One of my first jobs was as a nanny to a ten-year-old boy. I didn't even know they had a nanny cam until the mom asked how I was getting him to eat vegetables, because he wouldn't eat ANY vegetables for his parents. I admitted I was smothering his vegetables in nacho cheese sauce and was slowly adding less cheese over time. His mom laughed because she had never thought of doing that. I was kind of sad when they moved, I liked that kid. He eats broccoli with no problem, now.

Would never of worked with me, texture is a big problem and brocolli and cauliflower florets are some of the worst offenders. I can eat cauliflower mash and pulverised broccoli, but any trace of texture from florets, i cant swallow it, even as an adult

@@Bossman64197 I got over (yes, got over) my chemical pregnancy (still hurt the same) miscarriage by both immediately becoming pregnant again and telling myself that it would be the same soul. Who can say if it is? I dreamed about talking to a daughter, but I had a son.
I was married, child was planned, two healthy children before, hence just immediately trying again. As shocking and absolutely sad as chemical pregnancies are, they are extremely common. But I couldn't be happier with my little sticky bean, he is perfect although demanding as all children are.
My mam also had a miscarriage my oldest sister I still wonder what it's like having a big sister luckily I have my other sister the youngest one I'm sad when thinking about it

The one about the clorox wipes really got to me. I bought them by mistake while in the Military and used one to try and clean myself. To say that it "burned" is an understatement. I had to douse the area in water for several minutes and it still hurt for a significant length of time afterward.
There is absolutely NO doubt in my mind the baby sitter knew what they were. She would be able to feel the sensation on her hand after a short time. They have a very strong smell, too.
I don't wish ill will on people, but I would not have blamed the father if he had he held her down and cleaned her face with one. Using that on a baby is unconscionable.
The pet stories are so lovely. Just what I needed on the graveyard shift at work :).
Our dog-dog (cavalier King Charles) learned how to open the larder door and find the dog biscuits. We noticed once when he brought them into the living room and sat with us on the sofa while watching TV. That was impressive for a dog-dog who usually had the iq of a geranium.
It wasn't on a nanny cam, and we kept him out of the main house during the day, but dog-dog was so sweet we forgave him for it.

Enough years ago that I donât mind saying, we came home a little earlier than expected to find our babysitter looking somewhat flushed with her boyfriend (not supposed to be there but also known to us). Now Iâm not saying what they might have been doing, but 40 weeks or so later they were in their own need of babysitters.

Yeah, my grandfather (who was living with me and blind) had a home health aid come by every few days to help him with basic hygiene stuff... Trimming his toe nails, shaving, etc.
It would be a different nurse sometimes, you never knew who the agency would send. One who I had not met before must've assumed he lived alone, and didn't know I was there. I just happened to walk past his bedroom and the nurse is in there completely topless. I glance over and there's some strange lady with her tits out, lol. She and I locked eyes for a second and I just kept walking and didn't say anything.
I have a few theories.
1) She spilled something on her, and he was blind, so she probably figured "what the hell" and was just getting changed. It's plausible, it's messy work sometimes.
2) He was blind, maybe she was testing that to make sure, lol. Maybe she got some kind of exhibitionist thrill from exposing herself to blind people. I've seen the internet, people have weird kinks, I don't judge.
3) He was getting some. I find this the least plausible. He was old-school Catholic, never so much as looked at another woman even after my grandmother passed (20 years prior to him), and was always a bit of a prude. It would have been very unlike him. But hey, if he was, way to go gramps. But this is a guy, who before he lost his vision completely would change the channel on TV if it showed a woman in a bathing suit, so I doubt it, but you never know.
However, there's another possibility that I am aware of. It's well known that there are a lot of dirty-old-men who hit on nurses. But lesser known, there are nurses who will basically prostitute themselves out to these men. If you're a hooker, this is a line of work that puts you in contact with a very viable customer demographic. Older guys who don't pose any sort of physical threat to the girl, who often have a decent amount of savings, as a nurse you'd know if they had any STDs, most of them are single (divorced, widowed, etc), and if they were inclined to seek out a working-girl, they would need one who came to them anyway. For a hooker, it's shooting fish in a barrel, and a good way to augment their salary (or maybe score some pills). If anyone complains, they can deny, deny, deny, because a lot of their patients are borderline senile, have dementia or are just not taken all that seriously. I know for a fact that another girl told him "I'll suck your dick for $1,000". This is evidently not that unheard of. I might have interrupted her sales pitch, lol.
She saw me, made no attempt to cover up, just coyly smirked, and I was getting "hooker vibes" from her immediately. Her demeanor, body language, etc. This service wasn't sending RNs, it was those people who got an "As seen on TV" 18-month online home health care certificate (which is fine if your job is washing ass), so they were hiring from the same social caste that most hookers occupy. I don't know for sure, it might have been innocent, I don't want to profile her as a hooker if she's not, but it evidently does happen... more so than you might think.

