Hey Anna , I've watched the video of Lloyd Austin that Jake Broe played . He didn't say he discourages attacking oil refineries . He did say he doesn't condone it but didn't criticise Ukraine openly for choosing them as targets . A person in his position has to choose his wording very carefully . Of course there are Russian trolls who will twist this to make it sound like he's verbally attacking Ukraine when that was not the case . Anyways bring on the F-16's and Slava Ukraini !

Anna, we are all frustrated by the fact that it seems that the US are, for internal political reasons, not doing enough for Ukraine. I recommend a CZcams blogger, called "Joe Blogs" who just issued a video titled "RUSSIAN Trade with China Stopped by Sanctions as Chinese Banks Refuse Payments As Sanctions Increase". Actions that stem from the US, not spoken much about, but could contribute in making a decisive contribution that could soon stop the war.

No, not 'internal political reasons--- at least, not in any ordinary sense. But rather the fact that we have 1 of 2 parties (2 party systems are so stupid) which is at this point pretty openly allied with the kremlin. THey have been for a decade but it was covert at first now they barely try to hide it anymore. This is not a 'whoopsie' this enemies of Ukraine and the USA working to undermine and sabotage from within until they can seize power and take the USA out of NATO completely.

I referred to a report saying that commercial exchanges between countries such as China and India with western countries are made increasingly difficult as a consequence of their business ties with Russia. The fact that India is no longer buying petrol from Russia is an example. Long delays in payments through international banks are creating shortage of cash in Russia. I suggest that you watch the video from Joe Blogs and don't open your beak before your eyes as chicks do.

You can get some JAS 39 planes when your pilots are trained and it's probably the same time as the F16 planes will arrive (it's all maintenance and other things except pilots that need to be trained).
When it comes to bombing refineries, the US said they didn't recommend that you do that without taking out factories that made military materials (so it wasn't a condemnation that you stop doing that but they wanted you to take out war factories in Russia)
(here in Sweden, gasoline has risen in price 0.15-0.2€/L but we will take that as long as the Russians lose money and the war)
