Very happy with the new Teams. Been using it for a couple of months daily and we also use it with Direct Routing for calls. No issues at all (yet :-)), is definitely quicker and less resource hungry.

@@rolandnowak1131 That's great to hear! And that some advanced features, like Direct Routing, works with no issues because I haven't been able to try it with Teams Phones.

Hello, I’m using the free Mac version. May I ask why I do not hv some of the icons options such as ‘files’ on the left hand side banner?

Question. Just set up a new M2 a few weeks back. Teams shows Microsoft Teams classic in upper left. No toggle and everything is up-to-date. Any ideas?

I don't know. But maybe you need to be on a particular channel to get the new client options in Teams for macOS. I'm not sure, sorry.

The IT dept has been using the new teams for a while now and been pretty happy with it. Definitely easier on the resources!