There's nothing that makes my blood boil more than just letting a child cry alone in a room and the amount of stories here where that happens makes me so angry.
My grandma used to lock me in a dark room until I cried myself to sleep as a kid when she babysat me overnight, and when I found out that she did that to my youngest brother (a toddler at the time, who's got autism) I was livid to the point where I wanted to chew her out right then and there because she'd traumatized me and was doing the same to my brother who just needed someone to lie with him in the dark.
I used to babysit for this lady who told me I was not allowed to check on the baby or her other toddler if they cried, she even had a nanny cam in there to make sure! I would text her and ask over a few hours when they would wake up if I could go in to settle them since if one ended up crying the other would too. She would always say no. I only babysat three times before I quit, the last time I actually went in and she called me saying she could see on the nanny cam and that I was âruining her night.â I hope those poor kids are ok and donât have any lasting trauma from it :(

@@neff6185 it was a technique called "self-soothe" that was popular in the early and mid 2000s.. but recently was told it does more harm then good.. as people would do it to younger and younger kids. the Idea was, kids did it for attention, and only attention And being spoiled.
now a days it told you are cruel as kids have differing levels of needs and affection.

I love hearing about people being so kind to animals. I really love when you hear about grown men going all mushy over an animal. Like the dude who was gently speaking to the bunny about wanting to pet and see how fluffy it was. Melts my heart every time!
The family members who âhate animalsâ are almost always the ones who know that they mean the most to the other family members, such as story 10. My brother hates dogs, just isnât an animal person. But he never was mean or nasty to our childhood dogs growing up, and even petted them a couple times in their long lives. They would both freeze with their tails wagging uncontrollably, not wanting the moment to end but being too worried any sort of âdoggie businessâ would scare him away.
He lives with my mother still due to high rent in the area, and my mom had two new dogs since the others passed so many years ago, much larger ones. And they started treating him the same way after they left puppyhood. Heâd make sure they were cared for when they were out of town, and the two boys would be the most behaved theyâd ever been with my brother out of respect for the ânot-a-dog-personâ.
Don't hate animals, they are tiring and people put them on an pedestal that's irrational.

My grandma doesn't like pets, but now she likes having our dog over when we visit. I wasn't there, but my mom video taped my grandma petting a dog while they went for a walk for two seconds and then saying very matter of fact, "Ok that's enough" it was hilarious
My family fostered a goffin's cockatoo for a while and my dad insisted that he hated it, but the bird would start dancing and squawking every time he walked in, and my dad would always bob his head and dance with him. The same went for my brother's cat, who loved to snuggle up to him and only him. He insisted he didn't like her, but I caught him a lot letting her poke at his hair and snuggle up next to him while he worked.
I love dogs, and especially cats (my first pet, named Bear, is a cat after all), but I just get so terrified of the big dogs whenever they jump up and try to âhugâ me the few times thatâs happened. Iâm better now, but Iâm still scared of certain types of dogs

