Hi. This is our new video. This video, we received a parcel from China. In the mailer was a makita hammer, which was seriously damaged by a fire. the machine was not working, we repaired it. we removed the parts of the machine, the damaged parts could not be restored and we replaced them. We remove rust with Hcl solution. After a lot of working time, we repaired and restored the device. We sent the device back to the owner and the repair fee was $ 100. Thanks for watching.

When your replacement parts are probably made in China, it's probably easy to get them when you live in Asia, fairly cheap too I would assume. Love the kitchen knife grease applicator, an original :). Overall great restoration for a tool that looked like it had come to the end of its life cycle. Good as new now.

Painting the inside of mechanical components is common, but special oil proof paint is used, and only certain areas are painted. The crank case inside some types of engines are painted to improve oil flow. The rough cast iron finish slows down oil return to the sump and can cause problems with too much oil being on the walls of the crank case and not enough in the sump, leading to increased engine wear.
