- This trail building edit is going to be the start of something awesome in my backyard. The roll-in we build in this video will be what leads into a gap jump, pump track, maybe a vert wall... WHO KNOWS! we've got a lot to work with if we get the speed right coming out of this roll in!

You should do a roller into the jump., it'd look more professional and add some really nice flow.
All your videos get better and funnier every time.😃
Love the rounded transitions. Little attention to details like that make all the difference when riding.
Also I always like a pump roller before a jump.👍
Yeah man. Roller before the jump. Have fun !
Definitely roller - build more speed, manual off it, whatever - always roller if you can roller
You should collaborate with
Seth’s bike hacks
Keep a look out! 😉
That would be two of the best trail builders working together sick idea dude
As much as i hate to say it, SBH is not the best
I watched this video and I'm like wow he should get together with seth's bike hacks, I went to write it in the comments and the first comment I see is this one😅😅
Raymond Jarvis just popular, that’s why he’s suggested constantly.
Hopefully you got that tree's phone number.
Tried... told me it was a one time thing and kinda regretted all of it...
@@BackyardTrailBuilds 🤣
My 4 year old boy and I watch all your videos. “Can I please watch one more Dad.” “ I want to build something like that.” Thanks for doing what you do.
We bought a cabin this last summer and are hoping to make some sweet sweet trails in the spring.
Duuuude this just made me so happy... thank you for sharing. Get him some trails built up and he'll be shredding by 5 years old!
A set of rollers would help with the velocity. What is that round barrel looking thing in the background of the last shot? Love the video! Sets it up for the next amazing feature!🤘
The barrel is a rotating composter I made a couple years ago!
Roller before the jump. Nice build!
you should make a roller first so that you can pump it to get more speed for a gap jump
Just came back from building my own trail and then I saw this. What a beautiful day!
(except for a french exam which i probably failed hard)
I feel your pain I got my midterms soon
Straight into a big jump would be the best
finally someone who does not want an unnecessary roller :D
It looks awesome!!!!!!
Nice vid.... and yes... straight into jump
get it done!
Super helpful. Big thanks!
If your gap jump is movable I would make that first and see if you need more speed/time before hit it. You can move it around to get best spot.
A gap is just a roller with the middle cut out. You'd get more speed and flow from the gap if you do it right. Which I'm sure you would!
Typical jump line set-up: A roller or a few-Small Double-Big double-whatever you want with an occasional roller here and there
Roller then jump. You'll get the opportunity to build some speed with a good pump or throw in a couple cranks if needed.
Loving the Hitchcock music!!!!!!
Roller and then gap
love your channel
Definitely roller then jump!
Well I am expecting Seth to get over to this side soon
I think we'll get him out here soon enough!
A Roller that can be gapped with a little effort! followed by a nice kicker.
You make the sickest of videos
yayayayaya an upload
Seems common to have a roller then jump. So why not try something different and go straight into a gap? Would be one wild blast all at once. Music editing on point 🤘🏼👊💥
Roller before the Jump ;)
Seth Bike Hacks sent me here. Great video man!
I say roller and then jump, because then you can generate more speed and have an ultra flowy transition
Awesome always
Roller for sure
I vote roller then jump. Give you a nice pump for the jump or a some more room to scrub a jump if you end up not being set up right.
I'm pumped to see this thing get finished out.
Definitely roller then jump. Awesome videos and great ideas !
I'm getting a Seth's Bike Hacks vibe from this one. Awesome channel by the way. Great idea.
0:59 AAAaahhh, see there, you've made a mistake straight away. If you wanna be sure that nothing falls on you during disassembly, you need to be ON TOP, and remove the bolts underneath you.
That cedar looks SO good! It would be sweet to do a roller to a jump all made of cedar. Looking forward to watching the next installment 🤘
Aw man, really love this one
They just keep looking better and better forreal!
Came from seth, stayed for seth. lol funny how that works out I love your channel man. ill be here for a while
Amazing keep up the work
U should setup a business of this awesome mtb tail u have created btw I recommend to make a map of we’re everything is so it looks professional and keep it up u and Seth are my 2 favourite yt channel to watch for building mtb trails and structures peace out have fun.
Roller then jump will be flowier and faster. More speed to pump from big smooth roller.
I always put a roller before a jump
Awesome! I'd dig into the ground and then back up to flow into a roller 👍
Nice Property you got. that would be so Nice to Have a Back Yard Bike Park.. good stuff man I'm subscribing..
Sick! Let me come ride!
roller first!!
That cedar looks so awesome. So lucky to have all that there.
I say you just send it to a gap jump right after.
A roller could be sick
Man I wanna ride your crazy tracks good to know I’m not the only one in saint Louis that likes this
roller first!
I think a roller or small table top at the end of the drop-in plank is the way to go. It would be a good way to warm up into a jump line.
Ps you should do roller then jump
Def a roller and than a jump
you should add a middle support beam under it
Dude this looks beautiful the red color is amazing
I’d reckon a roller before the jump would be nice, could give you some more speed if you pump over it well and give you more time to set up for the jump after it. Also maybe digging a dip into the ground right after the drop and before the roller to make everything even flower might be cool, if you can figure out drainage and how to get around the roots that are probably cross crossing it...
Really like the videos, and i can totally see your progression in making them.
Awesome work.
I think you should put a roller, it always feels so good to get you ready for a jump, getting the flow before the jump.
That was a sweet build, do the roller then jump!!
Roller then the jump.
Great video!
Every video you make is so inspiring!
Sooo happy that I found this channel!! 😍
Please keep collabing with Seth's bike hacks and maybe also other guys bc everyone should be aware of you!
Awesome stuff, per usual.
I vote a pump first , then the jump
Take care
your videos are awesome keep it up
Roller then jump. . The roller will build speed and then the jumps can be bigger
dude ur vids have improved so much over the last year! Keep it up!
Roller for set up and extra speed
Haha. Great video!
great video i would do roller in front but just so you can get more speed and maybe can have a bigger jump then :)
Great Channel, really good content. Keep it going and regards from Colombia, you're welcome any time for a good ride!
I dig your channel my dude 👌🏻
Roller jump
Roller then jump
Dude. Your videos are incredible. Love it, I also love my shirt I won In one of your live stream giveaways!
Do a whale tail like they have at Two Rivers bike park in Nixa MO.
lol you're awesome
We need a tour of all your trail soon
Roller then jump.
Right In to a jump trust me from experience a roller will suck up all of your speed or you will like not like it or get air off of it not trying to.
Looking at how close that was with the deck... might wanna wear a hard hat
100% better than Seths bike hacks roll in
Seths bike hacks roll in is unbeatable :D
JUST CAME FROM SETH'S youtube channel and yeah just watched this video Im SUBSCRIBING KEEP UP THE BUILDS
Roller to jump
Roller to a big ole gap step up to on off feature....
Ready for seths video with you tomorrow!
nice
Stop playing around with Seth and let's see that cap jump! Whether with a roller or not. I'd say no roller btw. Came out great dude.
Roller first
couple rollers
Definitely roller then jump
roller then jump
4 rollers then you get momentum and then a 1 and half gap
What do you do with the chopped of support post bits
How do you build with soft dirt from forests ??
Water
Roller for sure. Mas speed