Not exactly a nanny or involving a nanny cam, but I have one. When I was 11 or 12, I baby-sat one of my friends. His older brother was always the golden boy because of his love of sports and cars. He's a lot like me, more of a music and movies kind of guy. One night, they caught me hugging him because he was crying and extremely depressed. They got mad at him about crying over his grandfather that passed away a week prior and on top of that, they didn't let him go to the funeral. He got grounded for a month and they found a different baby-sitter. He and I remained friends, up to the age of 14. He got put into a boys home and I haven't seen him since. The last thing he did before he had to leave was kiss me and tell me that he loved me. I hope he's doing alright, after all these years.

i myself was the babysitter, but it was caught on nannycam: the boy i was babysitting for had a light near his bed since he was scared of the darkness, but then came with the creative solution of putting a pillow up against the lamp to dim it...
it was a relatively old lamp, which got really hot after about 20-30 minutes and somehow the pillow ended up on fire (started smoking which turned to small flames)
i went into the room because i could smell the fire/smoke and when entering the room even saw the smoke, picked up the pillow and took it to the bathroom (dumb idea to carry burning pillows, lucky the flames werent too big yet and hadnt spread away from the pillow either) and threw it into the bathtub, plugged said bathtub and filled it with water to put out the flames
then i went back to his room, woke him up and opened a window to let the smoke out, then took him to the bathroom to close the sink (to not overflow the bathtub) and took him downstairs to go play
then the parents came home, i explained the situation and then lost my shit about the fact that not a single one of the 3 fire alarms i went past with the pillow (including the one in his room) worked at all (old batteries in every alarm across the house) and ended up being deemed a local hero despite the situation being relatively tame (which i guess could be because of how fast i acted and focussed on putting out the flames? idk)
this happened about 6 or 7 years ago when i was 15, so i dont fully remember all details
the smoke is a bigger problem than the flames, if it stayed like that for a while with the window closed even just smoke inhalation could have done serious damage to the kid

I have autism and I was non verbal when I was 5 years old. My grandparents were both lawyers who worked alot so I needed a babysitter, her name was Rosalie and she was crazy from what i remember. She used to pull knives on this other child she brought over. I couldn't tell my grandmother so I had to draw it. My grandfather installed cameras all around the house and while I was sleeping on the footage was her beating the child with a belt, she has been arrested since then.
This was surprisingly wholesome with the stories of the nannies/babysitters doing sweet things, just because they can.
But seriously, screw those bad apples among the crowd.
My wholesome story (or rather, my mom's story) I only recently heard of this. I have always had an affinity for language. I am fluent in French and English. However, when I was just one year old, my mom hired a nanny for me. Wonderful older Chinese woman, didn't speak much English. At one point my mother got worried because, at that age, I should have been able to hear my mom tell me to touch my nose and touched my nose. I could not do this. She brings it up with the nanny, and nanny goes "What? Of course he can!" and so my mom demonstrates. I do noting. The nanny does it, and I do it. The difference? Nanny said it in Chinese.
When I was a kid, my parents worked all day in 6 days of the week and only came home at like, 8PM, so they hired babysitters full time, 6AM to 8PM, to stay with me while they were at work. There once was this one babysitter that, when I was going to the kitchen get some water, I caught her picking some plastic bags out of the drawer to get something that I couldnât exactly see what it was, so when my parents came home, I told them what I saw. They got very mad with the babysitter and asked her to show everything she was carrying in her backpack, and she was actually stealing *a lot* of stuff from our kitchen, from silverware to plates and even freaking tupperware. The plastic bags that I saw her picking up were to be used as fodder to prevent the plates from breaking inside her backpack. After this, they started to make full blown interviews before simply hiring a babysitter by recommendation, to make sure this kind of thing wouldnât be happening again, and yes, they called the police shortly after and told them everything. Sadly, I donât know if she was arrested or not, after she left my home that day Iâve never heard of her ever again.

