The Superbowl Mahomes won he had to make double digit comebacks every game just to win. He shouldnt have to do that. If he had an elite defense he wouldnt need to score 30+ just to win. Brady never had to worry about getting into crazy shootouts because Bellicheck always made sure his defense was solid.
If I was KC front office, I would be looking to get a solid defensive coordinator as the next head coach who can make sure Mahomes always has protection, and a solid defense to help him out.

@@brettt141 Allen Robinson is a very ver good WR. Trey Burton was very good TE in Philly. Tarik Cohen, Devin Singletary, Taylor Gabriel is a speedster, Cordarrelle Patterson is a very good weapon. They have Riley Ridley the brother of Calvin who was very good in college. They don't have bad weapons like people make them. Yes, just Hill and Kelce are better than all of them, but Hardman, Robinson, Damien Williams, those guys weren't big names. Hardman was mostly a returner in Georgia. Damien Williams was a backup RB in Miami. Robinson was a 5th round pick. Those guys were no names that Mahomes make good/great. A great QB should elevate the guys around him, give them chance to succeed.
