More or less redundant after the last video, but I still wanted to show the full quest for archive sake, along with how to get Taken bosses in case you're unlucky with the Pauurc spawn.

My favorite part of this quest was waiting 15 min for this guy to spawn, getting the orb, powering it and dunking it, only for the boss to immediately despawn because a public event happened. Faster to just kill taken bosses from the events
I did two Heroic Public Events, and two "enemy move agenst each other" events and got it done in about 20 minutes
I tried doing this, but after a few seconds of picking up the orb after killing the saboteur, it dissappeared from my hands. Forcing me to wait again. I Didn't bother with this and just killed enough bosses and mini bosses instead
That’s exactly what happened to me 💀
I got flooded by taken mini bosses before I ever saw the Saboteur. So I finished it that way

I just killed many ads in that area, 2 cycles of yellow bar enemies and eventually the quest was completed! I did not kill the main boss! 😂

I screwed up and hit shoot and yeeted that demon core across the map on accident. In the process of waiting for another to spawn I reached the mark for boss kills

Robe is from deep stone crypt
Legs and arms idk
Arms are from Vault of Glass
Legs are from Duality

Eso, thanks for the guide. Bungie, please make your game for the gamer experience. Put in a triggering event to kick things off. I've done 2 "enemies moving against each other" and 2 public events and I'm at 23%. This is pretty rough, Bungo.
Man i just deposited the charge, and it didn't work. No "A good deed is awarded" text or anything
Now if only the ball would actually spawn after the kill, it would be great. Or the ball would stop disappearing 8 seconds after picking it up, or the summoned boss wouldn't despawn when a Public Event happens.
