Congratulations on getting your Suri. She is a great choice! I have her in my collection and I think she has some of my favorite stock. Most dolls get changed as soon as they get here, but she is living in the outfit she arrived in.

I chose Suri too, generally for the same reason, I mostly prefer the darker haired dolls 🤗... Love her ❤🌸

Suri is lovely and she's definitely a doll which has grown on me the more I see her. Totally agree with you with regards to the skin tones of Blythe, we definitely need a wider variety than what we're currently being given. Also hair - all we get are the same few types of hair styles, ALL long, some with fringes/bangs and some without and that is it! What about short hair? What about textured hair? I feel that there are so many different things that they could do.

Suri is my first real Blythe. When I saw her at the shop I fell in love and had to bring her home. I was not going to buy a doll, but she was so cute. My Suri also sheds a lot. I'm removing loose hair all the time... but I still love her. I like her skin tonalities and the brown eyes are my favourite. Reallly I don't know why doesn't seem to be popular... maybe in Japan they prefer more fair skins?
I'm unsure why Suri isn't getting more love, either! Yes, it could be tastes differ depending on the region. But I absolutely adore her, shedding hair and all! 🥰 Thanks so much for watching!
Agree, I was hoping when Good Smile took over Takara's manufacturing of the dolls that we'd see more skin tone varieties. However, if you compare her to many other stock Blythes, she is a tad darker.
Yes, she definitely is a tad darker, which I love. Just wish they would go even darker!! 😆
It was a toss up between Suri and Elegant Ellie for my first stock doll. I went with Ellie. Suri had her share of complaints, mainly hair issue - which I am hearing it's a QC issue and luck. She is supposed to be the same latte/tan shade as Elegant Ellie if I recall correctly
Ooh, I didn't realize others complained of her hair and it was a possible QC issue--maybe that's why she ultimately didn't get as much love after her release. What a shame.
I must choose between Suri and Urban Fairy Elle. Can you help me please?
Oooh that's a tough choice! If you don't have an olive-skinned Blythe yet, I'd say, go with Suri. She's also more versatile in terms of changing clothes, if you like to dress yours in different outfits. Urban Fairy Ellie's hair color doesn't necessarily go with everything. But she's gorgeous as well, if you don't have other Blythes with fun hair color. You can't go wrong with either doll!
Thank you! I do love that Suri is darker skinned. Only thing is that I have a factory doll with her hair color. But I think Suri's might be a little different. It is so hard to tell in photos. I do love her stock also. Decisions decisions lol.