My kid is 3 and still hasn't realized the camera in his room means I can see him. We only go in there to change him or when he's being put to bed or got up for the day. All his toys are in the living room. Sometimes when he's supposed to be sleeping, he'll start playing with the pillows or jumping on his bed. I say over the camera, "lay down, " and he drops immediately while looking around. đ€Šđ»ââïžđđ

I wish I could've posted my story on that AskReddit. I got a short story, fuzzy details since I was still an infant, and my dad told me the story years later, but I'll make it quick. So, it's not a nanny cam story, but it still involves a babysitter. This girl, probably somewhere between 16-19, was hired to babysit me while my mom and dad went somewhere. Either a date or a check-up at the doctor since my mom was pregnant with my little sister atm. All seemed fine until my parents got home, heard me cry, and saw my babysitter holding me by my ankles, slung over my shoulder. I'm basically freaking out, one slip away from falling soft baby headfirst onto linoleum tiles, and my dad runs over and grabs me from her and starts to scold her. She's sitting on the couch and getting yelled at by my dad (I had been passed to my mom, who's consoling me in another room) when she... um... "propositions" herself to him... She was run out of the house, being cussed out by my dad. She did not get paid. Or laid. Smash cut to, well, the rest of my childhood and into my adult life, and I have crippling acrophobia (the fear of heights). I have freaking panic attacks on the damn Ferris Wheel because of this bitch.

A shocking story but has a good ending. This was in 2019 & we had this nice lady from Vietnam đ»đł that went to the USA đșđž. She would come over for therapy sessions & one day my brother was chocking on a dum dum lollipop & the lady preformed the heimlich remover on my brother that saved his life.

My parents asked me to look after the house, dogs and brothers for a weekend whilst they take a vacation with the caravan.
In the living room there was a 360° motion detecting camera that they used to literally spy on me and how I was doing.
So one night my mom is suspicious of me because my older brother messaged her that I was having a party...
I wasn't, he's a dick.
So she opened the app, turned the camera towards the settees and she saw me and my brothers under a duvet watching a film with the 4 dogs laid with us.
She then took a screenshot and messaged me saying thats adorable.
Now whenever I look after the house and see the camera moving, I give them the rods so they know.
We have 4 security cameras as we dont live in the best of areas and they checked it when they we t on holiday to see if anyone had vandalised or tried to break in.
They saw me walk outside and call the cat, the cat wouldn't come so I shouted that he's a old hairy C bomb and I have food.
The cat then appeared out if nowhere and you could hear a few neighbours laughing.
"Get a show they didn't pay for" Sounds like there's more to that story and shes not just babysitting.

16:28 when I was probably nine or ten, I was at a party where one kid a few years younger than me was doing this to his five-year-old cousin while we were all sat at the same table (no one else that close by/paying attention). I told him (semi-nicely) to stop a few times, but eventually I lost my patience and told him loudly to stop being a jerk- just as his father walked by. He started yelling at me, which caught my godfatherâs attention, and he started yelling at his friend for âtalking to his goddaughter like that.â Heâs usually a SUPER chill dude, but next thing I knew, they were literally rolling around on the ground fighting. I found out years later that theyâd been having issues and this was just the last straw, but I felt super scared & guilty at the time! While also being proud of myself for standing up for the younger kid. He was lactose intolerant so physically not able to have the food he was being taunted with, not that that should matter, but his cousin knew that so it was even meaner
My parents were born in the late 20's and the early 40's, and grew up under supervised. I was the babysitter from age six. We had a sort of nanny who lived in a cottage at the end of the driveway, but she was from the 20's, too, and ran my dad's business, we weren't her job unless there was an emergency, and there never was. I believed I had to care for my sister to earn my parents love.
They tried a babysitter, once, but other adults were kinder and more patient with us. After the first time my sister asked why the babysitter wasn't mean, I got promoted from little boy to caregiver.
I'm still trying to save the world.

