I was interested in these.. this video is the nail in the coffin! I gotta grab myself a pair :]
I wouldn't buy these you will be sorry I've had mine since day one there too too too heavy for every day usage they gave me a severe neck pain and headache I play 5 to 7 hours every day I haven't used mine for 5 months they might be good if you play 1 hour a day casual gaming 3 times a month if you want the best best sound go wired I'm waiting for the meze 109 pro wired headphones suppose to be in today and get you a decent dac amp I have the fiio k9 and the nova pro dac sound will not get any better than that stay safe and happy gaming to all
@@jamesstevens968 Thank you for your concerns, but I think I will be fine with this choice.
I've had some pretty hefty headphones above 400 grams in the past years. I usually wore them all day long and I've never had any fatigue due to the weight on my neck.
I already have a great audio setup focused on a natural sound signature. So having a gaming focused pair of Bluetooth headphones would be a great addition to the setup.
The only Bluetooth headphones I own right now are my 4 year old Skullcandy Crusher Evo's. They're a really fun kit for bass heads like me but they kind of lack in terms of audio quality and basic functions.
I need a serious upgrade and I think the Audeze Maxwell's fit my criteria perfectly. They would replace my old and worn out Skullcandy headphones, and the Sennheiser PC38X pair I use for gaming.
A 2-in-1, two birds with one stone kind of purchase in my opinion. No more dealing with wires when I'm gaming. Also experiencing a "fun" and unique sound signature that isn't really killing the sound quality overall.
The reason why they also replace my Skullcandy headphones is because of how unique and lively planar drivers sound. They aren't as boring as conventional dynamic drivers in my humble opinion.
That mic sounded really good
Thanks you Keith for keeping us informed with your videos. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Thanks so much, man!!!
Not a gamer, but that mic is impeccable!! Thanks for sharing!!
I'm surprised you haven't reviewed the CMF BUDS.
GAMESKY!, Thanks for posting this video
Can you connect Bluetooth at the same time as connecting to the Xbox? My current one allows that so I can listen to my phone while still hearing my Xbox audio.
Well known gaming headset. However thank you you for sharing the sound review.👍👍👍
I wish thy would make a lightweight pair. I sit on my computer for way too long and it's just more comfortable having less weight on my head for extended use.
audeze doesnt make anything lightweight 😂
Nice sir.... When you do your sound test when you did your you're saying it's got a AI technology, is it any chance that you can do it with the second part of it so what's your typing and see if the the mic cancel that keyboard sounds please .. 😊
It's true that the mic doesn't do much for the price, but I don't play online games at all and don't much care about it. However, a mic-less, cheaper alternative would be better for my specific use.
I have the PlayStation Maxwell and love them. I put the freeze cooling pads from wicked cushions on mine and they're great. I play COD warzone mostly. Only issue I have is having to update the dongle with a PC when the app just will only update the headset qhich to me is odd but it is what it is. I really like that i can chew gum, eat chips and no one in my chat knows that im doing so. Wven if my girl is vacuuming in the background they don't hear it. Overall I always recommend these to everyone I've talked to about gaming headsets.
Hi I've had my audeze maxwell since day one and I regret buying them there too too too too heavy for every day usage they gave me a severe neck pain and headache I play 6 to 8 hours every day they might be good if you play one hour a day or casual gaming I've tried evey earpads and headbands still a no go and ther not comfy and there too too bulky gaming headphones or headsets are garbage either they don't sound good or there too heavy not comfy if you want the best go wired I've ordered the meze 109 pro wired headphones suppose to be in today and get you a nice decent dac amp I have the fiio k9 and the nova pro dac and the mayflower arc amp all those will work for ps5 sound will not get better than that stay safe and happy gaming to all
@@jamesstevens968 I've personally not experienced any headaches or anything from the weight of the headset. I do know that they're heavier than most. I game for hours on end myself and don't even think about the weight of them at all . I believe everyone's mileage will very based on our own weight and body type as I can see maybe a skinny person having more of an issue with the weight of the Maxwells than say a heavier person. Hope you enjoy your new headset and I would sell the Maxwells on eBay or something as I feel you wouldn't have a problem selling those at all.
Night these a few months ago.
Super uncomfortable. I like to start headphones for multiple hours at a time. These were never ones that I could wear for any length of time. The wheel isn't good for quickly making adjustments.
I'm not a gamer and only bought these for Audio and watching TV and movies. Took them back and after buying the Bose Ultras know I made the right decision to return the Audeze
Hi gamesky I've had the audeze maxwell since day one I regret buying them there too too too too heavy for every day usage I play 4 to 6 hours every every single day they gave me a severe neck pain and headache I've tried every ear pads different headbands still no go and there not comfy there too too bulky I haven't used mine for 5 months gaming headsets or gaming headphones are garbage they either don't sound good or there not comfy if these maxwell would be lighter and comfy then yes it's all you need but there not only good maybe one hour a day twice a month casual gaming I'm waiting I've ordered the meze 109 wired headphones coming in today it might be end game it's all you need gets you a decent dac amp fiio k 9 or the nova pro dac wire is the best way to go sound doesn't get no better stay safe and happy gaming to all
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Yo Keith, fellow Bruns brother.
I have the opportunity to get a pair missing the dongle for 180.
Let me know if you're keeping yours, and have you tested with wired output.
My intention is to use with ifi go blu for gaming. Or do you want to trade something
it looks like you almost maxxed out the headstrap height when you put it on. doenst look like it would be good for anyone with a bigger head
You can adjust the head strap even more because of where it's screwed into the headband. It has 2 other places you can screw it in to
for a 300 dollar headset the mic IMO doesn't sound that great
I agree
@@simply_marko sound is one thing but Mic quality is huge for me
@@slipk0rvayne17 play around with eq in adobe audition, it makes it bearable
It is still made with that crappy plastic that after one year crumbels in your fingers ? I got the penrose and after 1 year the platic started to break under the amallest stress. No thak you Audeze, not ever again I will buy a product from you.😢
