A Song mirroring all the History and Mystery behind the Night Elves, Teldrassil and their Beliefs. Small Parts of this Song are played in Teldrassil and Ashenvale, among others.
My grandfather played this game with me since classic all the way up until the final day of the war of thorns prelaunch event for BFA. He died the next day of complications from wounds inflicted from surviving cancer treatment. I like to think he is still in the game somewhere, waiting for me to catch up to him.
@@TheAquaAuthor I think he's referring to the Blizzard's scandal and also awful Lore treatment. My condolences on you, but i think it's a gorgeous memory of your grandfather. As a believer, i believe him to be watching over you and, who knows, even sending you some top notch gameplay tips.
This. The feeling of being absolutely powerless in that new world. Lost, frail. Probably the weirdest time of my life, had like 20 goosebumbs in 2 minutes
Teldrassil and Ashenvale featured this music in its main rotation, and some portions of Feralas from 2004 until 2010. I'll never forget exploring an ancient land as a young Night Elf all those years ago.
It's wild how a few frequencies, a simple few notes combined in a sequence can describe a setting and tell a story without a single word being uttered. Amazing..
Sometimes I just go to Ashenvale to listen to this song. Yes, I can come here, but there is something magical about it, when you are just chilling in Ashenvale, and your memories from years ago pop up and you just.... embrace the moment.
I remember growing up in the forests of Teldrassil, and the whole experience was amazing, the huge trees, the architecture... now and then I go back to Teldrassil to run through the woods, and every time i go into the Shadowglen, it feels like I have been away for too long. Nothing has changed while the world and my adventures have moved around it...it always feels safe there.... it always feels like home. Hail to my Brothers and Sisters! Elune Adore!
It's been 2 years since I quit WoW. I decided to come back and relogged on my Draenei that I left in Ashenvale Forest. This was the first song that played. The whole Night Elf culture so well summed up in the song. The ancient temples, beautiful forests and mysterious creatures. You can imagine my surprise when I saw that the Horde chopped down half of the forest. Somehow, it doesn't surprise me.
***** And I quit this game 2008, when lich came :/ I miss the game alot man. Feeling, the musics and all that shit, but I guess its not the same as before with cata and all. Hope they make a new WoW II :) would be awesome
I miss WoW a lot too. I also quit when Lich came. I play GW2 now and it's a cool game but deep inside I know that WoW will always be on the top (at least the way I remember it)... People say that it isn't good anymore, but dang I miss those old days...
Renaki90 The game becomes better with every expansion and patch. People just clings to old things too much. Like i understand that the feeling is different, and it maybe doesnt give the same vibes anymore, but you really cant say that the game was better in vanilla or tbc, because in fact the gameplay is much better.
Seriously, this induces nostalgia attacks like no other. I started WoW with a Night Elf (well, I made a couple of other characters before my Hunter but they didn't last longer than a week. This Night Elf went on to become my main, and the character that pretty much became the image of who I am on WoW, aside from my Human Warrior alt.) All those times I'd be sitting in the inn, resting up after my latest quest, taking my time because I wasn't on a PVP realm and there was no rush... the newer parts of WoW are great and all, but nothing will ever quite beat the feeling of Vanilla WoW back when it was a brand new experience.
her voice is so hauntingly beautiful , this truly is the greatest song in all of wow. only heard in ashenvale and teldrissel now. great experience for a new player. it makes me so sad listening to ir now.
I've never cried over a song until listening to this and remembering my first time playing wow 4 years ago in year 9, as a night elf warrior in the 10 day trial. The simple days are always the best days
When I hear this song, I get instantly teleported to Teldrassil. The feeling is incredible, I can imagine myself there! But then I remember that Azeroth is not real... I hope that sometime, someday when technology is more advance than it is today, Blizzard makes a virtual reality (and I mean a real virtual reality, with feelings and senses) WoW. Just imagine a virtual reality WoW theme park (like The Void). I wish it was real, so I can teleport myself back and relax in that shore. Maybe it does exist in an alternate dimension, who knows...
***** Edit: They did it. In Comic Con they showed a Virtual Reality Warcraft Movie teaser, search for Warcraft Skies of Azeroth... But that's not enough when I refer to VR really, like I said, something like THE VOID would be!
Same here for me! :D First char ever, Night Elf Druid, 7 years ago... :) I totally got lost in Teldrassil, the world seemed so huge... :D Teldrassil is still my favourite place in Wow. :)
Good old Ashenvale... Still remember that all my Horde Characters went through, though my last one is more then 4 years ago... But this song and that region i liked the most. Cheers from an old troll lover ;-)
I like to imagine being in a universe where developers actually cared for the game even after its release. We'd be in a full spectrum of virtual reality right now.

True. Cataclysm was and still is to this date the worst expansion of all time. Ruined the beautiful landscape of many nice places, endgame was completely non existent and leveling was broken. Even Warlords of Draenor was more fun with their Farmville simulator.
I wonder, is there any lore on Elune? I mean, I always hear the Night Elves talking about Elune, worshiping her (I assume it's a girl) and all that stuff. Anyone know of any lore videos about Elune? I'm curious. I also sometimes get Queen Aszhara and Elune mixed up sometimes.
Elune is the chief goddess (they have other Gods and Spirits) of the Night Elves and is the mother of Cennarius. She represents the moon and was said to sleep in the Well of Eternity (the Maelstrom) during they day. She is perhaps one of the only 'Gods' on Azeroth truly deserving of that title, and is still quite mysterious.
www wowwiki com / Elune - it contains pretty much all there is to know about elune so far. including some theories about her by fans (old gods / naaru / ysera(debunked) etc..).

Wait, wrong game.
Not gonna lie, my first Blizzard game was Starcraft, and when I hoped into WoW, my first character was a nightelf and I immediately felt the Protoss vibes. Truly amazing race Blizzard are creating. Masterpieces.
@@dakure907 stole my story, bro.

RIP WoW 2004-2010
True. Cataclysm was and still is to this date the worst expansion of all time. Ruined the beautiful landscape of many nice places, endgame was completely non existent and leveling was broken. Even Warlords of Draenor was more fun with their Farmville simulator.
phenomenal song
I remember when a began World of Warcraft in 2005, my god i'm crying, some of the best moments in my life were in WoW. I'll never forgett you Azeroth
I wonder, is there any lore on Elune? I mean, I always hear the Night Elves talking about Elune, worshiping her (I assume it's a girl) and all that stuff. Anyone know of any lore videos about Elune? I'm curious. I also sometimes get Queen Aszhara and Elune mixed up sometimes.
elune is Mother Moon, the God of the Night Elves :3 I only read in books about her :0
Elune is the chief goddess (they have other Gods and Spirits) of the Night Elves and is the mother of Cennarius. She represents the moon and was said to sleep in the Well of Eternity (the Maelstrom) during they day.
She is perhaps one of the only 'Gods' on Azeroth truly deserving of that title, and is still quite mysterious.
www wowwiki com / Elune - it contains pretty much all there is to know about elune so far. including some theories about her by fans (old gods / naaru / ysera(debunked) etc..).
according to the wiki, elune is basically the "god" of azeroth
