That's some really great insight. I was wondering where the inspiration for the Jordan 9s came from. This iridescent double swoosh on the Jordan 1 matches all the other Nikes golf releases, but the Jordan 9 sticks out... in a good way. Best CW in a while.
Jacques, I think you're slipping because I'm pretty sure you covered this. The hands on the strobel board is actually the praying hands logo that Nike used for their Masters collection to represent Amen Corner. That sparked Augusta to send a crease and desist order to Nike. Nike then pulled most of the merch and shoes from releasing that year. That dark green reptile leather on on white mud guard on the Jordan 11... that was such a great CW that never happened.
IMO, Nike added this easter egg to give Augusta the middle finger... while avoiding any lawsuit by making appear to be clapping hands.
