    I tear up everytime i listen to this. I can just picture all the beauty of Azeroth :
    The calmness and stillness of Azuremist
    The verdant jungle of Feralas with the ancient ruins of Dire Maul
    The calm, endless plains of Mulgore with the messa of Thunder Bluff above
    The Barrens, with the lush oasises
    Stonetalon mountains with their ancient forests and a peak, that has overseen the land of Kalimdor since it's conception.
    Beyond the Thunderfury lies the orcs' claim - Durotar with the great city of warriors - Orgrimmar
    Beyond Durotar lie Azshara - a land named after the quenn of the Highborne, their beloved, cherished queen. Amidst its' ruins are buried some of the most ancient secrets of Azeroth.
    And of course - the ancient forest of Ashenvale and legendary Mount Hyjal. Nestled in between is the druid enclave Moonglade, where nature and time live in perfect harmony of preservance and eternity.
    Beyond the sea - the towers of Stormwind in Elwynn forest
    The great human capital and greatest realm - Lordaeron
    The wild city - Gilneas - with it's secluded sombre woods
    The dwarven lands of Khaz Modan - Aerie Peak, Ironforge, Thaurissan, Grim Batol
    The Highborne lands and the remains of Quel'Thalas - Eversong woods and the great city of Silvermoon and of course, the island of Quel'Danas, the seat of the Sunwell
    And who can forget the ancestral lands of the trolls - the lush jungles of Stranglethorn and the pirate capital Booty Bay
    In the cold north - the land of the dead and the land of Titans and Dragons - Northrend.
    The snowy tundras of the Howling Fjord
    The calm forests and creeks of the Grizzly Hills
    The secrets of Titans laying in eternal rest in Ulduar in the Storm Peaks
    The seat of the aspects in Dragonblight
    The forboding spyres of the Wrathgate guarding Icecrown CItadel
    The glory of the flaoting city of mages - Dalaran above the wonderous Crystalsong woods
    Even the boken land of Draenor gives us beautiful memmories
    The shining beacon of Shatrath - the city of the faithful and the just
    The verdant Zangarmarsh with it's giant mushrooms
    The violent turbulence of arcane and demonic energy - Netherstorm
    The ever beautiful land of hope and promise - Nagrand
    And the land of warriors and hunters - Blade's Edge
    And the seat of the Betrayer himself - SHadowmoon valley
    All the beauty in this world, in warms my heart to remember it. And hearing this song is like seing an old album photo. I'm proud to have given years of my life to this world and i pass the duty to the next warriors of Azeroth. GUard this land, protect it, save it. CHerish its' beauty and know that i before you, others will take up your duty. Make sure they have something to fight for

      No, WoW won't be the same, because WoW has changed, and it probably was for the better, old WoW was fun because it was new and exiting, but now Warlords of Draenor is here and we should see that WoW is still a good game, just no longer the game it used to be, most changes had good reasons, because a 10 year old game can't run on 10 year old graphics, mechanics and quests. alot of bugs were fixed too, and who can say if it was more fun to raid old Molten Core, or Mythic Highmaul, or perhaps Heroic SoO? only people that did all 3, and I don't think there are alot of those, but people that did will probably tell you the same.

    • @Golemoid
      @Golemoid Před 9 lety

      "WoW was fun because it was new and exiting" entirely untrue, games aren't fun because they are new, they are fun because they are good. I can have as much fun with mario bros today as i had 25 years ago, and i will have 0 fun with destiny even though it's new.
      World of Warcraft
      used to be amazing because it was *WORLD* of warcraft, it felt like a virtual world and not just a game. It was about exploration, immersion, interacting with other players, looking for secret stuff etc. Today it's all streamlined, everything is scripted and linear. Stuff like flying mounts butchered the immersion of this game, the world doesn't feel vast, mysterious or dangerous like it used to. Hell most people don't even leave the cities, they just queue for dungeons/raids/pvp and that's it, world of queuecraft.
      Also challenge, back then regular outdoor mobs could fuck you up if you were careless (best example DEFIAS PILLAGER) today everything goes down in 5 seconds, even elites poses no harm to you. The only challenging content are Mythic raids.

    Damn.. You remember back in vanilla where Naxx was something that 99% of the players were just dreaming of. You were just amazed by the players standing in Ironforge with shiny armors from Naxx Now all the end-game conent is so way too easy to obtain. That is ruining the feeling of adventure since there isn't that "epic loot only few can obtain" in the end of the road.

      @Teerroo Před 10 lety

      I know it's not all about the loot but it's about progress for me. Now you just click LFG or LFR and you have everything there. You had to do quests before to even get access to the raids.And Warlock check your facts again, It was a 40-man raid in vanilla. www.wowwiki.com/Naxxramas_%28original%29

    • @starcraftkris
      @starcraftkris Před 10 lety

      ***** I won't blow up on you like most would but FYI Naxx was originally created as the final dungeon of Vanilla. They actually released it shortly before TBC came out and given the relatively expensive attunement process then, the high skill cap, and the 40 player requirement it is roughly true that only about 1% of the player base got to take a trip into Naxx back then.

      Yeah, content for the 1% while the 99% sit and dream. The purpose of any game. Unobtainable loot and impossible-to-do content. Mythic raiding is hard enough if you want a challenge, AND it lets everyone experience the game through normal and heroic mode. But i suppose you feel less validated nowadays with a fairer system.

      @Jimboquacks Před 8 lety

      +Sheut the far seer Then it must of been your server if the community was the same to you as it is in its current state. My 2 cents in a couple month old post is Raid/Dungeon Finder killed the community in WoW.

    • @valeclaw1697
      @valeclaw1697 Před 8 lety

      ***** oh of course it did, though buying gold was always a thing, blizz just made it legal (so to speak) Cross realm isn't really bullshit, LFG and LFR are pretty cancer though. But no, the game was hard because the community in Vanilla was crazy, and the game wasn't scaled.

    • @valeclaw1697
      @valeclaw1697 Před 8 lety +1

      ***** Cross realm did not do that for any server i've been on lol. Vanilla is incredibly simple, to the point where anyone can do it. The issue is you either need a lot of free time to do ANYTHING at all in vanilla, or be really damn patient. Not much skill, as classes determined if you were useful or not.

      @omaewamoshinderu Před 10 lety +7

      Well are you saying that you are one of those hard core players? Have you gotten world first or joined a progression guild before? if not, you have no right to criticise blizzard's shift to more casual focused and more convenient gameplay.

    • @thibault9008
      @thibault9008 Před 10 lety +8

      Yeah exactly, i'm one of those old players who came on the game when Vanilla was released, and complete all major pre-bc instance, with my guild, the" Brothers in Arms", small but effective guild.
      And i'm not only criticising Blizzard politics about the gameplay, making the game easier for casual players and etc. This is not the true problem.
      The problem is that they killed the "spirit" of the game. It's hard to explain, any player who started WoW pre-bc will say to you that something went wrong with this extension.