Iâm a babysitter and these twins I look after, their favorite word is âdumbass!â Itâs the funniest thing ever when they just walk around saying bc I couldnât find the apples
im a pet sitter and 2 things stand out for me, once i was going to throw out their trash and on the way back in the house i slipped and went flying, like shoe airborn, i was sad to learn it wasnt caught on the ring, another time diffrent place, i had accidentally let a dog out without her leash and i had lost her, after about 15 minutes of looking for her i called the owners, i got her back on call and told the owners, later that night they were anxious and popped in on the camera and i called her over to say hi to her moms and show them she was ok, and all the critters were fine, i feel really bad for that last one since it was christmas day and its a horrible call of some teen losing your dog
Very similar to our dog. However it was the day after Christmas, and she was never found. Someone was pet sitting her and she jumped the fence. Has been missing for about two months now. No sign of her. We miss her terribly.
That one story about the bunnies leaving the house, to go back later and close the gate like nothing happened broke me, it was like a cartoon
A year or so ago my Mom and I went on vacation for a week, but the normal person we hired wouldnât be available. So we obviously found someone who we THOUGHT we could trust, one of my good friendâs sister. (Skip to the day we were coming home). We got word from our amazing neighbors saying that they had noticed that our pet sitter would only come to our house for less than 10 minutes, 2 times a day, despite us having 4 pets, 2 dogs and 2 cats. Apparently this girl would let out the dogs and practically yell at our dogs to come in after less than 2 minutes of them being out. We came home quicker than planned to check on our pets and found that our bigger dog had chewed through 3 different layers of flooring. How did he do that? We donât know, all we know is that we later had to replace the whole houseâs flooring because of it which costed thousands. I recently met this girl and was not surprised. She acted like she ran the place and was the only person who mattered. Safe to say, that girl was in a LOT of trouble by her parents (my mom and my friendâs dad work together so they contacted each other a lot).
For anyone who doesnât believe the story about the rabbits opening the gate, I can confirm that rabbits are very intelligent. In fact, we had to modify the cage for my sisterâs rabbit several times because she kept escaping. We still donât know how she got out the last few times.

I remember a teacher of mine who babysat for a friend. She was asked to babysit for this dog, who was a bit of a terror. The teacher was stern, but fair, and was ready for anything. It was supposed to be an overnight thing, but my friend and her wife came home early to find the teacher crying, on the floor, holding the dog in her arms. The dog was fine, but the teacher was a wreck. After trying to gather herself, she had explained that she had lost her dog recently, a cocker spaniel that was really old, one of the few âfriendsâ she had, gone with her through all her moves, a dog loyal to the end. My friendâs dog was a cocker spaniel and⊠it brought up past memories. The dog had behaved so well, it was jarring for my friend. The dog, and that teacher, they werenât quite the same after that, and my friend and her wife still visit the teacher occasionally, bringing their dog to visit. It was⊠honestly, really sad.

I had put security cameras outside and inside my house. One is mounted on top a book case. Right after installing them I was at work and thought "Hey. I'll check my cameras on the phone and see what the hell that cat of mine is doing." When I looked at the displays and got to the one on the bookcase, all I saw was a green eyeball staring at me. My cat had just so happened to have laid on his side on top the case and for some reason was looking in the camera. I miss that cat.
This is a bit different, but when I was only in third grade, my babysitter's teenage son would fluctuate between bullying me or cornering me to try to kiss/touch me inappropriately. Thankfully, my mom stopped sending me there. It turned out that the sitter was aware of the harassment, but would play dumb when confronted about it. She always tried to use his autism as a crutch, as if that justified his behavior and my resulting trauma.
I'm older, like 67. Please keep in mind that this was during the 1960s when the world was way cooler than it is now. My dad had 2 sisters. Both of which lost their husbands in WW2 or the Korean War. They lived together and were basically spinsters. I was 6 - 9 years old. They were my babysitters. They come over or I'd go to their house . They spent quality time teaching me how to play poker and would offer me a beer to taste. I told my folks what we did. They were cool with it and my dad's sisters stayed on as my sitters. I turned out to be a pretty good poker player....and an avid beer drinker!

