#bestheadset #audeze #headsetreview - Hry
It's like I'm rediscovering my favorite music with these things
I bought them. They sound excellent and take eq very well. Sound isolation is surprisingly good and the battery life is a crazy 80 hours. They are heavy but comfortable.
Playing Dead space remake with these is truly an awesome experience. I compared with my Drop/Sennheiser PC-38X, and the Maxwell is a clear winner. The PC-38X MIGHT image better, but to create the ambiance, the maxwell is a clear winner, plus they are wireless, which is very nice.
Why is theire a 9905 at the end of my name? Does this mean my account has been hacked?
I think the PC-38X is still the best headset from a technical point of view. As you said imaging and specifically sound stage are superior but yeah, from an immersive point of view the Maxwell is in a class of its own. Especially with a game like Dead Space that's all about being immersed!
Ooooo good call out prob super creepy
May i should bye this bro
Love em so much, I bought two and sold my Focal Elex
Bought an Open Box pair off of ebay for $250, surprisingly it wasn't even opened, was still sealed, smelled like it too when I opened the box. Setting my audio to 24 bit 96khz in pipewire and playing my 2000kbps - 3000kbps songs is truly an amazing experience. They're great in games as well. But the music quality+ ai noise suppression on the mic.
I listened to EDM on this headphones and holy shit incredible
The head dent this dumbell of a headset will give you is totally worth it.
The head dent with this one is real! 😅
I just got these and they are amazing. Not only for gaming but music too
360 audio?
Can the dongle be used on an iPad, bro? I want to buy it for gaming on ipad with low latency
These are SICK . I LOVE MINE
Have me, love em
People, please tell me: Is the bass good or weak?
So as a rule, planar drivers are not know to have the same level of base extension and dynamic drivers. There are headsets with much deeper bass, like the JBL 910. That said, I think the Maxwell does have satisfying low ends and a warm sound signature overall.
I bought them today
what about a headset sounding the same or better but wired with also a mic at around the same price range 300-400 usd any suggestions?
DROP + Sennheiser/EPOS PC38X
Ok so I bought and received these a couple days ago and... I'm extremely disappointed.
I currently own the Audeze Penrose, and have been well pleased with the sound quality, but I've had them for a while and now the swivel/adjustment area (not sure what it's called) is broken on both sides and is barely held together by tape.
I've been looking into the Maxwell for a few days now as a replacement because with it being Audeze, I figured the quality would be pretty much the same, if not better. But man, idk if it's just my particular pair, but it just sounds worse. There's very little to no bass, the volume peak is way too low, and the overall sound quality sounds "muffled" and "tin-y", like that of a low quality headset.
Now idk if this is something that I have to EQ to fix (never really done before outside of using the Audeze HQ app for the Maxwell, if I need to get a replacement, or if this is just actually how it sounds. Some help/feedback would be very appreciated.
Have you done a firmware update?
Yeah I tried that but still no dice. I’ve been messing around with the system sounds enhancement settings, using bass boost and loudness equalization, it helps to make it more louder and bass-y, but it still sounds kinda off, plus with loudness equalization, it’s only really louder with highs and and with lows it’s more quite, when there’s a lot of bass going on everything tends to sound drowned out.
@@NeonxJay- Doesn't sound right to me. Sorry about that.
Just bought a pair. I use a Schiit Hel2e DAC/Amp (which has dedicated headset and mic inputs) - can I just plug this into the single headset plug-in, or do I need to use a splitter to send a signal to the mic input?
A very good question. I have a Hel 2E also and haven't tested this. I'm not sure you can get mic input through the Aux connection . Just be careful when using an amp, especially the Hel 2. Audeze specifically say not to do this.
_"It is highly recommended you either bypass using amplifiers, or set the volume very low and adjust up until you achieve a good balance between the Maxwell’s volume control, and your source gear. Using external amplifiers may be detrimental to sound quality and potentially add more noise and distortion."_
@@goukigod thanks! I’ve since heard this warning a couple times - from different sources. I’m just using my new Maxwells via the USB dongle. I’m transitioning from a pair of PC-38xs. Going to take some time getting used to the Maxwells. I love the isolation they offer, but miss the soundstage of open-back phones.
If playing FPS and shooters is all I care
For are these the best to pick
Up or would something like the nova pro wireless be better
If imaging is all you care about. ie hearing other players clearly, the Nova Pro is superior in this area and would be my pick.
@@goukigod imaging? Would that include footsteps
The ability to clearly hear individual sounds and locate them in space. Including footsteps.
@@cryptok9185 id rather go for the turtle beach stealth pro, so much better imo. but i prefer the maxwell.
@@cryptok9185 Imaging is not very consistent across the Maxwell headphones. I bought the Nova Pro's and Hyper X Cloud Stealth Pros to compare with Maxwell's. Maxwell is better than both.
What about issue crackling sound, and crack
Turn off the side tone
Do they work wireless on phone
Yes, via bluetooth.
It can be fancy and have good quality as well. It's not one or the other...
True, there are plenty of good sounding headsets with lots of features, including lights. As it stands though, if you want the best sounding wireless headset then the Maxwell's no-frill appearance is where it's at.
Who the heck wants lights on their headset
There are people...
Does it have side tone?
Yes
anyone want to trade my qc45's for this plsss
Well a lot sounds as good or better than the maxwell but you probably mean no headsets sound as good or better
Yes, I meant headsets. I think they sound better than most wireless headphones too though. Sony, Bose, Senhiesser, Apple, it crushes them all.
No simultaneous Bluetooth though which is a shame!
It is crap. I have returned it within two weeks.
Imagine paying 300$ for x360 tier mic
bro the mic is extra and definitely not the main selling point
Who TF is paying that much for the mic dude?😂😂
The Maxwell has the absolute best audio quality being a BT headphone at that price.
There's NO other BT headphone that sounds that good..
Who cares about the mic!
Use it if you need it.. I threw it into a carton as soon as I got it lol..
maybe he s a singer mate 😂@@rajeebdas1724
Sucks for fps 😔
Not with eq lol
