  • It's not everyday you get to try mountain biking for the first time. But just try and bring the right bike for the job when you do! A special thanks to @EverythingsBeenDone for being the PERFECT test subject for this video! 😂

The key to being a good mountain biker is knowing how to use the front brake effectively, it can either crash you or save you depending on how you use it.

Most people actually think that if you use your front brakes you will go over the bars, most of your braking power comes from your front brakes if used correctly, you will most likely go over your bars going downhill if you use it, but as a cross racer it is actually better to use your front brakes as a main brake power, or assisted with your rear brakes

I thought this video was dumb until he mentioned the left and right brakes and I remembered that the orientation is not like on a motorcycle 😂😂

OTB into a tractor once, broke my collar bone. Trip to hospital in a ambulance. Doctor thought I had torn my aorta open.

Well… The back tire spins toward the bike. So if you lean too far back, your beans will get sucked into the frame. 😂

I always find it so strange when different countries have different brake orientations

Telling someone to not use the front brake is 100% sending them off trail at some point. “I’m allowed to brake. You just go ahead and mash that rear and slide off that ledge over there”

Являюсь обладателем этого чуда и откатал на нем практически полный сезон. Вел за свои деньги действительно прекрасен, но с нюансами.

The best way to become a good mountain biker is to master hopping over your bars when your front wheel locks up.

Everytime I got my small little jump park and I see a road biker I tell them to hit the jumps and they always just laugh and continue on. Yesterday though I saw one turn the corner and go onto one of the trails😂 just hope he didn’t crash