I really needed these wholesome stories, even though they were mixed in with a few non-wholesome stories they still make me happy. I especially liked the ones with pet sitters spending waaaaay more time with the pets than they're getting paid to do, and that one with the dad who "didn't want the bunnies" was freakin adorable and reminds me so much of my dad. He's good with animals but doesn't usually have pets of his own, but boy can he make friends with one real quick. My dog that was previously abused and doesn't usually trust anyone new literally just LOOKED at him and decided "this one's nice enough, time for friendship." Which is the opposite of most people's reactions cuz the man's 6ft tall with a redneck beard and is absolutely jacked lol
A babysitter stole 2 tickets to Bob Segar. Several months later her and her bf show up at the bar where I worked. I called my husband and he came down and had a "chat" with her bf. The bf pissed his pants while Hubby took everything the man had on him and said "you can have this back IF you bring me the money for the tickets". Sure 'nuf! The next Friday bf was there with the money!
And nope. He didn't get his shit back. Just call it an asshole tax. đ

my babysitter turned out to be a heroine addict (she never did anything to harm me, I loved her to death when I was little), but after my mom found that out, she never babysat me again.
I went to a daycare as kid with about 14 other kids and just one babysitter. My awful experiences include being locked in a back bedroom because I was âtoo wild to nap with the other kids (I have and had adhd)â, being forced to dig out and eat food I couldnât eat out of the trash can and throwing it up, getting soap in my mouth when her niece bit me, and getting locked in a different bedroom to sleep when a kid slammed my face into a wall and made me pass out from blood loss out of my nose. Needless to say I stopped attentending the second a bus stop was close to my house.
Most of these restored my hope in humanity, especially the one about the not stealing 600 dollars, most people would grab the money then ran.
Reminds me of when I was in high school. Everyone else said theyd have kept the money, even those that shouldnt say things like that to kids.
When I was babysitting this rich family's kids, their beautiful siamese cat with beautiful blue eyes came downstairs. I asked the youngest what her name was. he said "her name is Johnny." I was like "huh, that's an odd name" and brought it up to the mom later. She said "....the cat's name is Misty..." all awkward like. I'd babysat them like 10 times and she never called me back after that day, lol. I still wonder if maybe they had a camera and watched me call their cat Johnny all day while they were gone hahaha

When I was 3, my female babysitter brought a bunch of men in and they had a party. But I told my mother about it after she asked what had gone on while she was away, I enjoyed the party and was too young to understand and was upset that she stopped using that babysitter. I would have thought some of those guys were like rough, dodgy looking men if older, but I treated everyone there as if they were all my babysitters because I thought they were, and no one did anything bad to me.
The fact that my shi-tzu that is very big for a shi tzu, jumped onto chair and then on table and ate my cookies.... Yeah it happend to me as well

When I was a child I had a babysitter, it was the kind where a bunch of parents drop their kids off at the sitters house and she watched them there. I was the oldest of all the kids, about 8 years old, and would constantly be put in charge of a bunch of toddlers while the baby sitter went and did other things. She went inside while we were outside, with the doors locked so we couldnât go inside. Which would typically turn out horribly as you can imagine. She would punish me for not taking care of them properly and of course I would cry and then Iâd be hit and sent to the corner. Also there were a couple babies, like still in dipers, canât walk, canât talk, and when they would cry sheâd hit them over and over till they were absolutely screaming their heads off! I wouldnât tell my mom because I thought this was normal until one day my sister had fallen and busted up her face pretty bad, she cried, then got hit for crying, went home crying and all scratched up. I told my mom about everything that happened at the babysitters and we stopped going. Years later when I was like 12 we heard that she went to jail for accidentally killing an infant child by putting them to sleep with blankets. Sheâs out of jail now, people in my town still let her baby sit their kids.

