year.
Many thanks to @David315842 for sending me this tape.
(If you're a copyright holder and have any objections, please feel free to contact me. Alternatively, I haven't monetised the video, so you're welcome to do so, and that way everybody wins.)

'Weather' or not you like the man, Andrew Lloyd Webber did create a memorable tune and yes that was why I wanted to record the opening sequence to the South Bank Show. :D No doubt we'll likely see the 1999 Eclipse coverage and accompanying weather at some point here too. A show like Travel Talk would still hold merit in London today, probably London Live has something like that on with the local news I suppose. Thanks again for uploading these 'ghostly' clips. :D

Thank _you,_ as always! That TravelTalk thing was something new on me, because I don't think where I've lived has ever been busy enough to warrant that sort of thing. Also the national weather and local weather being done by the same person, a few minutes apart - it never even crossed my mind that that's bound to happen in one region.
And, yes, I found the eclipse footage, but haven't clipped it yet. I'll get round to it soon.

@@VideotapeFTW Since London is pretty much an urban city, travel reports like that can be quite useful. On the morning broadcasts as part of GMTV, London Today would often quickly cut to a similar studio where they monitor CCTV footage of busy roads. Nowadays the BBC London News in the mornings would let you know about the local train services, in case there is rail works going on etc. Something like that was more common in the mornings due to the morning rush hour. Because the national weather was done in London, they would have the same weather forecasters do the local weather shortly afterwards. Of course, if you didn't live in the London region at the time you wouldn't have known. As always there is no rush to get these things uploaded, I just imagined that those would probably be uploaded at some point since you done this compilation, do take your time and as always, you're welcome. :)

The word high is kinda mixed up during the first ITV National Weather report.

It wasn't confused, that was Wednesday's forecast, that would have been after Tuesday which had the unsettled weather.

I probably will be uploading more weather forecasts, especially if this video proves popular. I can't guarantee anything specific, though - just whatever I find.

@@VideotapeFTWDon't bow down to pressure to upload things by people. Decide what you want to upload and when you want to do it. People making demands to you for things like that should find their own material and upload it themselves. Just a thought.
