After 70 punches to the face, Joe goes: "It is possible his jaw is hurt." -- 5:26
He also said the punches that land are the ones that hurt 🤔
@@rubend9391 high af 🤣🤣
@@rubend9391 no, both things he said make sense. Goldberg was saying some nonsense about kicks are harder than punches, but Joe said it won't do you any good if you can't land them. And obviously he did not mean "aw my face hurts, I want to go home", he meant injured as in broken, dislocated etc.
But you already know that. ;)
It's entirely possible
@@finq0997 i think you 100% didnt understand what the original comment was saying
Man, Nate's boxing looks so sloppy and dirty, but it is super effective, like Khabib's footwork
It’s because they’re all snapping punches
@a guy named kev nates jab is a straight right
@a guy named kev it’s called a 1-2
@a guy named kev the reason it’s very effective is because of the 1/jab. If you have a defensive fighting style, you can use your rear hand as a defense for the counter and your jab is used to land often and the shoulder from your jab hand is used to protect from your jab side. After pumping jabs and keeping the opponent at bay, you hit the 1-2 to hit them with the 2/straight. The jab is used to pop their head back and obstruct their view if you land directly to their eyes. As they’re vision is obstructed from the jab hand, when you pulling it back, your rear hand should be following right after. In essence, the 1 is used to stifle and the 2 is used to cause damage.
@@harrybobarry the jab also works as a feint, as you get them to react to the first punch the second one follows thus catching them in the motion of moving away from or blocking your jab
Everyone focused on Nates volume/accuracy, shit I'm concerned with cowboys complete lack of defense and head movement. He's literally a standing punching bag
When you get teed off on I’m just gonna be like why didn’t you move your head? 😂😂😂😂 hey Masvidal why didn’t you move your head when Usman punched you? Yo Foriest giffen should have just moved his head and Anderson Silva won’t punch you 😂😂😂😂😂
@@crimsonking4151 hes 100% correct
cowboy isnt doing shit, not even passive defence. I guess he was so mad he just wanted to land strikes
@@therandomdickhead5744 it looks like that cuz it was a highlight video cowboy had his own moments in the fight
@@crimsonking4151 Most dudes don’t usually see the shot that catches them. But you’d expect a guy to do something to defend against the shots that he does see coming.
I believe he drops his hands allot
Holy shit Nate didn’t even start bleeding what is this
Pre scar tissue Nate Diaz
It's a classic fight mister casual sir
@@peppa7926 we should make this a new mythical fighter
@@fjdj395 lmao great idea
nate : i'm not trynna be a bully
also nate *giving a family meal combo and a middle finger than beat cowboy more
I guess its not personal though, more like tradition for him haha
@@karimshebeika8010 it’s a mindset a war mindset
@@karimshebeika8010 he just simply like it 🤣
Nate hands out 5 pieces
Cowboy gave him first one middle finger, then Nate beat him up and gave him 2
Donald is on everyone’s highlights, he’s like that generic character they use to teach you the controls of a fighting game
He's on their highlights or their on his highlights lol
Yeah I agree and I'm a fan of his but he has a weird way of fighting there are slow starters then there's cowboy you almost need to hurt him to get him going. Almost all of his fights he gets finished early or loses by decision but when he wins it's almost always from second to last round and always a spectacular ko or sub and occasional a dec. as a fan of his I don't want to admit it but his overall activeness in the sport and extremely slow start even though he is still within the ladder years of his prime the way he fights shortens that prime every fight and I love him but i genuinely think he needs to retire. He's got one of if not the most legendary legacies in the sport and I'd hate to see him lose it like penn did
@@Cicada-oj4xq Cowboy said he loves to fight. I don't think he cares about his legacy like some do. He said he'd fight in parking lots if that's what it came to.
Laura K loves to fight or not he has already begged Dana for one more fight to at least leave on a high note but even then as a longtime fan of his I hate to see such an iconic fighter continue to fight when he isn't in his prime and continue to lose and get hurt he's had so many fights I just want him to leave while he is still healthy
I guess it depends on how you define legacy: overall career or how-you-go-out. I think he should be proud he got old in the sport. I think he will, in time.
Donald coach: give him 5 mins of hell!
Donald: yes! I will give him five mins of hell!
Nate:🖕
🤣🤣🤣
Truestory
I dont see that can even talk
Oh man he knocked off Donald’s cowboy hat that’s how you know it’s serious love the pace of the Diaz bros it’s honestly fascinating how amongst elite athletes just making them look like they don’t do cardio
And when was the last time that happened Pettis broke his foot Connor won the fourth round in the second fight Nate doesn’t throw these straight one 2’s anymore everything is looping and he hast to make it a chaotic wild brawl and Leon is one of the most technical fighters in the UFC right now saying Nate has no chance is A tad bit excessive in my opinion
@@Normthemmafighter fair enough it’s been a minute but I’m glad he’s still putting it on the line and not just sitting on his reputation and you’re right about both of those match ups but I think the last time was probably Conor 1 and you’re right about Leon I think he’s part of the new generation and is honestly one of my fav fighters style wise I love his striking and is my pick for the fight
Such excellent cardio, hes been to the championship rounds 4 times and lost all but a single one of them and it was against a fighter notorious for gassing, great cardio though, you fanboys are fucking delusional, either that or you just don't watch MMA
Me: Sees full fights worth of punches landed.
Also me: Looks down and sees its still the first round.
Donald is fighting like I do in my dreams.
So accurate ahahah
Decalcify your pineal gland & meditate, then you'll start fighting like Diaz instead.
@@hannakentm9913 You being fr? That third eye shit makes a mf paranoid, I've had mine open or whatever you wanna call it but I always see people talking about seeing spirits when they open it, I didn't see shit but closed eye visuals but fuck I'm not trying to see shadows in the corner of my eyes😂.
In quicksand?
It's crazy how much mma has leveled up in the past 10 years. They look so shallow compared to today's top 10 of literally any division.
Prime Nate would still be competitive because his boxing pace was insane like Max Holloway, not that many fighters can handle that pace even Nate can't handle that pace anymore cuz he's older so now he's more of a counterpuncher
I agree but also Nate pulled this off with his insane endurance which is a pace in itself
How about top 100 of any division lol
@@BrainFuck10 bro even someone like drew dober has way better boxing than Nate in this video. I’m not hating it’s just that the entire sport is so much better.
@@BrainFuck10 Nate’s style was very aggressive but just would not work with today’s styles. With moves like the low calf kick and these guys learning how to stitch angles, that style just wont work. We seen it in Nate’s last fight when he faced a versatile fighter with a very sold kicking game and we all know how this fight went. U need kicks and very good distance to have success with Nates body type. Its why tall and long fighters like Izzy are champ. Bcz he knows how to utilize his kicks, timing, and distance at the fast paste with his fakes and movement. In my opinion. We will see tho in the Leon fight. A fights a fight. 🤷♂️
Cerrone just had no answers for anything Diaz was throwing. Imagine the frustration lmao
he admitted on jre that he let nate get his head and throw his game out, i think he broke his hand as well?
Virtually no head movement. Lack of it has always been a weakness of Cerrone, in addition to his susceptibility to body shots.
@@madgavin7568 Yeah, Cerrone looks pretty drunk after a good 5-10 shots taken
It’s mostly Cerrone’s short little arms vs Nate’s supreme accuracy on this night. It’s not that Cerrone wasn’t throwing punches...he just couldn’t hit anything.
I’ve never seen somebody order so many two pieces at one time.
Nate with that 1-2-3 spam 😂
yeah haha