We had a reverse situation. We don't have a landline, but when we switched phone providers we acquired a third line as well as a phone, which became the babysitter phone for those who don't have their own (quite a few where I live). Anyway, a rumor spread in the community that naughty images were found on this phone by one of the babysitters, so we ended up on some babysitter blacklist. After investigation, one of our kids found the phone and snapped candids of me and the wife changing....and those were the "naughty images" the babysitter found.
Nothing exciting that I remember. Had one when I was like 3 and nothing stands out. Had another one around age 8 and he was the older brother of one of my friends. We watched cartoons, played ping pong and when I put on "cops" he actually asked if I was allowed to watch it (I was). Great guy, heard he died of an undiagnosed heart problem a few years ago. RIP Josh!

Not really a babysitting, but I caught one of my staff smoking meth in a linen closet when I was managing a group home. It sucked, cuz she was damn good at the job, probably because she was on meth the whole time.
Iâve been a nanny for about 3 years but Iâve only ever worked for 2 families. The first family I worked for had a nanny cam in the babyâs bedroom but I had no idea. This story happened when the baby was about 9 months old and just learning how to stand
I had just finished doing the babyâs laundry and had her in her bedroom with me while I was folding the clothes. My back was turned for a second and the baby had tried to climb on the medium sized bookshelf. I heard it shaking and right when it was about to fall on top of the baby, I leaped in and stopped it from falling but in the process, a few books fell down and one knocked me right on the forehead and it was bleeding. It wasnât serious but it did hurt. I looked down and thankfully no books hit the baby and she was just staring at me with a confused look. Next thing I knew, I heard a robotic voice say âARE YOU OKAY?!!!â And I was just looking around the room trying to figure out where it came from. I answered âYeeeeah?â And then the voice said âOkay good! Iâm sorry about that! Sheâs never done that before! Weâll fix it when we get home!â And I realized it was the babyâs father. Turns out the nanny cam also had a microphone so thatâs how he could talk to me. He happened to be watching me and his baby when that happened. They paid me an extra $15 for getting injured on the job. Thankfully they did fix the situation and replaced the bookshelf with a book treasure box.
This is the most wholesome one Iâve seen.

Sounds like a kleptomaniac, as in, actual kleptomania disorder. The people that suffer from it steal on impulse, without much rhyme or reason and without considering things like value or usefulness.

(The camera does not work that well)
Unrelated story, but the baby sitter's baby got mad and threaten me saying "i will kill you".

So my mom had these trusted maids who would clean our house right? So one, one of them brought their son.
We were upstairs eating sushi celebrsting my sisters birthday, later that day I hear my mom crying because her mothers ring (her mother passed away) was gone. Turns out it was stolen by the son.
We knew it wasnt their fault but we starting always cleaning on the saturdays sfter that
I WAS the nanny. I came to this family once a week, it was set in stone. I went over and went to the bathroom, started crying. The bathroom was right next to the kiddoâs room, and what I didnât know was that they had an audio nanny cam!!! So they came back, I was fired, etc. But when they needed a sitter two weeks later, who did they call? Me, of course. I said no, why did you even fire me anyway. She says it was because I was crying and I said well, listen, ya little ****, maybe next time donât fire someone the day after their father died and she felt SO bad. Long story short I went back to my old schedule, with a raise since I went unconditionally.
Story from a friend: He had hired a nanny for his chocolate lab. She was overall nice, but sometimes got mad. He had installed cameras to survey the area, and make sure nothing went bad. She brought machete for "self defense" and she got mad one day. She decapitated the dog, and ate him, throwing the head at kids in a basketball court, and ran away. We miss him. The nanny was imprisoned for life.

My grandma never found out. Once he was on a bus with his latest conquest and he looks up and his wife is seating a few seats away.