wtf is that head movement, he didn't move his head even once.
Now it’s Nate turn.
Idk why people still think Nate can’t bang with high level strikers.
Cerrone isn’t nearly the highest level striker.
@Dave muay thai backround with most headkick finishes in UFC not an elite striker

Since when is cowboy not considered an elite striker??
6:26 Crazy Nate evaded that short elbow.
He felt cowboy loading up
Indeed, Nick also has that skill, I remember when he fought Scott Smith he evaded 2 elbows in a row exactly this way.
Really impressive given their apparent stone/lazy style
The captions called the first guy "Talking origami"
haha
Be nuts to hear Diaz talk in an alternate timeline where he found another line of work and wasn’t punched in the cantaloupe a thousand times.
He has a speech impediment dipshit its nothing to do with being punch drunk. Spoken that way his whole life.
@@drunkpaulocosta9301 kinda crazy people still don’t know this lmaooo.

@@drunkpaulocosta9301 I’m aware of his speech impediment fuckass I’m talking about the slight slowness and kind of scrambly way he talks from time to time. Learn to recognize a joke. It’s okay to be a fan of his, I am as well. No reason to get so triggered by a CZcams comment.
I remember watching this fight live, Nate simply put on a boxing clinic.
That was the night we found out that Cowboy can't fight angry.
Lol it had nothing to do with that, cowboy lacks boxing skills, kickboxing he's very good but a weakness in his boxing is pretty apparent here
He cant fight against southpaws because he has a bad cross
Can't box**

@@reddeath6563 never watched any of the earlier Paul Felder fights or Mike Perry or Nick and Nate Diaz fights, etc etc.

Great video bro never seen the first bit of footage before
This is the most articulate I've seen Nate, it must be from the heart.
Best channel ever!
Two uploads the same week yes sir 💯
There is a mental aspect to that "being everyones friend" thing, it's a mental game just the opposite of "shit talking". You shit talk someone to get them riled up and not thinking straight, just as you can "be their friend" and get them to calm down during a fight and think it is a more friendly affair than it actually is. It seems both of them explained themselves perfectly and the UFC and Media tried to make it something it wasn't, like usual.
I love this channel
One of my favorite fights! when cowboy flipped him off before the first then Nate did it after the second has to be one of the best moments in mma for me
The punches come from very angle. Awesome video also
Thank you love the Diaz brothers
It’s gotta be so intimidating and frustrating to fight someone in the later rounds when they’re at 80% and you’re at 20%
Your outro music is louder than the rest of the video (rip headphone users moment), but great video! Keep it up
Nate's strike seem slow but it always find the target. 155 Diaz was the best
Too bad he didn’t weigh 155 for this fight though

Max Holloway?
Nate actually took Cerrone’s hat off after the fight and handed him a Metal Mulisha beanie, kinda low-key clowning him, but that brilliantly comical moment no longer appears in the UFC version of this fight. Excellent vid, btw #WarDiaz
Most dominant MMA Boxing clinic ever.
Nates 1 2 is my favorite thing in the sport
Mma striking masterpiece. 💯👊 #TheDiazShow
i respect his approach
Dude cowboy looked so god damn young!
I would like to see a video focused on Diaz Brothers submission skills and their bjj... Nice one tho!

Probably Nates BEST fight 🔥🔥
This was unreal watching live
Joe ''The punches that land are the most dangerous'' Rogan!
I like how Nate dapped Cowboy up when it was all said and done.
I think cerrone loses to every southpaw there is because he doesnt have a good cross to stop them or at least in this match i think everytime he reacted to nate by moving his lead hand trying to counter
Yup exactly. Slip, then counter with a cross. or slip and go over with a lead hook. Mans ate the shots and throw arm punches straight at an opponent with more reach
He won against Alexander hernandes who is a Southpaw
I think it was Nate's constant pressure, and boxing that caused Cerrone to back up so he couldn't use his kicks, and Cowboy's lack of head head movement is what caused him to lose
@@Sqauredcircleboxing barely tho
nice head movement by cowboy
The look on Dons face at the start of round 3 is priceless. It says "Yeah i fucked up"
Donald Cerrone the walking highlight reel
Now it's not a bad time to see Nate vs Cowboy 2
Nate has great boxing it looks sloppy but the volume and switching to the body and head makes it so effective unfortunately he never takes his head of the centerline and gets hit a lot but he has some of the best boxing in the game offensively
Doesnt turn his hips so he just stings you and cant really knock you out.
Omg theyre so young. When this footage dates back to?
Im worried for nate...the older he gets the harder it is to understand his speech
Donald "I'm just happy to be here" Cerrone

I need a video on Nate Diaz boxing like how you did one on his brothers
I JUST WANT THE TRILOGY THATS ALL I WANT
What's really shocking about this fight is that Nate isn't bleeding!!!
l, like to see Nate Diaz come back in the octagon because he's nice with his hands so, is his brother.
That's getting the Cow pie punch out yah!!
Idk how many times I’ve said this, but the Diaz brothers are deceptively fast. 3rd Strike Makoto kind of striking. Slow approach, short clinch, fast combos.
agreed, its faster than it looks from outside
As sloppy as he was, he started everything with his jab!
Demoralizing when fighting a Diaz brother. No matter what you hit them with, they shake it off like it's nothing and keep going. They're not afraid to brawl and stay in your face the entire time. Your energy is zapping and they've got another 5 rounds left in the tank. You literally drown from pressure.
This makes me wanna see Max vs Diaz. It'd be a war.
Turn on the captions at 0:08 :"Nate diz transitions into the armbar and defeats Talking Origami"" I'm dead
“Head movement, Head Movement”
Diaz fights like an octopus 🐙 just arms and legs everywhere
You should do an hour long video on Nate like you did Nick.
Start it from when he was on TUF he was great on that & entertaining 👌 my favourite fight was Nate vs McGregor 1, he won on 11 days notice & with a little belly pooch lol I definitely think he won the 2nd fight. McGregor started running away from him when he knew Nate was picking him apart & at the end of a couple rounds Nate could've won if he'd just had a few more seconds. McGregor put in work too & you could tell he'd studied Nates fighting style more 👊🖤💪
Cerrone looked almost sedated during this. There had to be something weird going on with him before or during this fight. He looked like he didn't know where he was, what he was supposed to be doing, and like he didn't ever train for MMA before. Weird fight
Cowboy always had fights like this. He'd beat some ass, get a big fight, then fight like he's never been in a ring before. Similar to when he fought Connor.
Nate's pressure was relentless and Cowboy's head movement has never been great, but here Donald really was just a punching bag. I think Nate really got inside his head before the fight.
Cowboy' stiffness is just as impressive as his endurance and resilience.
Shit, he just kept putting pressure on cowboy and he couldn't gather himself. He just seemed like he was in a blender and barely was keeping his head above 🌊
I have to say that the punches looks light and sloppy but at the same time, powerful and doing a lot of damage
Have that mma's boxing definitely evolved
The 9 dislikes are Donald Cerron different CZcams account's.
We love Nate and all but goddamn cowboy has a chin. Took so much damage and tanked it all. Made it go the distance
It should never happen, but Nate vs Colby would be a WAR.
Man I hope he's on this shit come this weekend and give Edwards the STOCKTON SLAP
If this Nate Diaz showed up every fight he would be champ at one point
cerrone lost the menal game and then nate beat the shit out of him
cerrone even said so himself, on Rogan's podcast he said this is the fight that taught him to not fight emotional and pissed off
@@KrikZ32 that's how he fights pisses off? 😂
